OK I promised myself I would write a worthy review for the people at Sonder after my stay so here it is: 1. Location If you know Dubai then you know JBR is a very popular place to stay. We arrived at Sonder early in the morning and were given a check in time of around 1pm. It was quiet at this time, no traffic and we had plenty to do before checking in. The hotel apartments are located in the heart of JBR attached to the Rixos and JBR beach. Everything is available within a 5 min walk, food, restaurants, market, groceries, pharmacy, beach, mosque, absolutely everything you need! 2. Staff Staff are very friendly and accommodating meeting all requests where possible and doing everything possible for us to enjoy our stay. They respond to phone queries near enough immediately and message enquiries on the same day. Always happy, smiling and welcoming! 3. The Apartment I don't know where to start with this but we got the 4 bedroom plus maids room so 5 bedrooms and the panoramic apartment we had was humongous, literally 4000 sqft with panoramic views and so much more space than needed. We were 5 people but 9 people could easily stay in this apartment with facilities including a washer dryer, bathtub, iron, safes, sofa, dining chairs,.fully kitted kitchen and great TV. It felt like luxury from the get go! Easily the highlight of the stay. Underground free parking and a great pool jacuzzi area (private Jacuzzis for hire) with loads of food and drink options All in all, it was a fantastic stay with a great hotel, great staff and many memories!

Nothing, I can't think of a thing I didn't like. If I could I'd make the check in time earlier as the earliest one can check in is 1pm.

Everything about the property was fantastic, location, facilities, staff, food, it really was luxurious. There was just 1 negative (it will only be a negative for some people).

I originally booked a 1 bedroom apartment sea facing for myself wife and daughter. All 1 bedroom apartments are on the first and second floor. In the pool area they play very loud thumping music 7 days a week, 10am to 7pm, so if you’re in a 1 bedroom sea facing room there is absolutely no escape. Due to this I upgraded our room at a cost of about £1000 (for the week) to a 3 bedroom apartment on the 34th floor, it was incredible, but even from that height you could still here the music a little but not too much. If I would have stayed on the first floor where my original room was located, it would have driven me crazy by the end of the first day.

I rented a 3 bedroom apartment for my family for a week. Everything was perfect. They even want to stay at the hotel to fully enjoy its services instead of going sightseeing outside. The hotel swimming pool is perfect and very nice views !!! Apartment with full amenities. The staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. Will be back again in the near future. The perfect place for a family trip!!!

we stayed at sonder late october early november. only positive impressions. when we checked-in first we got a room on 1st floor - was noisy at night due to night club at ground floor. The manager Elmir was very helpful and helped us find a quiet room on a second floor. Then closer to end of stay we wanted to extend by one more day, and another manager Yassin was again super helpful. Yassin helped find a new room for us, which was significantly bigger but came at same price we paid before. So big thanks to Yassin and Elmir. will definitely return

Perfect place to stay for families with children. Clean and safe .

Clear signs about no food or drinks to bring into pool side when staying in Sonder . Also the cleaning service has been removed and we need to pay extra .I think it should be included in the price . That was very disappointing .

location, view on the palm dubai, direct access beach. the apartment is really spacious and has most comfortable beds i ever seen.

this has two views, my view having an emergency one day before booking date and i was trying to cancel the booking but Sonder did not show any flexibility in refund. the other view was the hotel sticking to booking cancellation policy with zero refund. Sonder could have given options instead of declining my request. the other thing, service is really slow after office hrs. had an issue with TV remote but failed to show up despite multiple reminders. after another call in the morning, they came to fix but was a horrible remote control to operate.

The hotel has a perfect location by the beach and a variety of restaurants. Also, you can take taxi to any destination you need at an affordable price.

There is a party every Saturday until 1am. It is extremely loud considering we stayed on the 36th floor facing beach. We could still hear music in the apartment 🙈 Also, another strange moment we noticed is that you need to swipe an entry card when leaving the bulding into the pool area (back door) and swipe it again when getting back in. It is very inconvenient not to mention I am not sure of the reasoning for that. Security purpose, perhaps?

There is a sense of racism on the pool team Getting a sunbed took 30 minutes, but there were a lot of free sunbeds available

Sonder is the best place to stay with family. Our apartment was huge and spacious and each room with a toilet. Staffs are attentive and responsive. Daily housekeeping service was there throughout our stay though I read some reviews complaining about not having dailly cleaning location is amazing every thing is nearby. JBR is a beautiful place to spend your vacation. We had an AC issue very hot in apartment 38 th floor and good they were able to accommodate us on another floor

The price is too high. Late check in and early check out is a down side though you make a request but it's rejected though it's chargeable on request due to housekeeping cleaning as per their claim then increase the number of housekeeping if you have shortage of staffs don't take that an excuse to your guest request. Don't stay in 38th floor the AC is not working and they don't know how to fix beside they will give the excuse that it's directly facing the sun light.

The property offers incredible space, each room with its own en-suite bathroom facility too and wardrobe but not enough hangers to hang your clothes for more than 3 days on average for each person. The kitchen was equipped with the basic necessities: microwave, kettle, toaster, oven, dishwasher, double fridge/freezer. Property also had a washing machine/dryer, iron and ironing board too. The living/dinning area is open, also offering lots of space…and the views from our floor were breathtaking. Waking up each morning to the sights of the sea/beach area in addition to the bright lights of the JBR walk, those that choose to stay here will not be disappointed. Staff were warm, welcoming and super accommodating - customer service at its best.

There were some minor issues for example, we were not able to get the TV to work or connect to Netflix, having a little downtime before heading out again. The small room bathroom lock was broken which hadn’t been fixed in a previous maintenance schedule…but these were very minor issues that did not affect our stay or experience much at all.
