Excellent location , comfortable, lovely breakfast , loads to choose from to suit everyone, I would book again

Nothing , I couldn't fault it , parking got a little tricky on a weekend, but that was due to people leaving large gaps between each car

The staff at the hotel were so helpful and friendly. They worked so hard and were really busy but still managed to look after everyone's requirements and always with a smile. The layout was excellent and suitable for my elderly, less able sister. We easily managed (in a wheelchair) to access all key facilities. The hotel is ideally situated on the seafront for a slow walk on the flat, wide promenade which is great for those using walking aids. The evening meals were lovely and there was so much choice for breakfast. The bar area was well laid out and fully stocked. I look forward to future stays here.

Only one thing didn't meet my expectations and that was the carpet needed a thorough vacuuming but this did not spoil our holiday and I will be happy to return to this hotel.

Our room was really superb, we went for one of the Deluxe Doubles, and so glad we did. It was just lovely, and had such a great view. Also really quiet and private being right at the top of the hotel, and felt like our own little oasis! The hotel seemed very friendly, and the location is perfect, right in the prom. The overall decor could maybe be spruced up a bit, but everywhere was clean and mostly well cared for. We didn’t have breakfast or dinners in the hotel, but the restaurant looked nice and the bar seemed very cozy.

There could have been more teabags etc provided for the tea making station in the room. Selection wasn’t exactly overwhelming! And there seemed to be no hot water during mid mornings, so if you fancied a lie in and then a shower, it’s likely to be cold (which was fine in the hot weather we had but maybe not to everyone’s taste!) We didn’t use the roll top bath, but I did notice there was no bubblebath provided (just a soap and shampoo/conditioner) if there had been bubblebath, I might have been more tempted!

Good location, next to the beach. Everything just a few minutes walk away, Consitution Hill, shops, restaurants etc... Hotel has own bar and restaurant 🙌 and onsite parking. We had a drink in the bar , nice atmosphere not overpriced. If you don't get parking onsite , there is another parking near by just for a £6 /24 hour.

Room was nice and clean with comfy beds, but the water in the tap had a very bad smell. For the price what you paying I think a small bottle af water /pp would be nice, than you don't have to use a smelly water to make a tea or coffee in the morning. We had breakfast, which one was nice too, but not enough staff, for busy service. First we were waiting in the door to check in for bf. and after when don't see any staff went in as we were on the rush. Tried to use a coffee machine just for hot water but it wasn't working , so another 10 min to get someone to ask to fix the issue, and my bf. was already cold 😵 The 2 girls did amazing job, so thanks to them, but obviously it's need to improve.

Everything and everyone was extremely kind and helpful except one member of staff, the receptionist when we arrived was very abrupt when we asked for a cocktail, which wasn't available at that time, (we didn't know that,) and a cappuccino which was also not available at that time, (again we didn't know that.) Her response was quite rude, we thought she could have been more polite. We immediately left to go up town to get those things. We felt there was no need for her to be so abrupt, she could have stipulated that she was 'sorry' but these things weren't available until later. Needless to say everyone else was extremely nice and polite.

The receptionist that was on duty when we arrived was very abrupt and not welcoming. She obviously didn't attend 'charm school!!'

Great location right on the promenade. Room very spacious with a lovely bay window overlooking the seaside. Breakfast was good. Close to the town centre with an easy walk to all you needed.

Staff were a bit picky with check in time. We got there 15 minutes early and made us wait until 3pm and then sat chatting instead of telling us they were ready. Our room was lovely overlooking the sea but once the sun came out it came streaming into the room which made it very hot. The curtains didn’t do much to block it out and there was no air conditioning.

I was staying in the hotel on business whilst visiting a client in the area, but found it very useful for access to the town centre for restaurants and shops. I used the wi-fi to do business and found it very reliable. The view over the sea was very calming and helped me to get a lot done. The breakfast was filling and tasty and the parking on site most useful.

When I arrived, the lighting in the stairwell was not functioning properly, so to go upstairs to my room at the top of the hotel meant a somewhat precarious ascent!

A wonderful host that made us feel most welcome and the care we were shown far exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was exceptional and the additional food was so good. One of the best places Guest Houses I've stayed at.

The atmosphere was friendly and the room was comfortable. Even though we didn’t have a sea view our room looked over mountains. The room was cleaned everyday. The seating area in reception looking out at the sea view was a great place to meet our friends. The bar was welcoming. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. Beautiful seafront location.

The room was too warm and could have done with USB charging sockets.

Fabulous View - Sea so close I could go for a swim before breakfast very easily. Bathroom a little small but adequate. Good breakfast and lovely waitress who was missing her home in India. She was delightful. Reception staff very helpful. A typical old fashioned see front hotel. Rooms were very well serviced and extremely clean, beds very comfortable We were not there long enough to try out the spa.

We tried to book dinner the first evening but there was a wait of over an hour while a coach party was fed. It felt that we were going to be an inconvenience. We went out to eat. The breakfast tables were old laminate and a bit sticky. Would have preferred to have breakfast served in a smaller room, rather than the cafeteria feel of the ballroom!
