We stayed here to attend the WSX World Supercross Championship at Villa Park. Walk to Birmingham New Street Station which is 5 minutes away from the hotel and travel one stop to Aston then walk down the road 15mins to the stadium entrance. You can also walk to the Bullring in less than 10 minutes. Turn right out of the hotel to the main street and turn left, walk 5 minutes. You will see Moor St Station on your left, Primark on your right and the Bullring in front. Selfridges car park is just next to Moor St Station and cost us £14 to park from Friday - Sunday. Breakfast was fantastic - full English, smoothies, bakery, juices and cereals and was busy but well organised so make sure you book a time slot. We also had a drink in the bar-not a huge selection of drinks but managed to find something that suited! 😉 Very pleasant and well kept hotel, ideally located to enjoy events at Villa park and the vast shops and restaurants. Would recommend.

Always a great hotel, the staff are courteous and helpful.

Have been going to this hotel since it was new and for the most part it’s keeping up well ,tho this time we stayed in the older main part of the hotel and it is starting to need some refreshing , the rooms are still nice ,bathroom had some signs of mold in and around the sink overflow and around the water trap of the shower .little things like strong odor of room sanitation spray not sure if this was to cover a smell or just to much spraying .

The location of the hotel was excellent, very clean and modern. Room was big enough for 3 of us.

I thought most of the staff were very rude except the barman and some of the restaurant staff. I didn't like that housekeeping only replaced the towels with one towel after the 3 of us used the towels for showers so we had to ring reception for towels as there wasn't enough. Housekeeping also didn't replenish the tea tray after we used it our first night and when I asked reception for some water in the room I was told it is only complementary on the first night. I never heard this in any hotel before especially I paid more for my third nights stay than the other 2 nights. Customer service could be improved..

The room was spacious and immaculate. The bed super comfy and the shower room was a good size with a large vanity area and a big bright mirror. The rainfall shower was lovely and the towels were fluffy and white. The bar/restaurant is classy and those in my group who ate said the food was delicious. I loved the ambiance and one of my friends asked me to mention how appreciative she was of the outside area, because that meant she didn't have to go downstairs and out the hotel to have her wee post food cigarette (small pleasures). Check in and out is easy and done online and the staff at check in were so helpful and very welcoming. I adored this hotel!

Visually the outside doesn't do it justice. It's a beautiful hotel inside. My only complaint, if pushed, was the lack of a WC at bar level which meant going downstairs to use the loo. It would have bothered me more had I been there for the whole evening so in reality it really isn't much of a complaint.

I loved how big the room was and cleanliness and how the rooms were laid out which made it a unique room. The bed was huge and very comfortable with pillows that were perfect softness. The location for our hotel was perfect. We’re near the centre of Bullring which was great for me and my friend. Ideal location with the bad weather we had. The breakfast was lovely. Plenty of options for everybody especially if you’re a fussy eater. I loved how every bit of food was number coded for allergens which made selecting foods hassle free.

The lady who booked me and my friend into the hotel wasn’t and informative on things like breakfast as the other staff on reception. I wasn’t told about booking times, I only asked this as I heard the receptionist next to her inform other customers checking in.

Front of house staff were so lovely and I was upgraded to a suite which I was so grateful for. There was so much choice for breakfast including gluten free options.

My suite was amazing but a couple of small details let it down. The cheap plastic knobs on the mirrored chest of drawers fell off. These can easily be replaced for a more luxurious feel. Paper instructions on how to call Reception and where to find the hairdryer and work the fancy lighting and heating controls would be useful to guests. Emails to Reception are answered hours after being sent making the request invalid.

amazing location, walking distance from many attractions and right next to the bullring for shopping and restaurants. My room was of a really good standard, spacious enough and all the amenities needed for a lovely comfortable stay. I stay in Birmingham lots for work and this is easily one of my favourites, trust me I’ve stayed at them all. Staff were welcoming, friendly and always ready to help / answer questions

Nothing to note, it was great on every level, however if I had to mention anything it would be the fact that the hotels parking is a 5-8 minute walk away at Selfridges moor street car park, where hotel guests get cheaper deals to park.

Everything! Very accommodating, lovely staff, everyone was very friendly and kind towards me and my service dog. There is a gym in the hotel which we got some use out of. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty to choose from, including alternative milks for coffee/cereal. We had a couple of cocktails in the bar for the evening and Jahdeep was really great. A lovely member of your bar staff.

The disabled access door at the front is broken, so to enter without using a non revolving door was very difficult. The door was very heavy and the buttons did not work. Please get this fixed as a priority to make it accessible for all. A lot of the cutlery and glasses at breakfast had remnants, the dishwasher is probably being overloaded. Lastly, the room; there are no hooks in the room, we only had 1 hangar in the cupboard and there was nowhere to hang our coats etc. There are only plugs on one side of the bed. Otherwise, very happy with the room.

The room was lovely

It had taken us 2 hours to park as we needed a 24 hour car park as most shut at 10pm and we was going out on the night in the car parking cost £53 altogether for 1 night, as we was driving around looking the payment for the room was taken from my bank account so as we got to the hotel to check in they asked for payment and I explained it’s already been paid the women behind the desk only kept saying I don’t understand I don’t understand even pulling faces and storming off after showing my bank account that they payment has gone out, so they have taken 2 payments for the room with no explanation

Modern design of building and rooms. Catered to my wish of being up on a higher floor. Coat hanging closet and tea & coffee making facilities hidden neatly in the room to maximise space. Little chaise lounge/ seat by the window was nice. Shower had an overhead rain and handheld hose for variety. Toiletries in the bathroom were nice.

Bedside lamp on right side of bed not working Lighting Panel to control the main room lights was modern but it was a bit confusing Air Conditioning Panel to control the AC was modern but it was a bit confusing
