I booked a single room and was expecting a single bed as per pictures, but was given a room with a double bed, and the room itself was larger than I was expecting. Although the furniture was out dated it was a pleasant and airy room to stay in. The room + en-suite was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I slept very well. The shower was excellent. The TV had a good quality picture and sound. The curtains were heavy enough to keep the room dark at night. The hotel car park was full but there was ample on-street parking in the wide tree-lined road where the hotel is located. It's a nice location.
There wasn't anything I disliked enough to comment on. Few things in life are perfect.

I was blown away by the dinner and the gluten free alternatives and the amazing caring smiley fun staff thst took care of my every need Much better then the awful pub food in the premier inn considering the price a miracle The house manager who did the flea img was always smiley and the staff had good sense of humour abd were great fun too The Red head in the kitchen stood out for her attentive attitude to me always able to provide me with an amazing gluten free desert I felt very taken care of Wouid have never have got such a good meal with my allergies in the town . Really impressed Saved my life through not going anywhere in the awful weather as well as they had gf bread again not always present anywhere else. Thanks you
The WiFi wasn’t in rooms and I couid let her the premium as my mobile data only worked in the evening for sone reason

staff overall friendly but objected to dog in restaurant There was no need to be quite so 'well we shouldve expected it'. I asked the question of you, could we bring our dog? when i booked, but found the hotel didnt even know we had a dog. We had to have breakfast in entertainment area was reason we could not eat main meal in hotel so they lost out on several cost of double mea there. The room had mud on carpet, and poo? on outside wall, not ours, the ceiling wallpaper was put up by a non caring numpty and hanging off due to haste of erection. not thick enough glue, and too much weight of paint on it. you could see used to have a central ceiling light but had been changed to a round wall light. cheap enough stay, The skirting fixings was atrocious big gaps. gaps in tiling in bathroom unfinished possibly no anti silicone gripfil had been used. paint very worn in places wall paint had been put on by a numpty, who didnt have the sense to take off the wall fixtures no architraves, or wood panelling in room. paint knocks. Elsewhere eg the bar area wood panelling not taped with blue contact tape before paint applied or tape they used bled through. done in a rush by a not very good tradesman. No phone found in room yet advertised by you, TV a bit small. It took me 3 days to realise the container in bathroom was for liquid soap - or how to work it. 'Toiletries' therefore amounted to small piece of soap and a toilet roll. God i used to be a hall porter - was none available, I know what sells and it aint rubbish. The people inexperienced Id say. Also prancing catemite waiter. Possible prostitutes in bar area, I dont know if doing any trade? I have nothing other than my suspicions. but, Police came to visit 2nd or 3rd day, I dont know if routine, I wonder if manager aware - seemed to also be possible that illegals might have been used, mostly foreign staff. I became ill 2nd evening woke up very dizzy ok by next mid day couldve been my ears.
as above price ok, staff friendly.

Pretty much everything it was a lovely place to stay. It’s so nice to find a nice hotel I can visit with my dog which is close to all amenities and that I would definitely return to. Also, we were a large party of 7 and the dining/breakfast staff did their best to accommodate us and to get a children’s meal for my so he didn’t have to eat alone nor did we have to wait for him to eat.
The only criticism I have is that although I didn’t expect the towels and bedding to be changed daily I was surprised that the housekeeping team didn’t go in daily to empty the bin, replenish the tea tray etc.

Brilliant location for us to come & go with ample free parking on the road nearby. Lovely big family room and firm but comfortable beds. The hotel was perfect for a budget night away with the added bonus of a warm swimming pool AND the dog was welcome! Can't comment on breakfast or dinners because we ate elsewhere, but the bar/restaurant seemed busy.
Hotel decor was tired (some peeling paint etc) but our room was lovely and clean, so this was really not a problem. Lobby looked like it needed a hoover.

Staff excellent - very hard working and very good, It was good to see the friendliness of a large Asian family and others as well - a very friendly place
The shower stayed cold a long time. although the water in the hand sink was nice and warm. The lift was somewhat noisy - at least I think it was the lift; however it did work well. Perhaps the waste bins could have been emptied after say two days. but the room could have been left as it was. Also I didn't notice the softer pillows in the wardrobe - I might have slept better I had noticed them earlier.

Me and my partner booked The Carrington as Temptations Swingers Club is just around the corner. Perfect location for local swingers on the scene, and more than accommodating hotel for extra friends. A very wide and comfy bed, fit for more than 2 people. Easily accessible to the outside world; almost as if someone from Grindr could just walk on in...
They knew we were swingers and put us in the furthest room away.

short walk from Boscome beach though the pretty Boscombe chime gardens. Spacious rooms, we had a basement room and it had a window that opened which was good as it was a v hot night! As we arrived early we used a locker which was v spacious but was an extra £4. The shower was lovely and powerful.
very late check in (4pm) and early check out (10am) make a one night stay not as good value as other places in bmouth. In the room the were tea/coffee making facilities, but would suggest that complementary water bottles would be a good addition as this is standard in some 3 star hotels in bmouth. Our bed was two joined together which was spacious, however the was a ridge where the beds join so could do with matress topper to make it more comfy!

Room was big, comforty bed, more update bath. The rooms can be so much like a lottery, I stay here over 20 times, pretty very good stay for the money, staff are friednly and helpful, room can be again like a lottery, this one was room 3, which was very good, comfory and quite. If you looking for 5 star, dont come, if your looking update and modern dont come, bonus is a swimming pool, bar, pool table.
The worse thing they have done is the wifi, pretty much wanting you pay for it, you only get near the bar, or lucky to have a room above or near reception.
