Helpful staff, clean room, nice beds, free airport shuttle

In a very sketchy neighborhood. Right near the hotel there is a homeless camp under a bridge, and traveling on foot at night feels very unsafe.

I’m here for the Airworks conference but I cannot even login with the internet to my work computer the wifi is so weak , tried during the day and tried at midnight and still cannot log in . so definitely wifi needs improving otherwise I will not stay here for next years conference at the mirage.

Everything was great! Don’t let “motel” scare you away. This place was legit awesome all around. Check-in was easy, I loved the Security on property and how attentive they were w/the hotel and lot. I knew we were safe and so was our car. Our room was clean, had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Wished there was a fridge but we had the ice machine we relied on to help chill whatever we needed cold. There are vending machines for food & drink needs and even a microwave down there. I highly recommend this hotel for an overnight or short stay near the airport. For the price, definitely worth it!!!

everything was good until we got to our room. it had a funny smell im not sure if it was cigarettes and must or what but im glad i had some body spray on me. other than that it was ok. i do feel like all the rooms should have atleast a mini fridge. also idk whats the point of a parking pass if its $1 more than staying overnight. and the staff picks and chooses when to give validation. i extending the stay for my mother three times and only once i was offered validation since my car was not parked there

Toilets could be better, windows needs to open Staff: managers are just fine. Rest of the staff, especially trainees are very arrogant, pretending we know they are in training when they don’t wear a badge ( they where on the first day I arrived, with the writing trainee on it) I asked how the sandwich machine was working in the reception area, and he said “Oh I don’t have idea how that works, very poor answer for someone that works there! So after, everybody was in silence, so I asked :” Well does anyone knows??” And there where other couple of episodes that I am not mentioning, maybe I’ll write a review online with those. Staff needs to be trained better and needs to be more polite with the customers. Mostly have Knowledge of the products offered to customers.

I've stayed at Motel 6 LAX before and it's a great choice for an overnight stay between two long haul flights. It's easy to travel between the hotel and LAX, and the surrounding neighbourhood feels safe. There are a range of shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. Local buses are available with direct transit to Redondo Beach and Santa Monica, which is ideal if you are awaiting an evening flight and need to kill time. The room had all advertised amenities and the Wifi was good. I will certainly stay here again.

The curtains are pretty poor and let in lots of light from the street late at night, which isn't ideal if you need a good nights sleep. I didn't like that my room had no hairdryer.

I was there for the Metallica shows at SoFi this past weeken, so it was pretty busy but the staff was really was quick and nice. The young lady that helped me check in was super nice and helpful, I believe her name is Shawntay. Our room wasn't ready upon check in but she went to make sure, when she came back she did confirm that it wasn't ready but would be able to accommodate us to one that was ready and good to go. We were pretty tired from traveling but she made checking in smoother, i will definitely be booking here again when we stay in Inglewood

Motel 6 at LAX was a great choice for a short stay between long haul flights. The hotel is in a good location and I used it to connect to buses to the north and south of the city: there are many good bus routes from right outside the hotel. The local area is friendly and feels safe. The room had all advertised amenities and was very quiet at night: I slept well. Special mention should go to the transfer shuttle driver, who went out of her way to get us to the airport despite massive roadblocks due to a protest. Give that woman a raise! Highly recommend for British travellers.

The information on Booking.com about cash deposits is inconsistent.

This was a convenient overnight option after landing at LAX from a long flight. Picked up pretty quickly by the shuttle and only five minutes from the airport. Got the shuttle back to the airport the next morning to pick up our hire car. Room was fine and no complaints. Good value for money. The area around the hotel isn't very salubrious but can't say we felt unsafe at any time. A quick walk over the road to 7 11, food options etc.

Would have been nice to offer something more than coffee at breakfast, even just croissants or donuts or something.

We felt the price was good for a one day stay. The room was big so you can put the suite cases against the wall out of the way. The bench dining area was nice. There was a great Mexican restaurant a few blocks from the hotel. The front desk was great.

The shuttle only ran once an hour. It was free so can't complain too much. The evening shuttle person was great, but morning guy was rude. Would like better vending machines/food options. There was homeless camp near the hotel. Don't know if it is normal for LA.
