Very Peaceful and beautiful location. placed in a picturesque village surrounded by outstanding natural beauty. This charming property displayed a wonderfully balanced contrast between preserved old original fixtures and a modern look. The host was very friendly, making us feel very welcome and safe. The room was beyond comfortable and very spacious. We were extremely impressed with the high standard of decoration inside and out. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious, it was all ready for us within the scheduled time and included a variety of options and high quality food. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

The room was spacious, immaculately clean, comfortable and quiet. The cooked breakfast was well cooked and very well presented. A good range of elements was included - all of a good standard. The house itself is elegant and the owner was extremely helpful

The only slight negative was that there is nowhere to eat in Blackford in the evening as the local pub is not doing food - though an excellent pub. However, this meant that we travelled by local bus to nearby Auchterarder where we ate at the excellent Delivino's which was far superior to any pub meal.

It’s a gracious house and our room was large, well appointed and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Kate provides an excellent breakfast and good recommendations for what to do.

Our only slight misgiving was that you have to drive several miles to find somewhere to eat in the evening, as there are no pubs or restaurants in Blackford itself.

Beautiful high class Georgian style house. Spacious rooms, comfortable large size double bed, comfortable shower. The lady host went out of her way to prepare us a real great Scottish breakfast. Very warm and personal attentionate host. Near Gleneagles Hotel and golf courses. Absolutely recommended

The property is well maintained, the house and bedrooms are spotless, lovely spacious rooms. The rooms have everything you want. Pre ordered breakfast which was fab, there is plenty of info in the bedrooms regarding the surrounding area as well as local restaurants and taxi numbers.

Breakfast very good , immaculately clean, fresh orange juice, my choice of cooked perhaps didn’t help, mushrooms tasted really strange and scrambled egg a bit runny,

Not a lot, it was all very pleasant, and immaculate, beds comfy and lovely shower room. I found stairs hard with my luggage but that is because I am not very well and old ! Price per night a bit expensive for a single person.

Quiet main street location made finding easy. Building was very fresh and bright. Spacious bedroom was well fitted out as was the ensuite bathroom and shower. The size and quality of the bedding was luxurious.. Breakfast was lovely and very filling. The conservatory setting and the background music enhanced the soothing effect. We would definitely recommend this business.

Kate is a fabulous hostess and everything about Middleton House is first class. The rooms are beautifully decorated and fitted out to a high standard to meet customers needs, they were spotless. The quality of the breakfast was excellent and good quality produce used. Middleton House is situated in a very quiet village so you are guaranteed a peaceful night's sleep. Despite being quiet it is the ideal location from which to visit Scotland with Edinburgh, Glasgow, Sterling, Perth, Loch Lomond and the Highlands only a short drive away. It was a pleasure to have spent two nights there and I look forward to staying there again. A real gem .

Lovely location, ideal for us going into Gleneagles golf courses. Plenty of street parking and a couple of parking spaces at the property. We had a beautiful big en-suite bedroom and Kate did us some lovely breakfasts. We would definitely stay there again if/when we are in that area.

Superb breakfast, large, clean room, very friendly host. Midleton House is a great find and a brilliant base if you are exploring all the golf courses in the area.
