The car park was large. The Rooms were large and comfy. The Hotel was warm and the food was plentiful and delicious. Entertainment was good and well organised. The Hotel as nicely decorated with Christmas decorations and trees. Evening Menu was available. Snacks sold at the bar during the day also.We arrived to a complementary box of shortbread/fudge in our room.
Staff could have been more friendlier, not even a good morning was said from the breakfast staff. Coffee/tea/milk in the rooms were the cheapest version and sparse. The grounds were overgrown and unkept with weeds in the carpark and garden. Ashtrays overflo0wing outside by the back door and cigarette butts on the floor near the back door.

For a last minute break between Xmas and New Year with the dog that included parking this was perfect. For what we paid, we was happy with what we got. Room was clean, warm and comfy. On NYE we was able to join the Gala entertainment to see the New Year in. I had the pool to myself the day I used it, it wasn’t too cold, and changing rooms were warm too. Was about 10mins to the beach, and then about 40mins to walk along to the pier and to see the Christmas lights. Lots of other reviews mentioned temperature… we were able to adjust the heating dials and open windows/balcony door to maintain it to how we wanted (so wasn’t too hot or too cold for us). Other reviews also mentioned the rooms being dated, yes the room we was in was dated but this wasn't a problem for us, we just wanted somewhere clean for us and the dog in Bournemouth. And finally, there were also reviews complaining about staff, we had no issues with the staff, all of the ones we met were friendly and attentive. Only staff we heard complain were the cleaners and that was just because their hoover had been moved from where they left it the day before. I would visit this hotel again if I were to return to Bournemouth.
The last minute rush to find ID to take with me as it was needed for check in (no real explanation from staff as to why or why it couldn’t be my partners ID). Upon booking I requested a dog friendly room (we was put 2nd floor furthest point away which wasn’t ideal for toileting 😂) I received a email to say no charge, but upon arrival charged £25 with a list of what we could and couldn’t do and charges if we didn’t. Which is understandable, but I would have preferred to receive consistent information.

The room was clean. The hotel was nice and spacious. Staff were friendly. Night reception were kind and helpful as I had to park my car far even to bring my luggage in and they were kind in keeping the door open for me. The bed was incredibly comfortable to sleep in.
I wasnt able to park in the car park over the 3 nights I was there as it was full. I had to find a space outside which was always a bit far. I couldnt open my bedroom door fully as the door would be restrained by the bed. Room was a bit tight but I did book a single room and it was a last minute booking so I was just grateful I had a nice and clean room to sleep in.

We stayed for one more night as we liked this place. Most of our experience I described in my previous feedback. I only add what I forgot. So it’s very nice to have a good breakfast in the morning (for additional money). And live music in the evenings was great. Additional love - it’s a pool (mostly for children as it is small but my son was happy) 😊
One more thing that I forgot - drunk people at the entrance (one pair was a little bit aggressive; we were waiting our food delivery and when I spoke with my driver they came and named their names and tried to take our food, the driver said “No, it’s not yours” but they continued to say their names like they were absolutely sure that it was their food; it was dangerously as I was standing myself).

Family Standard room was much better than Standard. There was cleaner, more ventilation and fresh air. Besides we found coffee/tea/milk/sugar on the table, it was nice :) Also we liked a free parking. But as for me I would prefer to pay for my booked place and to have a possibility to park wherever you back to the hotel.
We had not enough sockets (we unplugged the TV for charging phone or boil water. Free parking is good but if you catch a place then you go around the town and to the beach by legs because if go by car you never catch a place again (only if you are super lucky) 😁

Room-spacious and on suite, with comfortable bed Breakfast-didn't make it either day as catching up on sleep and nice and quiet to do so, so great Bed-see previous answer, great and comfortable room all round, too good to get up for breakfast
Nothing, busy because of Bournemouth Air Show-which somehow I had not realised, but staff well organised and coped with large influx very well-very busy obviously but no adverse affect to us at all and we parked on their site during stay

We loved the room it was really spacious. The bed was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was really good and the pool was a lovely way to end a busy day with a lovely leisurely swim. Some guest reviews said the furniture is old and tired, some of it is, but surely it's better to have a clean, comfortable homely room rather than a white sterile cold room. We will be back again.
There were no signs to indicate where the pool was. It would have been nice to have some info in the room such as breakfast timings etc. We were a little surprised that the underfloor heating was on in the middle of July.

The hotel was more suited to older clientelle but we still found it fitting as a family visit. The decor was a mixture of "old style" hotel but had flashes of modernisation mixed in. Overall we found it quite lovely and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. It was also in a good location close to the seafront. They even had a prom going on jn the function room; although at the beginning the car park got a bit jammed up it did not affect our stay and we did not hear anything from the event either!
Some of the fittings and tiles in the bathrooms were broken/ poorly replaced but this did not affect our stay.

Although check in was 3pm we were allowed to use the car park at 10 am as we were already in Bournemouth. Rooms are a little outdated but it is a very old building. The bed's mattress was hard but that is too my preference so slept very well. I only stayed for one night as I extended my holiday one more day and had to switch to this hotel as the one I was staying in wanted £95.00 for the night. Booking.com provided this one for £43.00. There is entertainment on every night.
One of the male bar staff could do with lessons in customer service. He got my order wrong and still insisted he was right despite the previous customer telling him he had just served her the same drink. He could also do with lessons in smiling because he isn't very good at it.

We stayed here for a night to catch a ferry in Poole early the next day. The room and hotel was good for the price and I was happy with my stay. The en-suite bathroom was absolutely fine with bath and shower working well. It was clean. I liked the bar and the simple food at a good price. They also do a 3 course meal in the dining room but I just wanted a toasty and crisps and it was fine. The place was fairly busy as I got there about the time a conference or reunion or something was coming to an end. I loved the atmosphere in this old-school hotel with the people around and having a nice time.
The car park was full but the hotel was busy that day. Good on them I say. I found on street parking very nearby in the residential area so no big deal. The main light in the room is really bright! It's too bright. Normally I wouldn't care but the table lamp didn't work so I used the bathroom light and the door open in the evening. No big deal, just fix the lights in room 147, ta.
