Good room size, great shower/cubicle, brilliant bed which I think was Queen sized. Good steam iron and ironing board available in room. Good sized television with various channel options. Fantastic helpful and cheery staff, especially receptionists and breakfast servers.

On entry to the hotel having to walk through the eating and bar area to get to reception which is all open plan. Only had 1 available drawer containing a hairdryer. All other storage space was openly accessible. More suited for business travellers than leisure. We also had to ask for our room to be cleaned as this was initially adhoc and the bin was left full, used glasses and mugs and the bed were not changed. But all sorted by one of the receptionists. Also, additional payment for parking.

The hotel was ideally located for the places we wanted to visit. It was located next to a supermarket but there weren't many places to eat and drink nearby. The centre of high wycombe was a short drive away, though. I would recommend walking as although it's a short walk, it is all downhill with not many safe crossing places and is uphill all the way back, which is steep. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. Breakfast was good and plenty avaliable. It was an ideal place to stay. Staff were super friendly and accommodating and could not fault them.

Not in easily walking distance for the centre as it is at the top of a steep hill. The pillows in the rooms were very soft and not what I was used too so I did have a sore neck, but this is just personal preference.

Came for a convention on … brilliant service by all Staff I saw . Lovely and modern - room excellent! Had single beds - big tv , kettle / fridge , room to move about . Clean and no issues - I usually have my wheelchair but left in car . No problems parking , taking bags in . Food near by easy in car for dinner . Breakfast options was excellent! I was naughty had a few little cakes / coffee and a small hot breakfast… They had a waffle machine !! Next time I will try that Can’t fault it was excellent value , even had half a beer in evening downstairs , to socialise a bit . Hope a manager sees this - the staff / team you have are excellent-

Maybe have a bookshelf / games … Would like to open windows in hotel room a small window but understand could be a health and safety issues ..

June 2023

We stayed for four nights in June 2023, partly for business but mainly to explore Oxford and the surrounding attractions. It was a great experience. There was some initial confusion - we had been allocated an Accessible Room, possibly because I had indicated that I am deaf and was bringing my Assistance Hearing Dog with me. The room was not fully to our liking, not least because of all the equipment in the shower / toilet area, which I do not need. When we explained this, the staff at Reception, especially Ella and Sarah, were very helpful and arranged a swap of rooms, which was much appreciated. Everything else was perfect. Lovely, clean, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. As we expect from Hampton by Hilton. The location is great, just off the motorway, with parking available, a supermarket within walking distance, and the bus interchange on doorstep, which has regular twenty minute link to railway station (and also to airports). We will be back!

The room was adequate in size for the short stay, good air con, good sized comfy bed, very fluffy pillows. Helpful to have an iron & ironing board in the room to refresh clothes as necessary. Adequate hanging space, small fridge & safe if needed in the room. Usual refreshment tray with top ups available from reception. (No hot chocolate sachets though!!) Self service breakfast was really tasty, so much to choose from. Most helpful & personable staff both at reception and at breakfast. The spacious ground floor area where the reception is, as well as the breakfast area, was very well laid out, giving good space between tables of different sizes & heights. Adequate parking but facilities in the Park & Ride carpark opposite reception available if necessary. The location was set between the M40 and the A404, both busy roads, but the sound proofing was great. Ideally situated for people who travel by coach or bus as the Park & Ride is on the doorstep with buses going to & fro to the airports & Oxford etc. Waitrose supermarket within 200yds. Leisure centre within walking distance.

Due to the type of window in the bedroom there was no way of opening it, which could cause a problem for some folk. For us the TV was too large for the room, probably fine for younger folk!

The room was big, open and fresh decor. Felt new and pleasant to spend time in. The shower was large and powerful and the mini-frig to keep my own drinks and food was a pleasant surprise. Giant TV and reasonable plug sockets for charging. Decent AirCon that cooled the room relatively quickly.

As with all Hampton by Hiltons, i find the beds not the comfiest. They are reasonable, but the joining of duvans to make a double vrs. a twin room is never great, also the pillows look fluffy - but have little substance and often wonder whats the point of them as they provide little support.

I liked that the hotel was able to accommodate my request for a quiet room on the top floor. I liked the size of the room and the size of the bed. I liked that the room was very clean and comfortable. I liked that the reception staff were extremely helpful and enthusiastic. I liked that they had choice at breakfast time. Breakfast was good, lots of choice but some of the younger staff seemed overwhelmed. The way that breakfast is laid out can make for a stressful start to the day, in my opinion. This is down to design rather than the hotel staff - when there's 50 people all trying to get into a tight space it shows the problem. Food was hot and fresh and the staff were trying very hard - couldn't fault the food or enthusiasm in any way.

Although booking through Booking.com at a set rate and paying the amount before arriving at the hotel, throughout the night the hotel tried to charge me again for a higher rate. 3 or 4 times. I believe this is a miscommunication between Booking.com and Hamptons by Hilton, but either way it wasn't something i was expecting. When i spoke to the reception staff about this in the morning they were very helpful and just as confused. If i had allowed for money to be in my travel account, money would have been taken although i had already paid, and we all know how long it takes to get refunds back to us. The staff were as helpful as they could be and asked me to contact booking.com.

An excellently functional hotel with good, efficient and friendly staff. It does what it says on the tin, so to speak. If you are ok with a standard international corporate type hotel, with a comfortable bed and everything you need in the room then this ticks all the boxes. The breakfast is generous and plentiful. Good carparking, but you do need car as it is slightly out on a limb, but only 1.5 miles from the centre of High Wycombe and about 5-6 miles form Marlow. There is a big Waitrose about 100 metres away.

Not at all a criticism but this is a Hilton hotel so if it is chic, with atmosphere you want then this is not the place!

Great location right next to the M40 junction, so great for getting away quickly and on the road in the morning. Food available although I had already eaten so didn't eat there. Also had a bar with a good selection of beers, although £6.50 a pint was a bit steep. If it had been cheaper I might have had 2 rather than 1. Excellent HOT buffet breakfast with good sausages, bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, beans, mushrooms etc. and is was self-service so you could go back for seconds if you wanted. there was also yoghurt, cheese, sliced meats, bread for toast, croissants etc. too if you wanted them instead.

Location was good for travelling, but being near the motorway junction meant it wasn't in/near the town of High Wycombe, so if you wanted to eat or look round shops you would have to drive about 2 miles down into High Wycombe. It was fine for me, I just wanted somewhere to sleep for the night in a clean, comfy bed so it was perfect but the location might not suit everyone.

I stay here quite often for work. A really nice new hotel. Very clean. Staff always pleasant and helpful. The rooms are really modern and comfortable. Good beds.

The wall paper facing the running machines in the gym is weird. It makes you feel like the room is at an angle and throws you off balance on the running machine. The car park is at the rear of the hotel and you have to walk around to the front of the hotel to get in. There is a door at the back where the car park is but I think its a fire escape. This should be made available to get into the property. Not a big problem, but would be when its raining hard.
