breakfast - good selection. grounds - beautiful. nice areas to sit on deck. location - perfect for starting walks by river, etc, attractive old village, with nice pubs. all staff very helpful and pleasant

rooms rather small. music at breakfast time - unnecessary and too loud and disco like. We had been informed a short while before our stay that there would be a party on the Saturday evening and that we could cancel our booking if we wished. Rather inconvenient and difficult to do so at short notice. Luckily we stayed out until it was just finishing but if we had wanted to sit in the lounge/bar/restaurant, this would have been impossible and loud music would have precluded sitting in the garden. Same thing during Friday with family fun day and loud thumpy music.

Facilities, ambience. Value for money. It was advertised as a 'small double room' in Estate Agent speak read 'VERY small double room'. We were expecting a shoebox and were pleasantly surprised not only with the the size of the room but the facilities (en-suite bathroom/shower, tea making, fan, chair and small desk,TV etc). Breakfast was included but for the price paid we were expecting 'continental breakfast'. The reality was a full English 'help yourself' comprehensive breakfast buffet. We liked the continental casual open air seating and dining areas amongst the gardens and rippling ponds.

complicated route from reception and/or car park to room (many different staircases and ramps - not good for ageing limbs) - but well signposted. No assistance with luggage (we didn't need any, but noticed others lugging suitcases along this up and down route). Early checkout time, 9.30 am weekdays/10am weekends.

Clean, comfortable room. Really good breakfast included. Plenty of parking on-site Lovely surroundings We were pre-warned about a function with music happening in the hotel on the night we stayed and that it would finish at midnight - which it did 🙂

We can’t really fault anything, we booked a small double and that’s exactly what we got. We had to squeeze around the bottom of the bed to get into the bathroom. Not a problem for us but may be for older/larger or less mobile guests. Water pressure in rainfall shower was quite low. Neither of these points are major as we were only there for 1 night and certainly would not put us off booking again.

the grounds are delightful plenty of space to sit in the garden or the bar/lounge and access to nice tea and coffee. the rooms were very quiet when I went, and I had no noise disturbance at all, I even had my windows open as it was very hot. there was no road noise that disturbed me either. The breakfast was amazing. Continental options and an extremely good quality buffet cooked breakfast.

The room has only a small gap between the bed and the bathroom door which mat it a bit tricky for a C larger person to navigate. The bathroom seemed very hot for some reason in the height of summer. But I closed the door and opened the windows and got a nice breeze through. a fan was provided with each room and it was useful.

Arrived very late at night and the man on reception was really welcoming and gave us really helpful instructions to get to the room. Staff at breakfast were also very friendly. Towels very soft and the bed was comfortable. Fan was a welcomed addition to the room. The view was lovely especially the Koi pond. Windows opened wide in the room which was great especially in the heat.

shower was a bit temperamental in terms of temperature and shower head needs de-scaling. Signs could be clearer from the car park as to how to get to reception late at night.

For the price of £171 total (2 people double room 2 nights b and b) given the location was v good. The staff were all lovely and welcoming and very helpful during our stay: reception; breakfast staff and the cleaners. Also great to be able to open the window, plus we were helpfully roomed near the disabled parking area. Thank you.

It was ckear in the booking that it was a small double but at times it felt v small and a bit claustrophobic. It helped that we could open a window though. Bathrooms without windows always feel a bit stuffy.

The room was small but it clearly stated it when booking and for a couple of nights it was perfect. The grounds were beautiful especially in the sun. My partner and I spent all evening playing pool and drinking at the bar in the hotel but went out for dinner at the pub across the road and there were plenty of options for food and drink. The breakfast the next morning was great, the pastries and fruit was nice and my partner had the english breakfast which he was over the moon about! Some other reviews said the food was cold but we went towards the end of service and all the food was heated right through and all tasted great.

The only issue I had was there was only one towel in our bathroom, and I heard someone else mention it, maybe something to look at

Nice big shower despite the change of temperature. Clean large bathroom. Tea and coffee available in room, however, a decaf option would be good for the evening. Lovely breakfast buffet included with a wide variety of food and drinks available. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Slightly awkward to get to but when there lots of on site free parking available. Quite loud party happening until about midnight and as it was hot and we needed the window open, which made it even louder. The shower kept swinging from extremely hot to warm.

Moor Hall's staff were wonderful. They were polite and very welcoming! We stayed for a weekend and the hotel and surrounding buildings remained clean, tidy and quiet throughout. The room was tidy, clean and the facilities were great. Plenty of parking, clear directions and help across the complex and a welcoming bar and social areas. For the price we paid, having breakfast Included we would happily stay again!

The bed was very standard, basic mattress and a single flat pillow, 2 between us. The bathroom has seen better days, with the details needing a bit of tlc. The shower strangely struggled to maintain a constant temperature and would rise and fail between temperatures without prompt.

The Breakfast and facilities were excellent exceptional and met with all the requirements . There were excellent facilities for soft and hot drinks . The staff were friendly accommodating and readily available to help at all times. The accommodation facility was set out in a very large plot pf land with ample lots of space for everything , walking , entertaining and close to local facilities and shops. Things are well organised and will always use this place again and spread the word to everyone. Excellent value for money.

Nothing really . Things were made clear and very straightforward . There CCTV in the building for public safety.
