Everything very satisfactory as usual in terms of room, service, breakfast and facilities.

Check-out process was poor. No receipt emailed to me as promised and, almost 24 hours after checkout, the sum blocked from my account on check-in has still not been released. This is unusual for this hotel but not good enough nevertheless.

Check in was quick and easy, the room was immaculate and very spacious, there was a beautiful bathroom with a large shower and plenty of towels and the bedroom came stocked with a TV kettle hair dryer iron and ironing board as well as tea coffee and hot chocolate. The gym was open 24 hours which is perfect for us on unusual sleep schedules. The reception is open 24 hours also meaning you can check in at your convenience

The lady who checked us in did write the wrong room number on your card which was a mistake easily resolved and there was no openable windows in the room, this may be industry standard but it's nice to have fresh air in a room that has the heating on high all day before you arrive

Our third time here and the staff were superb as usual nothing was too much trouble ,we’ve never taken breakfast before , I’m glad we did as it was very nice , although there was some initial confusion that it was included in our package , we booked the Lexington bar on the 4th floor and it was really nice

I had a lot of trouble getting on the hotel WIFI and when I did it kept dropping off , also the mattress is very hard although I suppose for some people that would be fine , the key card stopped working just before checkout and wouldn’t operate the lift which was strange, luckily someone came to our rescue

About 10 mins walk from Connexin theatre. We found the hotel to be clean and modern. The staff were excellent, attentive snd polite. The room exceeded our expectations and had a wonderful modern bathroom with double shower. The restaurant and Lexington bar were both high class and the breakfast was fab. The whole experience was positive and I would definitely stay again when visiting Hull.

We initially missed the entrance to the car park which is tucked away around the corner. They need brr we tree signage at the entrance near the black gates.

I object to being asked to pay a £50 damages deposit that would only be refunded after 5 to 7 days. As a 61 year old female staying in the room alone as I was working at the hotel this was not the welcome that I expected. I am happy for the hotel to hold my card details as security but not happy to pay £50 as a potential criminal. No other hotel that I have stayed in has asked me to do this and it would make me think twice about booking this hotel chain in future if this is their policy. The hotel receptionist agreed for me not to pay this but only on the understanding that I could not use room service or add any payment to the room so I accepted this.

It’s exceptionally clean, staff were very helpful when there was a noise issue and helped me move rooms, complimentary cookie was welcomed, rooms very clean and spacious, delightful shower gel, free water and lovely bar area.

The beds were exceptionally hard. Now some people might like that but I’m just not used to it I have a slightly softer mattress. The second moan was the exceptionally loud dance music coming from the roof top bar. I couldn’t sleep. But the reception staff were very accommodating and moved me to the quietest part of the hotel. Thank you to the lady on nights at the reception area who organised that.

Location was great, as easy walk from hull arena where we were attending an event. Did wonder about road noice, as hotel is in a main road, but didn’t notice any. Staff were all professional and very friendly. Good choice of items, cold & hot, for breakfast. Having own secure car park was a bonus

Expected an alternate entrance to the hotel from the car park at the rear of the hotel, rather than walking around the block to the front entrance. It was very wet & windy during my visit. It certainly wouldn’t put me off staying again though!

As expected when booking for my business trip, this hotel lived up to all of my expectations. very clean, the room was spacious, the bed was super comfy and the staff were always available if required. My room was serviced each day, with fresh towels and cleaned. I would definitely stay here again, and I do visit hull for business often.

No fridge in the room was the only thing I missed. as I stayed for 3 days, I believed it would of had one. I thought it stated it did have one when booking.

Lovely hotel, staff great when checking in. Comfortable bed and clean smart room.

As always breakfast could be improved, we are all Gluten Free, we are never catered for with options. Labelling breakfast items would make life easier, instead of having repeatedly having to ask. I don’t feel we had value for money at breakfast. Staff on checkout desk not so nice, my husband lost his cuff links’s in the ball room the night before staff really didn’t want to help, pushed them to take our number in case they are handed in.

The hotel is in a central location. The staff were pleasant, helpful and polite on arrival. As we were presented with this gooey chocolate cookie each. That cookie, may I add, was spectacular. We walked to our room, opened the door to see a spacious, floor to ceiling windows, nicely turned out bedroom. The bed was soft, lighting was good and TV worked with no problems. Bathroom was equally well designed. We went downstairs and had a delicious meal at Marco Pierre White. We weren't able to go to the roof terrace as there was a private party, maybe next time. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we will be back!
