Initially we were in the lagoon view double room, however due to changing rooms twice because of some issues, we were upgraded to the suite! Staff were very welcoming and prompt.

In first room carpet was very damp and smelt damp, the second room had the most bizarre issues from the previous guest which weren't cleaned properly. Then we got upgraded to the suite which was such a lovely room however as soon as we opened the bathroom door in both bathrooms, there was a very strong cigarette smell which the cleaners agreed on. Due to AC and no window ventilation, the strong smell lingered for day 1 and we had to leave all the room doors open and ask the cleaner to spray dettol to try and wipe out the smell. Overall the room was very good (apart from the smell). Novotel must really pay attention on ensuring non-smoking rooms aren't being smoked in and cleaning is done thoroughly.

The staff was amazing they where so helpful Everyone took pride in the property and worked hard to achieve excellence From the manager to the counter staff to Ramadan everyone was so helpful and did everything to make our stay comfortable as possible

Most hotels in Sharjah do not have windows that open… so there is a issue for asthma and people with breathing problems especially children But as constructive the hotel should invest in air purifying fans for people who do have asthma and breathing issue But everything else in this hotel is perfect

Well-managed with highly professional staff notably Ramadhan, Sumaira, Fatma and Sharon. The team here are well trained walking the extra mile to put guest satisfaction at the forefront. The location and the overall cleanliness of the facility is second to none with standards that you can rely on.

Value for money is the only area that might need to be revisited. However, this property far exceeds my expectations. It is competing and might surpass some of the 5 starts in the area.

Very good hotel and location

The duty manager Majdy Mansour was very rude to me at time check out with behavior of annoying and go out now with zero tolerance which make me nervous and I lost some of my personal item This receptionist doesn’t have the essential skills of service , five star hospitality I wish I can complain to tourism government ministry at Al Sharjah state By the way checked out 12:50

The reception lady (from the Philippine) who welcomed me when I arrived. She was very friendly, polite and helpful. She created my mother before the first time we arrived and after we checked out. She called me twice to make sure I was happy with the suite and asked if I needed anything. She displayed the true meaning of hospitality. Novotel should be proud to have an employee like her. Actually all the staff were extremely helpful, polite and nice.

it’s a peaceful , clean place, parking lots were more than enough, we enjoyed the kids play room a lot near the pool. I recommend this place for a quick family off day. thanks again for the hotel to make our stay beyond expectations. and once again, a special thanks to MR. ACHRAF (from Algeria) at reception, who was the main contributor for our great stay and experience, not forgetting to mention about his superb hospitality explaining my concern about ALL ACCOR Account and upgrading us to lake-view room which we enjoyed a lot.

it is a contemporary establishment and has good view towards the sea. we stayed here feb2022 and came back again on 4th June 2022 with more friends. we booked 3 rooms all together, the rooms were clean & comfy, breakfast has lot of verity. the receptionist Ms Sumera was very welcoming, whenever we needed anything nothing was a problem for her. she made sure our requirements were fulfilled and made us felt we are at home.

swimming pool is too small, cards were keep breaking so had to visit reception frequently

Location is perfect with a nice lake view. The staff are friendly, kind & respond promptly to requests.

Spacious room, good location, great housekeeping and allowed for late checkout to accommodate late flight and late check in

Despite arriving to check in later than start time the room was not ready and we ended up having to wait an hour in the lounge which had a knock on effect for other pre-planned booked activities. However, they did compensate with a slighter late check out time which was much appreciated

Extremely clean, new, fresh, open and spacious. They are as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible with their refilled water bottles and bathroom consumables. Car park conveniently situated in basement with easy access. Amazing location and view of the lagoon.

No hairdryer in bathroom.
