Really good location for a resonable price. The hotel is very close to the bus stop, a few minutes more from Underground. Around 30 mins by feet to the London Eye and Big Ben. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room and the equipment is not new and modern but everything was clean, room was cleaned everyday with new towels. If you are looking for a good place to stay and explore London during the day I can totally recommend.

Room and bath was spacious for a London hotel in that price category, bed was comfortable, water in the shower good. Perfect spot for exploring the city, the bus stop is around the corner and you can easily and directly get from there to many touristic hot spots (Picadilly, Oxford St., British Museum etc.) within 10-20 minutes. Breakfast cafes can be found across the main street.

Room could need renovation, furniture looks quite worn/old, but nothing is broken or even dirty. If you are prepared for that and don't mind too much about the appearance, the price-performance ratio is excellent. No aircon, so need to sleep with open windows in the summer (might by noisy depending which room you get).

Located with good commute to the city centre. It has everything necessary, even tea pot with tea, hairdryer, fan and good enough quality shampoo and body wash. A bed was comfortable. Electric lock with card. Hot water with good pressure. Safety box.

The area around is not very nice, it doesn’t look safe, while I don’t know the statistics. Bathroom interior is very weird, covered with plastic with lots of holes, some of them covered with sticking tape. It brings the impression of not being clean while generally it is hygienic and no dirt was found. We woke up with the noise on the construction works downstairs. 140 punds per night for this level is incredible, while hotel prices are crazy in London in general so hard to complain.

• No lift • There is a fridge but you can't leave anything in there while you are out because the entire power of the room turn off when you take the key card out.

Excellent value for money. While not in the center of London, you are a few minutes away from Elephant and Castle which is a major transport hub on the south bank of the Thames. You have direct bus connections to many of the important landmarks and areas of London and also the Metro and suburban trains. There are plenty shops around. Our room was recently refurbished and everything was brand new and clean. The staff was very friendly and they stored our luggage on check out day for a few hours as we had a late flight.

Really good location, right on a high street with plenty of places to eat and shop at. Staff were awesome and even provided a fan for the room (white noise). Beds were very comfy and the room felt homely. Would definitely stay again if I do the London marathon again!

Room was dusty, especially the floor due to construction. Construction stopped early though so no disruption. Only about 75% of the spot lights were working but the room was still well lit.

The room was a decent size, enough for just one or two nights. The gentleman that checked me in was lovely and assisted me with queries as to where to go etc. The value for money is fantastic, I paid £109 for my room and although it was for one night that's cheap for London unless you want to stay in a hostel.

The bed was a little too hard but that's my personal preference. It is a bit out of the way and a pain to find but that was the only issue I had, nothing within the staffs control.

Good location, easy access to all major London places of interest. Subway stations are close and the hotel itself is on a side street, far enough away from the hustle and bustle for the noise not to be bothersome

The room was chilly as the max temperature is governed and the plumbing in the bathroom was a little frustrating

The location was pretty decent, with ample transport options available. Reception was friendly and efficient. The room, as a solo traveller, was probably the smallest room I've ever stayed in, but still way better than most that were bigger. Everything I needed was neatly arranged, and the bed was comfortable. It's a place that I enjoyed staying in, and would definitely use again, which is the best recommendation I can give.

The room was a bit expensive for it's size, but for the weekend of the queen's passing, it was understandable.
