Room was excellent and staff friendly / helpful . The establishment is situated in the grounds of an Abbey and next to the Thames. Very tranquil /

Bathroom light went out twice whilst showering. I was on my own at the time. I could not leave the bathroom as we had been advised that the steam would set the alarm off. Upon opening the shower door the light came on. Also the floor was slippy and there was nowhere to place the soap/shampoo. It had to be placed on the floor. As a 72 year old fit person I still felt vulnerable. These issues were reported to reception. Staff were concerned, especially in regards to the light going out.

Great facilities and great parking. Staff super helpful and friendly. Room was really big and super accessible. The inspiring sporting achievements on the walls were also really great especially the night before a triathlon.

Breakfast is only 8-9.30 so I missed out as had to leave at 7.30. The staff were great though and sorted me a packed lunch to take with me to my triathlon. The double bed was pointless as it was two singles put together and the middle part kept separating. The bed was also really low

Lovely area and nice grounds. Room was spacious. Breakfast was very nice. Staff were lovely and friendly. Linen nice and clean. Great facilities on offer sport wise.

We did book last minute but wasnt aware we were getting a disabled accessible room. Thats not an issue but the bed was very low to get down onto and off. Within the wet room/ bathroom, the low shower worked fine but was too low for one party member. The higher shower was a trickle. Toilet area flooded quickly when shower was in use, took a long time to clear.

Breakfast was really good, and better than you'd expect from the photos of the room. My room was quiet as I'd asked. I chose the hotel as I know it from my daughter playing hockey in years gone by and knew it had an excellent gym, which didn't disappoint. I felt a less glamorous room was a reasonable compromise. As it was, I had a really comfortable sleep in a massive bed (two singles with a super king duvet), fresh air and was on the ground floor. I took my own pillow which I was glad of. The venue itself was very motivational with lots of sporty and enthusiastic people either staying or using the facilities.

My room wasn't cleaned after my first night and I was staying two nights. I guess the expectation is staying in a hotel this would happen. Oddly, I was given new towels, despite not needing any and following their guidance of only needing new towels if existing ones were put in the shower. Having new towels means they knew I was staying two nights but still didn't clean my room. Also, I rung the hotel soon after leaving on my middle day to say I'd left my radiator on - I was worried for the environment and probably unnecessarily, fire safety. I was told that housekeeping would turn it off and it wasn't, and left on for 8 hours.

Great location, beautiful gardens around the abbey to the river bank and just a 15min walk to Marlow. Breakfast was fabulous. Restaurant and rooms were attractive, light and clean. Felt very safe there and very quiet.

Would have liked to have known how to open the window wider. The instructions for parking for accommodation were odd- took you right round in a circle. Our bed wasn’t made after first night- that’s fine but we didn’t know that would be the case. Water was also not replenished and it was really hot weather- over 30 degrees. With no air conditioning, I do feel water should have been supplied.

You can’t go wrong £73 for an overnight which includes breakfast and use of the gym on. Friday night. Cheaper than a taxi to Marlow and back. It’s about a 20 minute walk into Marlow a bit dark in evening but no problem. The gym is great as well all the latest kit I. There and the breakfast covered all the bases. Friendly and helpful staff as well. And lots of facts about the sporting history including some just over your bed.

Friendly and helpful staff, especially at breakfast with Nicky(?) and the chef offering me vegan options with no stress and a friendly smile. Cleaners and reception staff also cheery and helpful. Clean room and a great location with a short walk to the River Thames.

Can't think of anything. Maybe doors slamming at night but that's the same for any hotel and I'm a light sleeper so I've only got to hear the slightest sound and I'm awake!

It was all new and very clean . It had everything we needed for a nights stay . Comfortable beds , tea & coffee , kettle , tv , etc Staff were friendly and helpful. We managed to check in a bit earlier too. Loved watching the tennis playing on the courts . We walked into Marlow on our last day 15 minutes ( it was pouring down the dat we arrived so drove in ) and we did a circular walk from the property through Bisham woods and up to Winter Hill . Breakfast was great too - buffet style to help yourself from a full cooked breakfast , cereals , fresh fruit , yogurt , cheese and meats etc . Great value for money . Free parking . I would definitely go back again .
