The room was lovely, great bay window and comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was excellent and so it was the dinner. Excellent Chef in there! I didn’t expect such an excellent quality food in there as the hotel restaurant is not in the list of good restaurants in the area. I was delighted!
The water system is very unstable. I guess is a very old fashion system but it would go from warm to hot! I took a lovely jacuzzi-bath but when I rinsed my hair at the end I run out of warm water, it was freezing cold water, couldn’t get hot water anymore!

The room was superb! Room 20 on the first floor. We appreciated that they fulfilled a special request for a lower floor. Location is perfect, quiet but in the town centre and on the front of the loch Breakfast was good with a healthy choice and service was friendly and efficient Check in..quick, easy and informative We had a bar meal..pizza was excellent and a reasonable price. Bar service was first class
It's a shame there is no lift for those who need it. We managed the 2 flights of stairs to the first floor but I can't imagine the problems we would have had if we hadn't been given a first floor room

We have booked the Imperial room (which is very big) and Master room (decent size) , both bathrooms have large jaccuzi tabs. however the prices are high but those were the only rooms left when we book. In hindsight, can just drive through Fort William town and no need to stay over night to save on hotels as there is nothing to do in that town other than a tiny museum. The staff did try to accommodate our needs and gave us two rooms next to each other, also gave us an extra duvet for the kids. We ate dinner there and the India food at their restaurant is very good, we didn't try the Italian food. Breakfast was included which was also good.
The water pumps at the hotel are very noisy and frequent, every time when someone showers or flush upstairs or nearby , you near loud noises. Also there were some drunk kids outside in the parking or streets nearby at night, quite noisy, windows are not sound proof. There are no elevators and you have to carry your suitcases up 2 to 3 flight of stairs.

Staff were polite and welcoming. Our room wasn't ready by the time we arrived, which was after the time we'd been told in the booking email. After an hour, we were given an upgrade to another room. Food in the bar was good, although my order came out wrong, I got pork instead of gammon. Beer was reasonably priced in the bar. The bed was comfy and clean.
The bath in the room was stained, and taps were corroded, the wall paper was coming away in places and some of the furniture was a bit dusty, there was a big cobweb hanging down off the ceiling. The windows weren't soundproofed, and the road outside was very noisy until late. The room name on the door had a letter missing, which made it look a bit uncared for.

1. Location. It's close to the bus stops and other establishments. Just a few minutes walk. 2. Clean, comfy, and big room compared to a typical single room. I was glad I got a superior single room (with twin beds). It felt comfortable moving around with a decent and bigger bathroom/toilet. 3. Excellent room service. I was always out early in the morning til evening time but I appreciated that my room was being taken care of. Though my room was tidy enough, I noticed that my coffee, milk, shampoo/condition, etc were being refilled daily and some things were back into place.
1. Shower. The pressure of the water coming out from the shower was too weak. I'm just glad there was a bath tub. 2. No lift. Staff will be there to assist you if you need assistance in carrying your things to your room. It's not a problem for me even though my room was located on the 2nd floor. However, using the stairs every day after a full day hike was a challenge. Lol. 3. A bit of noise from people walking outside the room.

Very helpful receptionist...she stored our luggage on early arrival and after checkout the next day, ordered a taxi to take us to the Gondola at Nevis centre . Good breakfast. Large comfortable bed and large room size. Double glazed window kept early evening traffic noise out. Clean and well presented room and bathroom.
The bath did not have a safety grab rail on the wall to grab when climbing in to use the shower. I think this should be provided in hotels to assist everyone not just guests with mobility issues. The very large , stylish glass screen was in a fixed position so it could not be moved to gain space for getting into the shower area over the bath.

A very good location right in the heart of the shopping precinct of Fort William, yet quiet and overlooking the Loch and with its own car park. The hotel could do with a bit of TLC and modernisation but it was comfortable enough for our 3 night stay. The on site restaurant was very good and breakfast was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Location was good. We were booked on the Jacobite Steam Train and although being disabled I was able to take a very slow walk to station. Breakfast was good. Freshly cooked plus could help yourself to fruit juice, cereal etc
Jacuzzi bath was chipped and scratched and bathroom was roughly finished. Asked for steak pie and mashed potatoes .Got boiled potatoes and cauliflower that was solid. Had to take it away then wait on fresh. Other than that a nice hotel

Wonderfully thoughtful and considerate receptionist. Made it easy for my husband and I. Gave my 90 year old dad a room next to us with a walk in shower. The restaurant had extensive menus…the choice of fixed price 3 course meals was excellent. The food was well cooked and presented…what a pleasure to have fresh cooked vegetables…..one night we all had beef casserole and it melted in the mouth…… This hotel really is a hidden gem…just what we needed.
The mattress was not very comfortable we could feel the springs and the bottom sheet needed to be fitted or bigger so it tucked in Around the mattress.

Although no lifts room was easily accessible and on the first floor , room was clean and warm plenty of outlets for electrical devices remember to take a mains plug charger as no USB outlets , nice to have an alarm clock in the room with large digital display . not may hotels have a clock in the rooms . Good choice of food for an evening meal and reasonable prices .
had a bath plenty of hot water , but alas the shower was not as hot as i would have liked , bath with shower was good and gave the choice of either one .
