We liked the stay at this hotel at Two-Bedroom Residential Suite on a higher floor. The suite was as advertised, spacious and clean. It was quiet and any request well serviced. Staff was very friendly. Internet was fast (with smooth Netflix and Youtube HD). Drinking water is provided in multiple bottles daily. Room service food is good. Breakfast is one of the reasons to choose this place with insane amount of selections on noodles, Indian, Korean, Asian food, pancakes, waffles and also western breakfast options. Recommended place to stay and I would return again next time. Major spots like Iconsiam, temples, Chinatown and center areas are closeby and easy to get by Grab taxi.

This place is great to stay. The lobby lounge and rooftop bar close early at 10:00 PM and 12:00 AM respectively. Breakfast also closes at 10:30 AM. For a good 5 star hotel and no other place to go in this neighborhood, I would suggest this as improvement to allow more convenience during the stay. After closing of rooftop bar and lounge there is literally nothing to do or to eat in public hotel areas. In the neighborhood there is also nothing to eat, except for food delivery or room service.

Beautiful 5* hotel with luxurious decorations and impressive swimming pool. Professional staff to take care of us and our loved ones. We enjoyed the situation of the hotel and the comfort of the room, the bedding that gives you exceptional sleep, the sweet freshness and the scent of flowers from the lobby. Exceptional Chinese restaurant Yao at 32th floor + panoramic view and sublime cocktail on the rooftop bar ! Including of course all the amenities one would expect from such a beautiful location. Our family frequents many luxury hotels and we particularly enjoyed the Marriott surawongse. Thank you for taking care of us. See you very soon.

Amazing hotel! Yes you pay a premium for it, but I would say totally worth it. 2 Big bedrooms, with a fantastic master bathroom. And the rain shower itself is great with lots of power. The infinity pool is beautiful and has a nice view over the town. Water was a bit cold, but on a warm day was good. Room has a small kitchen and washing machine which was a great use after 5 days in phuket. you wont regret booking here

Stay was fantastic. We were well received by the Hotel concierge, particularly Mr. Chang. He gave us valuable insight on tourist activities to do during our brief stay at the hotel.... restaurants to see, river market to visit, etc. and even went as far as arranging reliable and cost friendly transportation for my wife and I for our whole stay. He took care of the haggling for us....we were never involved. The hotel is also on a street that has nice restaurants and night market and entertainment within a stone throw. When next I am in Bangkok, I will stay here. If you ever make it out there.... ask for Mr. Chang!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott in Bangkok and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a beautiful room that exceeded my expectations. The location was convenient, with easy access to most of the city's main attractions. However, some of the famous temples are a bit far from the hotel. The facilities were top-notch, with a modern gym and an inviting outdoor pool. But what really made my stay exceptional was the exceptional service I received from the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy, and I truly appreciated their attention to detail. Overall, I would highly recommend the Marriott in Bangkok to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. Thank you to the entire team for making my trip unforgettable.

the property was very cool and modern, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. it was a great place to relax after a tiring day of exploring Bangkok.

it was quite far from the metro which is just a small pain when trying to get around. the restaurant on the roof was also not great. view is exceptional however they made multiple mistakes. we booked a specific table and when we arrived it turned out it wasn’t available, took ages to take our order, everything came out far too fast and it was cold (second time they brought it out tho was fine). Considering how much you’re paying - especially in Bangkok where you know for a fact you can eat for a fraction of this price - it needs to be better.

The hotel rooms are clean and modern, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The room we stayed in had a walk in shower and a bath as well as a window so you can see your partner whilst showering (you have blinds as well in case you're not travelling with a partner). The breakfast at this hotel is really exceptional. The amount of choice on offer is huge, both western and Asian options. It's really incomparable to anything else if you've only stayed in European hotels.

Only minor point here would be that the staff are very quick to take your plates during breakfast even when you still have food on them. But really this hotel is great. We've been to Bangkok several times and this is the best place we've stayed in for the money.

Perfect location near the river and a short distance to all the major attractions. The location is much better than the area near the Anantara, St. Regis, and Kimpton. Amazing breakfast, but little day to day variety. Still enough options not to get boating for a year. Perfect decor and amenities that rival hotels costing twice or more just a few blocks away. As lovely as Mandarin Oriental is I’m glad I picked Marriott for my Bangkok stay. I visited Mandarin Oriental and a few other big name hotels for food and drinks, but still remained happy with my pick. We stayed at a suite but saw the regular rooms. Suites are definitely worth the extra cost. The gym was excellent and well equipped. If you’re a large party insist on rooms on the same floor as the room card only allows access to your floor.

The pool is nice but too crowded. The rooftop bar is excellent but with limited wine selection and it closes a little too early.

Really great place to stay. The hotel looks average from the outside, but is a real joy to be in once you get inside. Huge shout out to the staff, every single person we came into contact with was excellent - I really appreciated the small touches like, fresh coconuts, finding us 'long pants' to wear so we could visit temples and negotiating with the tuk-tuk and taxi drivers to get us the best rates. The pool is beautiful - who doesn't love an infinity pool in the sky, right?! The view isn't great and it's not helped by the fact Bangkok is so polluted, but hey, it's a small detail that the Marriott can do little to solve!

My only potential 'downer' was the restaurant; the quality of the food vs. the price... didn't work in right favour for me... I would not gush about visiting the restaurant on your stay. Having said that, breakfast was good and worth paying for!
