Onefam Hostel in London is an incredibly cosy place. It’s perfect for solo travellers looking to make great friends. I had the opportunity to visit twice, and each time, I was treated exceptionally well. "Onefam" truly feels like a big family. If you're staying at this hostel, your days in London will be filled with happiness and lots of laughter. It’s a magical place. However, there’s one thing you should know... no matter how many days you stay, you’ll never want to leave. Thank you, Onefam (and the wonderful team), for giving me two perfect stays.

the staff was so nice, I really enjoyed every second here 🫶🏻 and the people I met will stay in my heart for a long time it's really like a family, it was my 1st time in a hostel and I want to do some more thanks to this experience special thanks to Thomas, so lovely 💓💓 and Nick cause I had so much fun with. willyan is also a rly nice and attentive. thanks one fam🫶🏻🫧

Would have liked curtains for the bed

I had a great stay at Onefam Waterloo Hostel! When I first walked in, my name was on a welcome board and Jo at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. They offered to put my bags in storage before check-in so I could go into the city without lugging them around. The rooms were nice and had a storage locker in them. Everyone that stayed and worked at the hostel were so friendly and respectful to each other. The hostel also offered free dinner, guided day activities, and a group to go out at night with! It was very clean, very fun, and had a certain sense of community about it. I would recommend Onefam Waterloo to anyone visiting London!

The hostel has an amazing atmosphere for solo travelers with their dinners, drinking games, daily tours and parties all together. The beds were enough to rest for the night and everyone was too friendly to whole time. The facilities (kitchen, toilets, and common area) are great.

Because of the condition of the building the showers are really small and sometimes busy a bit. I think it would be good to prepare yourself for this and take shower not really in busy times. Apart from that, everything was good.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff on reception, gave me perfect advice regarding the nearest coin operated laundromat place. The kitchen has many fridges, cups, plates, bowls and cutlery for all. A lot of storages in the room, smaller ones had the option to put a padlock on (hence I personally wasn't using a padlock) You can purchase an EU to UK plug adapter from reception if you forgot to take yours. Hosts have been organising daily events, nights out and sightseeing trips around London. Unfortunately, I had no chance to join them because of personal business but other guests who do, really enjoyed it (almost everyone) The hosts and guests were friendly, fun, respectful and kind. Thanks to all for great hospitality!

As the most other inexpensive places in London this place would benefit from some TLC. Ceiling extraction fans in shower cubicles would benefit from some cleaning (dust covering outlets)

After spending three nights at this hostel, I am happy to leave a full score review here for it ! I simply loved the place. The hostel has a very special inviting vibe, and makes you want to get to know other people, especially over the trips to the markets of London, the free dinner (which was perfect for a vegetarian person like me), the drinking games and bar outings which enable you to bond with other guests as well as the staff. The place was really clean, which is something I worry about a lot usually when I travel, but this was very well taken care of, which I really appreciated. Some particular points I enjoyed and I would like to point out : - I arrived earlier than my check in time, and Dan was so sweet to help me put my luggage in a safe spot until check in time. - After I checked out, I stayed at the hostel because I was working remotely that day, and everyone was super sweet and friendly regarding that. They allowed me to work in a dedicated space, which really meant a lot to me. - Lastly, I have to mention the staff again and again!! What a lovely group of people!! Dan, Ryan, Maya, Meg, Bert, and everyone else !!! You are amazing, thanks for making me feel like a part of your family during my short stay! Looking forward to seeing London (and you) again soon!

The dormitories are spacious with sturdy bunk beds, lockers for securing belongings, and ample power outlets for charging devices. Despite being a shared space, I found privacy was still respected thanks to clever room layouts and curtains on each bed.
