I thought I had booked a twin room with two beds for my son and I. I arrived to find a double bed. Not sure who's error it was as I couldn't see it on my booking receipt from Booking.com. I was offered a family room which was very basic which I turned down and said I would work around the double bed situation as there weren't any more twin rooms left. She offered me an alternative, which was taking a single bed out of a spare room which I agreed to but only of she didn't mind. She was happy about it and said she was willing to do this. She carried a bed base and mattress and clean bedding and placed it in my room. This was brilliant. She went above and beyond to make me happy and not embarrass my son by making him share my bed. She didn't have to do this. I am really happy with the hospitality of all the staff I have spoken to during my stay. Such lovely people. Thank you to them all.

Breakfast was excellent as we were served by a female member of staff who was very helpful in every way. Parking was easy, and it was a nice easy walk to the local pub. Many thanks for our stay. We were also impressed by the cost of the accommodation.

Perhaps the only downside was the bar and the restaurant were closed due to covid. Will look forward to staying there in the future,and it might be better if there were more road signs to the hotel.

Since my last visit before lockdown the hotel seems to have improved. At first I was a little apprehensive of returning but the room that I stayed in last time has been redecorated and modernised .I was given a better standard of room than requested which was very pleasing .The staff on the reception was also polite and courteous even though I checked in at nearly midnight and was exhausted and crabby with myself . Breakfast the following morning gave me a good start to the day . I will definitely come back again .

We thought there was breakfast but when we got there there was no cooked food so it was just continental breakfast. The restaurant was advertise but not open again Dawn helped by giving us a local takeaway details. Also the bar wasn't available.

Very friendly , helpful staff. Room clean and comfortable Breakfast good. Security cameras . "Thank you for the music" Tony, you're a real super trouper. Good value for money money money.

Great location. Lovely grounds. Plenty of parking. Dawn is a great asset to the hotel. She is extremely thoughtful, helpful and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room I was in was a bit small, but sufficient fore one person. The location couldn't have been better with beautiful gardens and lots of trees, but only 2 miles from the center of town.

Nice independent hotel ideal for a night out in Batley. Very friendly and helpful staff and we enjoyed staying at the Healey House. The room was clean and quiet and nice bar area and dining room too.

Nothing. It was as expected.

Bar was really cosy and staff willing to open late so we could have a few more drinks. Bed very comfy and all facilities met expectations.

There were no tea mugs in our room so we were unable to have a brew before checking out

Really peaceful location, a generous size room with very comfortable bed, jacuzzi bath and a T.V. that worked perfectly. Staff were friendly & helpful.... I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again :)
