Relatively easy to get to.. well maintained country/Farm house lived on by the family who rents out a couple of spare rooms to short stop guests

Not a lot to dislike, as long as you know what to expect. Luckily we did not have much time to stay inside as we went late in the night and got away early morning, so wasn’t sure if any other areas like living room etc were accessible for guests to use, because if you have to stay in for a few hours in daylight then it will be a little boring to spent the time in a smaller room. The room we had did not have an attached bathroom, but i guess it’s my own fault for not reading that properly, but did not cause any inconvenience as we (my wife and I) were the only ones using that bathroom

Everything, from location to house to the wonderful hosts Keith and Caroline. We were welcomed like family and had some very enjoyable and interesting conversation. Our airy spacious room was ideal with its comfy bed and every necessity readily to hand. Though our host was entertaining herself she found time to make us feel at home and sourced a wonderful place for us to have an evening meal which we greatly enjoyed. The breakfast couldn't be improved on, a great choice and beautifully presented.

Superbly located in rural Oxford, a quiet, tranquil B&B of the highest standard. A very welcoming Caroline made us feel totally at home and a superb, leisurely breakfast next morning saw us on our way totally replete.

A quirky property that has been updated since its construction in the mid 1700's(!) lacks a shower cubicle but this is a small niggle in an otherwise top-notch establishment.

I stayed there with my mother and loved this get away farm. The farm is located outside the city and in the middle of the fields so perfect if you are seeking some silence. The hosts were lovely to talk to and provided awesome help (yes we did got to the covered market in Oxford) and yummy breakfast. The old house from the early 17th (?) is like a standing museum. Well maintained and taken care of by Caroline and her husband who made us feel at home.

Unfortunately there had been some other guests waking up early in the morning and the house is very noisy. So if you can, I recommend choosing the upper floor. 🙂 The horses were not onsite but in walking distance. 🙃 We should have stayed longer.

Very quiet, rural location, hidden away in a small hamlet, with lovely views of the garden from the bedroom window. Huge bath in our private bathroom with plenty of hot water. Large cooked breakfast with all the trimmings, plus fruits and cereals. Sharing the farmhouse kitchen table with other guests gave us a chance to interact and chat with both Caroline, our host, and other guests.

Lime Trees Farm is in a beautiful location. The bedroom was lovely, clean and well presented. There were two flapjacks in the room on arrival which were delicious and much appreciated. Great sized bath which was very relaxing and the bed was very comfortable. The cooked breakfast was brilliant. Highly recommend!

The host was very accommodating and super helpful. The breakfast was great! We enjoyed full English breakfast made right there as we were sitting at the table. We also enjoyed a little chat with the host as we waited for our meal.

The host was amazing but the Booking.com did not specify the cost was for single occupancy and didn’t give a choice. So we thought the price was for 2 as that’s what we searched for on the website but it turned out it was for 1 person. The price was stil worth it as we really enjoyed the stay but would have been nice if we knew it was for one person so we could have avoided the extra cost.

The breakfast was superb, Caroline was very accommodating and made us feel very welcome as did her husband Keith. You don't feel like a guest here, you feel like family. Boots the little terrier is lovely, wanted to bring her home!!

There was nothing we didn't like about Lime Trees Farm.

By sheer chance the owners have horses and are long term equestrians, in the true sense of the word. It was a lovely relaxing stay in a beautifully renovated old house. Caroline couldn’t be more helpful
