The rooms were gorgeous, the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of plugs sockets. The cooked breakfast was lovely plus they had cereals, pastries and yoghurts available too. The lady serving breakfast was lovely (I cant believe we didn’t ask her name!) she was so helpful and friendly. None of our group complained about noise at night which is a bonus. We all parked our cars at the long stay car park down the road - £20 for 3 nights.

Lighting in the bedrooms - just wish they were a bit brighter around the mirrors it was a bit of a nightmare putting make up on but apart from that the rooms were spot on.

first time ever at this property and location, it’s was amazing from start to finish! so much to do with our dog. room was spotless and spacious, the staff were amazing esp the lady in the morning who was serving breakfast, breakfast was 10/10 btw! she also went and got our pup a cool mat from her house as the rooms were very warm and he was uncomfortable, he Absoulty loved it and kept him cool the rest of our stay! she was the loveliest lady who just couldn’t do enough for us! we would defo come back again :)

This was our 5th year coming the red dragon inn, as always a lovely stay, clean rooms, great breakfast, great location, great pub and friendly staff. This is a really great location if you have a dog or kids, there is so much to do in the village and it is only a short walk to the rivers edge for paddling.

The only down side was the noise late on and early on from the staff using the top floor, im not sure if it was the location of our room but we would hear some noise around 12:30 then it would start very early on up and down the stairs and letting the door slam.

Fabulous location - very central and although there was no on-site parking, we managed to find a space just a few minutes walk away. Our room was bijou, but just lovely and styled very classically and with great thought. Was a lovely calming space. The room and bathroom was spotless! We looked onto the courtyard, so was very quiet at night so slept like a dream, helped by the pillows which were like fluffy clouds. The mattress was a little firm, but didn’t affect how we slept. The staff were absolutely lovely.

We had booked a table in the early evening to guarantee a meal as it was Mother’s Day. It had been very busy earlier when we checked in. There was only one member of staff (Sebastian) manning the bar and waiting on tables and we thought it very unfair of the management to leave him alone to do everything on his own. We felt that because it was the end of a busy day, we weren’t quite as important as the earlier diners. My scampi was delicious, but my partner’s chicken was very dry and wouldn’t have even been helped by the yoghurt and coleslaw sides if he had had them. Breakfast on the other hand was fab and plentiful and served with a smile. Only one thing with the room was that the toilet roll hanger was hanging off, but not massively important.

The room was great, good size, and very clean. Facilities in the room were tea/coffee, hairdryer, TV, fan, bath, shower, and iron on request. The food was great and the staff were lovely. Polite, friendly, and funny. It is located in the centre so we had easy access to all the shops, restaurants and pubs. Lovely walk down to the river at Devil's Bridge.

The room we had (Firbank) was above the kitchen, and there was some noise in the morning, but nothing that disturbed us too early.

lovely, clean, fresh, friendly and comfortable environment. Friendly staff, amazing rooms, close by free parking, okay dinner, amazing breakfast, just an all round lovely place to stay.

My girlfriend and I went out for some drinks and returned around 2330 to find the key you are supplied with didn’t open the side door to enter into hotel. a few moments of panic and some loud banging someone came to our rescue, turns outs the key was snapped in the door by another guest previously and not repaired so poor on their behalf of not letting us know prior as it couldve went a lot worse.

Lovely place to stay. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean and surprisingly bigger than I expected, especially the bathroom. We booked the room for a night including dinner and breakfast. This was fantastic value. Being offered 2 courses for dinner and lots of choice for breakfast. Food was lovely! Super dog friendly too which helped☺️ Would definitely stay here again!

Only thing I can think of is parking. We had to pay in a car park a few roads away. Not a big issue though.

Excellent breakfast with friendly, helpful staff. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean.

The room was very hot, although the fan helped. It was, however, a very hot day so not really a problem that could be solved apart from with air conditioning. The room was at the back of the pub and overlooked a neighbouring garden bar which was a little noisy.

The Inn was refurbished in July and it has been delivered superbly to a very high standard. Our room was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom and in such a modern way without losing any of the character. We loved the woodwork! The pub is fab and the food - evening meal and breakfast were top notch with lots of choice. All of the team working at the Inn were so friendly and helpful and should be very proud of the job they do. We stayed half board and it was great value. Thank you and highly recommended.

Nothing. Just to note there is no parking as the Inn is on the main street in Kirkby Lonsdale. However, there is a pay and display in the square if you are lucky enough to get a space or foc parking at Devils Bridge - only 8 mins walk away. You can try and get a spot outside to check in and drop bags off.

A great place to stay in this beautiful town. The Red Dragon is a warm, welcoming pub. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We stayed in the Barbon room. Overlooking the high street this is spacious, spotless and well ventilated room (I don't like rooms where you are unable to open the windows). We decided, after walking for the day, to eat in the bar area. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also great quality Overall a really enjoyable stay. When I return to Kirkby Lonsdale I will not hesitate to book into The Red Dragon again and would highly recommend it to family and friends
