All the receptionist were very polite and professional especially Rachael, They presented a atmosphere that nothing was too much trouble, The Housekeepers were very polite and very officiant Evening meal was very good and fairly priced. Breakfast staff were outstanding 10/10 for the Chef's Breakfast was one of the best we have had from hotels we have stayed in. could not fault anything. Bed so comfortable, Shower was hot and powerful all toiletries supplied a bonus, TV plenty of channels, nice size Tv for the room. Tea coffee supplied. Room well thought.

The only thing was there was a wedding reception and all we could here was the loud base but come 9pm all stopped so this was not a negative after all. and went on to enjoy the chill night we had planned, and we hope the married couple all the best.

Location was convenient. Lots of parking. Dog friendly.

No rear entrance from the car park, no pavement to the entrance. Function room was in full swing, floor was vibrating. The guests from the function has their buffet in another room causing them to block the corridor. So loud in the function suite that the guests filled the bar area to be able to talk. No link from dining area till too reception so the food was not on the bill. Breakfast was separate and expensive for what it was. It was also quite poor quality and limited options. Evening meal was expensive. One member of staff covering restaurant and bar so service was quite slow (not her fault). She has no idea what an Irish coffee was - lacking Training.

The room was nice . Staff were friendly and helpful .

I asked for room with a bath not given with no explanation. I asked for a table for breakfast by e mail and on my breakfast request and asked again when delivered not even looked into . Remote not working had to ask someone for another but was sorted eventually . Went to bar had to wait for Ice and card machine and when offered cash told no money in the till ? But very helpful staff . Food was nice but delivered cereal without a spoon and my toast was soggy put on top of my breakfast not on a plate and minimal butter . Used to get a teapot when I came it was small things

Really friendly staff, honestly the staff were excellent and deserve to be rewarded - every staff on duty said good morning and have a lovely day when we.left...the guy who checked us in was friendly helpful and nice. The guy on breakfast was friendly, attentive and really good. The room was fresh, clean and the beds super comfortable. The hotel decor was modern and rather stylish...and the breakfast was an unexpected added bonus. Probably the best holiday inn ive stayed at. They know what works and it was great value for money.

The outside looks tired and could do with a few more flowers.

Good value for money - lovely comfortable room, kind and helpful staff, particularly at breakfast when I needed an early start and they brought me some paper to wrap up a bacon butty and a take-away cup for some coffee. The staff were really helpful.

Big gang of smokers outside the hotel standing on the steps and blocking the reception when I arrived. I know it's not the hotel's fault but maybe the staff could ask them not to stand right where people are coming in. I was arriving on my own quite late (10.30pm) and I just wanted to get in to the hotel and get sorted and not have to negotiate around 15 Italian (I think) men (might have enjoyed that when I was younger I guess!).

the receptionist was very pleasant and checked us in promptly. We had a 2 night stay at a very busy time with Christmas parties etc but we had a restful sleep on both nights. The breakfasts were excellent and were replenished often. I will stay here again and recommend to others.

The hotel was easy to get to but the sign at the entrance could be more visual as the entrance is relatively close to a major junction. The tea and coffee were not replaced on the second day but was rectified by asking for some at reception.

Comfortable room for short stays, bathroom was excellent, liquid soap, shower gel, shampoo provided. Tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer provided. Staff were friendly and welcoming, we would happily stay next time we're visiting.

The TV was a bit antiquated, but then we only used it for a short time in the morning. The hairdryer was making strange noises when my wife came to use it. We switched it off & reported it to reception (just one of those things). Beds were on the firm end of the scale, OK for me, not so much my wife.

I liked the attitude of the staff, friendly without being intrusive. I had stayed at the property in September 2021, and the staff in the public areas remembered me - this is not essential, but it improves the overall feel of the stay. I had breakfast each day of my 10 day total stay, it was good, and plentiful each day. I will book again on my next visit to UK.

When I was at the property, the coffee machine seemed to be useless. I would be tempted to throw it in the garbage. It was doubling the workload of the duty staff. The coffee provided in the flasks was fresh, and available!

good location facilities available

wasn’t able to change room size as one person wasn’t able to attend due to been Ill so ended up paying for 3 adults and breakfast whereas only two of us stayed. no refund and also contacted booking.com on this with prior notice to enquire on this. they were to email hotel who said they have not received any emails I also contacted the hotel by my booking but they didn’t do anything to change things for us no rooms were available but no charges dropped so abit disappointed with that. as would have booked double room.

The hotel was in a great location. The reception area and restaurant where newly renovated and looked great. We had 2 rooms was a good size family room amd the other was a little small but still comfortable. We had free parking which was great

We we're on the 1st floor in rooms 102 & 103 and unfortunately there was very horrible smell along that corridor and came in to the rooms.
