The beds were comfortable and private. I liked the space to work and eat and I liked that we had a fridge. The staff were really nice and the toilets and showers were clean. I had everything I needed there; they even provided period products in the bathrooms.
The lockers under the beds caused a lot of noise in the morning and evenings because they bump and rattle. I didn't like that the key card had all the information to get into the building and the room - I worried that if someone dropped their card and a stranger found it they would be able to get in. It would be better if the key cards didn't say the name of the hostel on. That way if someone loses it it doesn't matter.

Lovely staff. Clean communal bathrooms and showers. Good lounge area. Access to fridge and microwave. Plenty of dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery. Coffee and tea are provided all day/night. Very close to bus stops and just a few 100 yards to the tube. Privacy curtain on bunks, personal night light for each bunk.
The 4-bed room was so small there was barely space to store suitcases for 4 guests. The under the bed roller baskets were in accessible due to the 4 suitcases/backpacks in the room. The door to the downstairs area does not have a soft close, so it "banged" well past midnight when anyone went downstairs.

I most likely love everything on the place, the vibe is very nice and Chanel from reception is THE BEST!
When they did my laundry mu clothes was still wet when the girl delivered so I had to ask to dry again what she did. There’s a blonde girl that sometimes is rude, he’s actually the one that is on the photos of the hostal wear green. And the room’s humidity at night is insane. Finally housekeepers let the new sheets on the floor before doing the beds so they can be with dust and from the floor they get contaminated I guess

Great location with a supermarket as a neighbor and it has great walking distance between 2 subway stations. We loved the vibe at moments. LQBTQIA+ friendly. The beds are okay, i very much appreciated the curtains for the privacy. There were 2 good receptionists, the rest was in it for the money and it was noticeable. Many cute activities get thought of. Still, if we would go again, we would be happy to stay here.
It has a big common area, but every day, every hour the same 3 people take over the couch. The lady with the big red lips is the worst. There is a basket where you can put free food, which goes to waste because of the employee food around it. Everyone is scared of taking the wrong stuff so they don't take anything. Red lipped lady then goes through the free stuff and loudly exclaims that she likes the hotel guests' stuff. There are lines for the bathroom's for brushing your teeth, and because of the wet floorrs in the bathroom's everyone uses the sinks in the toilet rooms Bedrooms could use another lay out for not blocking the walking paths with the lockers. ,

The fact, of course, that it was a women only hostel. Sometimes I would forget, and then when I realised again it was just so comforting. Very nice staff, and although it’s a hostel in London, it’s altogether comfortable. Curtains on the beds, baseline privacy. The Bethnal Green stop is just a block away and it’s about a 20 minute walk to the City.
I thought it was unfortunate there wasn’t an oven in the kitchen — unless I managed to overlook that entirely. And there are a couple men on staff which, not to sound difficult, surprised me a bit. Still lovely people. Ah! Actually my main issue was that I was top bunk, and so the overhead lights — whenever someone wanted them on — would be full brightness just inches from my face, as the ceiling had about 20 overhead lights dotted all over. So if you want to sleep before 1 am or sleep in past 7, dream on sister

I was very grateful for the easygoing the atmosphere, and for how there was little difficulty in relaxing and communicating with other guests as well. Plenty of amenities and small upgrades such as slippers, ear plugs are provided for the comfort of guests and that's certainly a plus to have at arm's length. Over recent years it has come to light how few safe locations for gender variant individuals remain in the UK; I admit that I felt a little hesitation at making the booking -- not sure of how gender non-conforming or transfem guests would be judged, or if they are treated with dignity and allowed to use this space. I'm a guest who is a butch woman with PCOS (so I have a deeper voice), so I stick out like a sore thumb at times, and I did not experience any trouble with staff or other guests -- no harassment or strange looks!! Additionally, there's support given for the LGBT community communicated by flags included on the notice board at the lounge. Thank you for your support and for cultivating a secure environment for all girl backpackers.
I do not really have any complaint to make about the service received, or the condition of the lodging - it exceeded my expectations!

The idea of the hostel in amazing in general! Clean, huge kitchen with the lobby. Very cool way of using left and unwanted stuff - creating second-hand stall.
Last day I decided to give my stuff to laundry but got it back still dirty, after tumble drying no washing though, with even more stains on them, two of my shirts written off😭 so I was left with most of my clothes dirty for my further whole-day trip but the worst was the attitude of one of the ladies at the receptions who was clearly fed up with my situation and was trying to convince me that I exaggerate while showing her my shirts. Bunk beds are quite loud and metallic lockers under are a real pain for the guest sleeping in a bottom bunk

Its safety.
The bathrooms were always dirty and smelly, and the bathroom next to room 11 always had garbage all over the floor. Regardless of the time of day. On the light stand of my bed there were remnants of wrappers from something the other person ate before I accessed the room. I have my doubts as to whether the bed linen has been changed. The floor outside the showers was always very wet. There was no insulation from the sounds of the street, the room had 16 beds and the air-conditioning was done with the windows open, even though it was 32 degrees in London.

Welcoming clean space, great location, kitchen facilities and shared area seating was great. The power points and lights on the bunks were excellent. The toilets and showers were clean.
In the four bed dorm room the luggage lockers under the beds were noisy to pull out and use which would be awkward if people are sleeping. The hostel is next to a railway line, for someone used to that like I am it's not a major problem but it did affect the sleep of others in the dorm.

I really appreciated the location - it was right across the bus stop where the National Express dropped me off (from Stanstead airport) which was great since I arrived late at night. The nearest tube station was 2 min walk away so well connected to the rest of the city. Brick Lane and Shoreditch are an easy walk away. Many supermarkets and coffee shops within walking distance as well. The kitchen was very well equipped which was helpful. The fridge also had a shelf for free food which I was grateful for. The reception staff is warm, friendly, and super helpful. The desk is open 24x7 so also never a problem to check-in late.
The shower and toilet stalls were next to each other so the water from the showers would flow into the toilet and made the floor wet and inconvenient to navigate. The stairs are pretty narrow and there is no elevator so keep that in mind when bringing in a big luggage. In my room, my bed was positioned in a way that there wasn't enough space for me to open the storage trunk properly to keep my things so I had to mostly keep it outside.
