Beautiful view. Good breakfast, two bacon and sausage. Comfy bed. Chatty hosts. Lots of flavours of tea and a cafetière for coffee. They put themselves out to accommodate my need for a spread rather than butter and serve haggis for my sister in law.

Though in the countryside we were woken up twice by house noises. We were up at 6 am because of the noises. There was no communal room, we had to play games outside. We felt pushed to eat early for their convenience. Their dog kept escaping and coming to us at breakfast.

Location atop a hill with grand view overlooking Inverness. Beautifully kept lawn and gardens Returning from dinner I hit a curb with my rental card on a Sunday evening. Rental car co performance pathetic. David, the B&B proprietor picked us up. The next morning, with more run-around-from the car company, David drove us back to our car, removed the tire, got it replaced at a local tire company, and remounted it for us. Note: the car had no spare, and no car jack! We were on our way by 11 am. What an angel!!!

Dear David, Deirdre & Pavo This was easily our best B&B experience in our years of traveling together ! Right from the beginning, you were not only responsive and patient with our queries, but also very caring when we finally arrived at the property. The rooms were spick and span, the view was breathtaking, and Pavo was a darling - loved the cuddles. The breakfast was just amazing and we loved the special evening treat (Haggis fan for life now :D) and the outstanding whiskey collection ! It was the perfect holiday, and we thank you a lot for the great hospitality :) . We now know where we'll stay the next time we are at Inverness. PS:- The offer for dinner in Munich still remains ;) . Hope we catch up soon. Regards, Abhirup & Nabanita

Nothing ! It was just a fantastic experience

Breakfast was lovely, room very comfy, dog made very welcome, owners were charming. The other guests were interesting - it was nice breakfasting at the same table - and the owners themselves made great recommendations etc for dinner and things to do.

It was up a hill - so after a long walking holiday this was not top of my list of fun things to do, but you don't get the view without the hill!! The bus service into town was also good.

Stunning views and an absolutely lovely property and grounds. The rooms are large and well appointed, the beds comfortable. Professional hosts, great breakfast in a charming dining room with wonderful views out over the property.

We had a downstairs room in the main house, with a large window with views out to the grounds of the property, which would have been wonderful if it hadn't restricted our privacy since other occupants of the B&B would naturally use the grounds for a walk or a smoke and we felt we needed to keep the curtains drawn when we were in the room.

Wonderful Scottish hospitality. Felt like staying at a family home. Comfortable room, spacious bathroom. Incredible view over Inverness, with a lovely expansive garden with pond, ducks, and dog. The robot lawnmower was really the surprise attraction. Also – most delectable homemade shortbread biscuits I’ve had! Wish I could have taken a crate with me!

Worth being aware that the downstairs room opposite the dining area and garden may not offer as much privacy as some may prefer, but this is part of it being an intimate home style B&B.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Location is good for access to the city centre and surrounding amenities.

Breakfast time was quite limited - from 7.30am to 8.30am - no opportunity to lie in! Too many recycling bins in the bedroom - made it feel cluttered. Bathroom mirror is behind you as you stand in front of the wash basin - not easy to shave when the mirror is behind you.

Lovely house, perfect for an overnight stop off near Inverness. Clean and had everything that you needed. David was very helpful and gave us good travel advice. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom but we didn’t find that privacy was an issue as stated in other reviews. Lovely large window looking out onto the views. The gardens are beautiful and very useful.

Very subjective but the mattress was very firm which made it difficult to sleep. If you like a firmer mattress then this wouldn’t be an issue!

The location was great as the property looked over Inverness. You need a car to get here but we knew this, and it was worth the drive up the hill for the wonderful views over the garden, Inverness, and the hills. Breakfast was fantastic with the full Scottish breakfast cooked to order. Our host David was extremely helpful with his local knowledge.

Deirdre, David, and Dexter were very welcoming and helpful. Comfy bed, nice room, and yummy breakfast. Nice location, quite close to the city centre. My husband didn't like the single-track road leading to Druid's View, but apart from that, it was a lovely 2 night stay. Thank you very much

The single-track road leading to Druid's View... a minor dislike
