- lovely house located just 30 min walk from walk of fame and 1hr walk from Beverly Hills. - plenty of different restaurants within 5 min walk from the property - great host always willing to help - nice breakfast - lovely dog that lives in the house, Dolly - the dog that doesn’t bark and only enhances experience - not noisy, quiet street and felt safe even in the evening

bed was a bit small but we got used to it quickly

House is very cozy and inviting. Elaine is super friendly and accommodating. The room was super spacious and clean. It's great that it had its own bathroom. Neighborhood was quiet, and I felt safe there. Would definitely stay here again. Bonus was getting to meet Dolly, her lovely and very well-behaved dog.

Only think that was tricky was the parking, only a certain number of street permits so I had to park in the very cramped carport and I did scratch my car slightly 😳

Elaines is very near to Hollywood Blvd. It is only a short walk away. We used the hop on/off open top bus and there is a stop just down the road which was great for us. Elaine and Julia are very pleasant and approachable and made us both feel welcome. We would not hesitate to stop over here again. The breakfasts are lovely and are a nice touch that is a welcome surprise.

Just a minor that we would have liked a kettle or coffee m/c for a late night cuppa so not to disturb anyone else. However Elaine had no problems in us using the kitchen kettle.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The location honestly couldn’t have been better; it was on a quiet street within walking distance of a number of attractions, restaurants, and shops, and a quick bus ride away from most others (and the bus stop was a very short walk up the street). Our bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was so delightful that I easily could’ve stayed in for quite a bit longer if not for the statewide drought! Elaine was very pleasant to chat with and had no shortage of suggestions for things to see, do, and eat. Our room was very large and we so enjoyed having a large balcony where we could relax outdoors between activities. We’ll absolutely look to stay there again the next time we’re in the area!

Nothing comes to mind, honestly!

Elaine was so gracious and hospitable, and we enjoyed her home. Our room upstairs, the Pink Room, was very spacious for our family of two parents and two older teens. We even had our own deck overlooking the backyard garden. The air conditioning and fan kept us comfortable in the summer heat. Breakfast with Elaine was also lovely—she had a variety of breads, pastries, fruit, cheese, and cereal along with coffee (including decaf) and tea.

The Bed and Breakfast is in a great location, close to the main sites of Hollywood but far enough away to feel relaxing. We used walking, the bus network and ubers to get around, we were easily able to access the hike up to Griffith observatory and Warner brothers studios which are a little further away without a car. The room was brilliant, we had a beautiful sun terrace that was perfect for relaxing in the evenings.

The house is at an exceptional location, safe and nice street in middle of Hollywood. The house itself is beautiful and spacious. The room was nice, clean and comfortable with private bathroom. Our host Julia was super helpful and nice! All together we felt like visiting a friend!

Wonderful stay at Elaine's. Elaine was a great hostess, just ask and she'll have lots of tips for your stay in LA. Quiet street between Hollywood and Sunset Blvds, great location. Nice continental breakfast every morning with the other guests. Very reasonably priced for LA as well.

Nothing, everything was great.

We loved staying at Elaines. We were there for 2 nights. From the minute you walk in, it feels like home. Elaine and her dog Bizou are so welcoming. Elaine provides a great selection for breakfast in the morning, I particularly enjoyed the pot of tea. Elaine was so helpful. She provided us with a street parking permit, two bus/metro tickets which we could top up at a nearby station, and tips about where to view the Hollywood sign and a lovely local farmers market. The location is perfect and the house is really cosy.

location!! also it was very comfortable and inviting. we felt like we were coming home after a long day of sightseeing.

we did not get to enjoy the family room or yard. we were told that it was their living space and not to spend too much time on the sofa. wish we could have sat in the living room and enjoyed the 100+ wonderful books she had!
