Patience who did my full body massage, was excellent. A lovely person, and a credit to your hotel.
We had an absolute disaster, my partner booked and paid for a treatment for me, and was double charged. Not what we needed, our stay was following a very recent bereavement over Christmas, and he did not need the added expense of being accused of not paying for something that was booked and paid for in November. Myself and the girls were unable to get access to any hottubs or steam rooms etc, as everywhere was completely packed. This should have been a relaxing experience following our bereavement, and came home feeling more stressed than ever, and we are finding it very difficult to get someone to trace the payment and refund our money. Have stayed many times before, and nothing like this has ever happened before. We are more than disappointed with our awful experience.

Everything! Wow, what an experience. The food, environment, rooms, and spa were incredible. I loved experiencing all of the different spa amenities- the steam room, hot tubs, cool room, and sea salt spa were all amazing. I felt so relaxed and refreshed, and wished I could have more time! We had dinner at Gilly's and breakfast in the Conservatory, and staff were incredibly mindful and accommodating of any dietary modifications. The food and drinks were all delicious. I cannot wait to return to this place.
Only complaint was that when our car was brought by valet, it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, which was very surprising at the end of such a luxurious stay. We were concerned because it was a rental car, but luckily the smell faded and we did not incur any charges upon return.

Galgorm is absolutely stunning- I was expecting more of a historic castle stay, but it was massive and beautiful. The hotel runs along a river that makes a pleasant rapids sound at night. It was our anniversary, and the staff left us a card- really nice touch. There were restaurants and bars within the grounds (see below)- the bar was great. Very comfortable bed, really great stay. The thermal spa was also really nice and a cool experience for someone who has never really been to a spa before- I would've loved to book the riverside private tubs as they are beautiful! Breakfast was delicious and in the beautiful tea space.
It's expensive, as you can expect from this sort of place. My husband didn't love his massage, but mine was great. We booked dinner at Fratelli's, which was mostly just okay.

The shepherds huts are the perfect cosy romantic getaway. The fit out of the huts and attention to detail is simply top class. From the complimentary mini bar to the complimentary bath bombs for your outdoor bath tub. Everything in the hut feels considered and luxurious - the Dyson hairdryer is an excellent touch and also very appreciated when you are likely getting your hair wet each day at the spa. The hotel, spa and restaurants were all amazing. We ate at Gillies, The Castle and Fratellis. We found the food to be very reasonably priced and I was happy with everything. The best thing about the hotel is the thermal village and spa facilities set among the Galgorm woodland and real beside the river. I lost count of all the hot tubs, vitality pools, saunas, steam rooms and jacuzzis. A stay here is a real treat and I'm already thinking of when we can go back
The drinks here are on the pricey side but you are paying for the experience and the setting. A glass of prosecco in the vitality pool looking out over the river is well worth it in my opinion.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. I have dietary requirements and they were so accommodating of my needs. The spa is amazing - the biggest I've ever been in - lots of lovely facilities (you could spend the entire day there). The food was fantastic - we ate in Gillies and Fratellis. The shower in the room was fantastic, the beds were so comfy, the complimentary mini bar was a nice touch. An amazing complex with exceptional staff.
Prices on site for food, drink and treatments are a little more expensive than usual but it is a 5 star hotel and in my opinion, are worth it.

We got upgraded to a deluxe room overlooking the thermal village. It was such a lovely room. Mini Bar included was unreal as this was the first hotel that we have stayed in that the mini bar was included. The thermal Village was unreal. Very big with loads of different areas with pools etc. The Gillies restaurant for both breakfast and evening meal. We really enjoyed our back massage. The private hot tub experience was unreal by the river, really enjoyed it with the bottle of champayne highly recommend.
In Gillies we got charged for water with our dinner and the table next to us got offered tap water. The fact that you get charged for ice in the room

The gardens are beautiful. It took us a while to work out where everything was in the spa, but all the facilities were great. We both had a treatment and the practitioners were delightful, particularly Katie who did my facial. Had breakfast in the conservatory both days - and despite the rain - loved the view - and the choice of food.
A couple of loose fittings in our cottage and it took a while to sort out the heating. It was also quite difficult pulling a wheeled suitcase over the loose stones.

Cleanliness , quality of food
Sadly the lunch & dinner service let you down. Our lunch order was forgotten and I had to call staff after waiting 1 hour. At dinner we were not offered another drink order and we had to ask for desserts after waiting over an hour again. Extremely disappointed 😞 I have stayed with you on numerous occasions but this was my husbands first experience as it was our wedding anniversary. He was not impressed

The accommodation was really comfortable. Quality of food at breakfasts was excellent. The space of the spa is amazing and beautiful
There were too many people all trying to do the same thing. When there are a lot of people it would be good if more hot tubs could be opened. The restaurants on site are OK but not the same quality as the rest of the hotel. Food and drink in the spa is outrageously expensive.

The thermal village was fabulous. The spa treatment was also amazing and so relaxing.
Some of the staff let the experience down. I would expect every member of staff to be extremely friendly and accommodating and there were a couple who weren’t which felt disappointing. It was extremely disappointing that we weren’t allowed any access to the thermal village before 12pm yet they charged us for an extra hour to use the thermal village until 12pm the following day so we didn’t even have 24 hours access.
