I received a very warm welcome from Lisa, who booked me in. Even more so, the male patrons who were in the bar, where I had to book in. As a female, staying there alone, I was initially intimidated with all men in the bar. They were absolutely lovely. I believe they were contractors who stay there regularly. Them & Lisa put me at ease very quickly, & I'd love to thank them for this!! The next morning, Paula made me what was hands down, the best bacon & egg buttie I've ever tasted!! She was so lovely & accommodating, & set me up for a great day!! Thank you!! The room was basic, but it had everything I needed to have somewhere to stay overnight whilst in the area. The standard of cleanliness was exceptional. I always strip the beds before I leave, & I didn't see 1 mark on the mattress or bedding, unlike many 4 & 5 star hotels I've stayed in around the country. The bed & pillows were very comfortable, so I felt well rested. Overall, I believe that at this price point, it's definitely great value for money

No kettle or bin on the room.

Staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help us and give advice for Uber and directions for local attractions. Although they didn't have a menu available, they did a home cooked meal for me and my 4 children and others that had also arrived after us. We got to enjoy the beautiful garden space, which was very peaceful. A little play area for children was in the garden, that I hadn't seen in photos online.

They unfortunately didn't have a menu available for food, due to just having had a new kitchen fitted. But did advise to great nearby places as an alternative or that we could order food to their establishment. However not needed in the end!

Fantastic breakfast and evening meal - very reasonably priced and delicious. The shower was excellent with good hot water and clean bed sheets and towels. The staff were extremely friendly. Handy for NEC. Great value for money Great parking facilities

Whilst its not the most luxurious room for the price we paid along with he convenient location you get what you paid for. The rooms are small and basic - take some earplugs and you will not hear noise of others! New management have recently taken over and I have no doubt improvements will continue.

Lovely staff, clean rooms, excellent value for money, comfortable beds and absolutely fantastically strong showers. Check-in was friendly, simple and quick.

The pub did seem to get quite loud on a Saturday night, but luckily, the room we stayed in was far enough away from the main room that it wasn't much of a bother. Also, the bathroom door didn't lock, which was quite unfortunate. That said, it was still a very comfortable stay despite these issues, and the only real complaint we had was the distance to the NEC, as we were staying to attend a weekend event (that's partially on me, though, for not checking the location properly!)

Clean and comfortable, staff were lovely and friendly.

There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room nor glasses, for a drink, but staff were very helpful got glasses and iced water. All the mirrors had smears on needed buffing. Would make a huge difference to how the place looks.

The staff were so lovely and had great chats. We went to a concert and were unable to get a taxi for 1.5 hours, so I rang the hotel for help on local taxis and they helped us all night, which I was so thankful for! The room is bog standard, you get what it says! Super clean as you could smell it walking in. Fresh towels and soaps were provided

It would have been nice for some glasses or even a kettle for a cuppa in the room

The staff were so friendly and kind. Paula has only had this for a short time and it is Spotless and its of fun. I am definitely planning on going there to stay again for longer next time, as it's so close to all attractions. Extremely reasonably priced. Easy check in and out nice beer garden big car park. Rooms are massive. Fresh towels provided.

No kettle or cups in guest rooms.

Bar areas nice, mostly friendly staff, comfortable beds and very convenient as attending a family party in the function room. Despite comments below we had a good time.

Rooms weren’t good at all, no light in en suite in one room, door didn’t lock in another, blind hanging off window in another. No hot water in 3 bed room and very cold in room itself. Not the cleanest, lots of cobwebs everywhere but beds were spotless. Men’s public loos weren’t clean but ladies were ok. Not particularly organised when allocating rooms and who’d booked what within our large party.

The Staff were lovely and the room was clean. Check in was easy too. Location was good, and a large carpark. 24hr access to the room etc via side door was also super handy as the place is also a pub/bar

I think that the room needs updated a bit. The bed seemed to be lower at the edges and the walls were clean but need a bit of upkeep (several holes from shelving etc).

Only thing I didnt like about my stay was there was no tea making facilities or classes I'm my room .which I feel is a must for a hotel room especially if u have been to a party at the hotel.
