Onefam Hostel in London is an incredibly cosy place. It’s perfect for solo travellers looking to make great friends. I had the opportunity to visit twice, and each time, I was treated exceptionally well. "Onefam" truly feels like a big family. If you're staying at this hostel, your days in London will be filled with happiness and lots of laughter. It’s a magical place. However, there’s one thing you should know... no matter how many days you stay, you’ll never want to leave. Thank you, Onefam (and the wonderful team), for giving me two perfect stays.

the staff was so nice, I really enjoyed every second here 🫶🏻 and the people I met will stay in my heart for a long time it's really like a family, it was my 1st time in a hostel and I want to do some more thanks to this experience special thanks to Thomas, so lovely 💓💓 and Nick cause I had so much fun with. willyan is also a rly nice and attentive. thanks one fam🫶🏻🫧

Would have liked curtains for the bed

I had a great stay at Onefam Waterloo Hostel! When I first walked in, my name was on a welcome board and Jo at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. They offered to put my bags in storage before check-in so I could go into the city without lugging them around. The rooms were nice and had a storage locker in them. Everyone that stayed and worked at the hostel were so friendly and respectful to each other. The hostel also offered free dinner, guided day activities, and a group to go out at night with! It was very clean, very fun, and had a certain sense of community about it. I would recommend Onefam Waterloo to anyone visiting London!

The girls at the reception—Matilda, Jo, and Monica—also deserve special mention for their outstanding service. Their professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to assist with any inquiries or concerns contribute significantly to the positive atmosphere of the hostel. It's clear that they take pride in their roles and genuinely care about the guests' experience. Moreover, the rest of the staff at One Fam Waterlo Hostel adds to the overall charm of the place. From the cleaning staff to those working in the common areas, everyone is dedicated to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The teamwork and positive attitude of the entire staff create a harmonious atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience. I loved how all the workers were down to earth travellers aswell and helped anyone who had a question. Squid, allesandro, gabby, delsea, Amy, tara and especially the boss dan chambers were all top notch at accomodating everyone that was there. All helped out with social outings, dinner cooking and night time outings

It did suck that it took 4 days to fix the showers on our floor aswell so you had the whole building sharing 4 showers. But that's hostels for you 🤷‍♂️

The hostel has an amazing atmosphere for solo travelers with their dinners, drinking games, daily tours and parties all together. The beds were enough to rest for the night and everyone was too friendly to whole time. The facilities (kitchen, toilets, and common area) are great.

Because of the condition of the building the showers are really small and sometimes busy a bit. I think it would be good to prepare yourself for this and take shower not really in busy times. Apart from that, everything was good.

The staff introduced everything clearly and friendly. You can deposit luggage before check in. They also arrange some activities at night time but I was too tired to join. They do not offer washing gel like shampoo, but they organize free toiletry (perhaps from previous visitors) so you can find something useful if luck comes. They do not offer towel proactively but you can request at the reception. As a buget hostel, there toilets and bathrooms are clean enough.

It is almost impossible for people to sit on the bed because you may bump your head. The privacy of bed is not so good because there are no drapes on each bed, so the roommates can directly see what you are doing at anytime. This means you can also see what others are doing even though you may not want to.
