Convenient location with free parking Comfortable bed Efficient housekeeping service Dinner in Convive very good with excellent service Air conditioning means that noise from the Ring Road no longer such an issue as can keep the window closed.

I have stayed here many times over the years and have mentioned repeatedly in my reviews that the food on the hot breakfast buffet is unpleasantly cold, but nothing is ever done about this. Is there not a requirement to have hot food kept at a certain temperature for health and safety? It would help to have hot plates, but even this seems to be too difficult. A new irritation is the substitution of tinned tomatoes for fresh grilled since our last visit. Choice of continental breakfast is limited, particularly the selection of fruit. Stables menu extremely limited compared to previous visits TV was positioned awkwardly to the side of the bed rather than in front of it.

Very good location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Stables pub food was excellent. Good selection at breakfast of hot and cold choices. We were staying due to attending a funeral nearby. The after get together was held in the Jacobean suite onsite and all the food provided and attentiveness of staff was truly excellent.

Vegetarian sausages could have been ready and cooked rather than to order. This put my daughter off requesting them due to the wait she would have had. Wi-Fi was very hit and miss while we stayed and was down altogether for a long period. Maybe we were just unlucky. Bedroom 152 was looking in need of a refresh as it looked a little tired.

Easy parking, delicious good value breakfast. Friendly staff. Fantastic location for our needs.

Our room booking was for a twin & a double. Both rooms were twins. We also requested close to each other rooms & were on different floors. We were nearly charged for 4 breakfasts & there were 3 of us. This is the 4th time we have stayed with you so it hasn't put us off. There was a big disturbance in the night by my sons room but it was sorted out by staff helping the guest. The bathrooms are good except for the shower curtain-it would be better to have a larger glass screen instead.

Staff were friendly and great, rooms clean and couldn't ask for more really. Car park all fine and free. Location is a short taxi ride from Leeds, only 15 minutes drive. Hotels nearer the city have parking problems so this was ideal for us. Hotel bar is open until 4am but was empty and no music or atmosphere, that could be improved but once we got the bill from two singles we decided to call it a night! :) Overall the stay was a very pleasant one and I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Cooked breakfast was a little dried out and only warm, looked like nice sausages and bacon too but unfortunately dried and hard. Continental breakfast was well served. Drinks at the hotel bar too expensive, that explains why it was empty unfortunately.

The location is fantastic with it just off the ring road (no road noise) you can easily access the local area. The hotel, very clean welcoming beautiful ground reception staff very welcoming, the room lovely layout very comfortable bed great to have the individual air con units so the guess has total room temperature control. The restaurant very helpful staff and the food outstanding and very reasonable. Breakfast great selection of hot and cold again fantastic staff. Added plus point pub in the grounds

The water pressure is terrible sink tap and bath so if you did want a bath give yourself extra time!

Everything was very well maintained, very organised, very clean and lovely helpful staff 😊 A mini fridge with bottled water in the room was an added bonus as well as a powerful fan which came in very handy. The breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel setting, lots of choice and variety, very fresh and tasty ! Really really good 👍, the staff in the restaurant at breakfast were very pleasant and helpful too. 😊

Didn't really dislike anything but if I had to change anything it would be to add a swimming pool 😊

The staff where brilliant. Particularly the reception staff who helped with advising me round the area, just really helpful and polite. The meal at night was really good. The starters where amazing, the staff where super chatty and helpful, We really felt nothing was to much trouble. The hotel settings where beautiful.

the breakfast wasn't that good, all of the cooked breakfast was cold, the hash browns where awful that bad I couldn't swallow them, dry, cold and like they had been cooked the day before. The staff at breakfast didn't seem to be aware of the guests apart from one waiter who was maybe in his late 50s about 5'5 with grey hair he seemed to be doing all the work and rushing about when the 2 younger waiters just stood looking about. It didn't seem fair.

All reviews about excellent staff all true! Welcoming, professional and attentive. Most welcome after a long drive on your own! Excellent meal and service in the Convive restaurant. As a woman travelling and dining on my own, was made to feel welcome and comfortable. Such a lovely quiet room with everything provided for a really restful night.

Nothing I didn’t like… something that might help all the amazing staff would be a tea and coffee station for breakfast service As yet again, staff were faultless in their attentiveness, and goodness knows how they got around everyone in a very busy breakfast service. They did so with incredible patience but this might have been a helpful addition for all!

Room and beds were fabulous. Lovely building and surroundings. Enjoyed a drink at the Stables courtyard on arrival. Fantastic meal in Convive in the evening. Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice.

More milk cartons and drink selection in the room. I noticed a review where a customer had been upgraded and given a drink pod machine (can't remember the name - Gusto?) Would be great to have these in all rooms. A fridge would have been really useful especially as it was such a hot weekend.

For us, the location is ideal. Close to family, plenty of restaurants nearby. Welcome at check in was lovely. Such a pleasant lad- tall, lots of curly hair, Daniel (?) Enquired about our journey, finding the hotel. Room was generous, lovely to have a bath, not just shower. Love the discount voucher idea if you don't have room service. We've chosen other hotels over you before, but no longer.

Felt the menu in the stables bar was a bit restricted. Would like to see more variety.
