The room was very spacious, clean and modern, the beds very comfortable. Plenty of sockets and close to the beds (important). We could also control the heating to our liking. We arrived late and check in was very easy. The host was amazingly nice, she wrote back and forth to us several time to help us with late arrival, parking, and restaurant choices. Breakfast was good and again, the hosts were very friendly and chatty.

Nothing we did not like about the hotel. A word or advice for future travellers, there are not many restaurants in the area and they close very early.

I never leave reviews, but this place deserves one!! Lovely breakfast, plenty of options! Comfy room with amenities, including fridge, towels, hairdryer, shower gel/ shampoo/ conditioner, and a great selection on the TV too, for downtime during the day! Also able to darken the room significantly with a blackout blind, which was great for North Coast summers! There's a 9pm cut off to be quiet which i really appreciated as other places in the area have been known to be spoilt due to rowdiness of other guests, but not here! :)

wouldn't change a thing, can't wait to return, will be our north coast go to :)

Very hospitable and informative hosts. Lovely warm atmosphere. Premises very modern, extremely clean and very secure. Car can be parked at premises. Bedroom and bathroom both very modern, with extra touches. Bed very comfortable for a great night's sleep. Very conveniently located within walking distance to beautiful Portstewart. Breakfast very tasty with good options. We will 100% be back. Thanks so much Theresa and Robert, ye well deserve the praise.

Everything was exceptional.

The location was great and such a short distance to walk to the town and along the sea. They just thought of what would make our lives a little easier with cot for the baby, high chair set up at breakfast, toiletries in the bathroom etc. Theresa was so helpful and welcoming we really felt like we were staying somewhere so comfortable.

The only thing was windows didn’t open which made it feel a little stuffy sometimes but room size was very good so this was only the case in the mornings sometimes.

What a fabulous guesthouse right in the heart of Portstewart. Nothing was too much for Robert and Theresa. It was very modern, clean, and comfortable. Everything we needed was in the room, and there was a fridge, which was really handy. Breakfast was delicious, and everything was cooked and served by the owners themselves who were great craic. We were sent plenty of info before arrival on checking in, places to visit, and where to eat. If you're lucky, you may also be lucky enough to meet the famous Chris Pine 😉 We would highly recommend it and will definitely be returning!

It was modern, clean and perfect for my stay. The hosts Theresa and Robert were 100 out of 100. They were friendly, welcoming and accommodating to the needs of their guests. All of the food for the generous healthy breakfast was fresh. And well prepared. They cleared and cleaned each table efficiently. On arrival when I said that I thought that I needed a haircut before travelling there within 2 mins the phone rand telling me where the nearest barbers was located nearby. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

I liked the entire experience and have no criticism whatsoever about the property

Friendly down to earth staff who were always very helpful and connected well with their customers. The bedrooms were excellent, very clean and well equipped. Bed was very comfy too. They gave us an extra large room into the bargain Theresa was lovely and very approachable, after we had a bit of an accident with a bottle of red wine. They were very supportive and helped us out and didn't make us feel uncomfortable at all. I would highly recommend Port56, it's handy and centrally located in portstewart for walks, shopping, bars and beach. You will not be disappointed staying here.

Teresa met us on checkin and Both Teresa and Robert were there for breakfast the following morning, they couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Room was quite spacious and modern and king size beds were very comfortable breakfast was 100% fresh and extremely tasty, nice selections of cereals, fruits, toast and a lovely fry with tea/coffee/orange juice. particular mention deserved for the lovely scrambled eggs. we know the area well so knew location wise what to expect, it's easy to find and in a really nice area, only a short walk to either the Promenade or the strand.

I have no complaints.

I can't praise this accommodation highly enough!! The location is excellent, just a 4 minute walk from the promenade, bars, restaurants - all very friendly and welcoming. My room was spotless, comfortable and had everything I needed. When tending my room all small details were noted (wine class left next to my bottle of Chianti!). The hosts, Theresa and Robert are the real stand out feature of this b+b, genuine, warm and friendly people who put their hearts into their exceptional b+b. And the breakfast - outstanding! Especially the scrambled eggs!. This place has the hospitality of a b+b with 5-star hotel touch of class. I will find a reason to drive 6 hours to stay here again!!!

Leaving..

The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean with all mod-cons. the breakfast was fantastic with loads of choice and good quality food. Theresa was good at making suggestions of where to eat in the evening.

It's a personal thing but I really didn't like not having a window. There was a large skylight but it was covered in a screen so I could hear it was raining but couldn't see it until I went for breakfast. My stay was at the end of Oct so not a massive deal but it would be in the summer. Personal preference but not what I was expecting.
