Lovely welcome and our hosts went the extra mile to make our stay the best ever. We had lovely comfy beds in a peaceful room overlooking a babbling brook which was wonderful.Breakfast was extra special and beautifully cooked and presented. We had a fresh seasonal fruit salad to start and were offered cereal before the full English!. Ample tea or coffee and fresh orange juice. Our hosts were very special indeed , friendly, helpful and providing the optimum of caring hospitality. It was such a treat to be a guest in their beautiful home. A big thank you, Roger and Alison.

Although location was good for getting to other places, the roads are a bit hairy! Maybe a couple of chairs (space permitting) would be useful to watch tv

Roger & Alison are both lovely people, from the moment we arrived at Woodpeckers they were fantastic hosts making us feel extremely welcome. Roger's breakfasts are the best full English breakfasts that we have ever tasted. There is so much choice for breakfast that after breakfast you will be set up for the day as you never leave the breakfast table hungry. They go out of their way to make your say as comfortable as possible. Woodpeckers is situated near to Bodmin Moor which is ideal for visiting all of Cornwall's coastal resorts. We would definitely recommend a stay at Woodpeckers and will look forward to returning in the near future.

The Hosts Alison and Roger were so friendly and they have a lovely home. The location was perfect for us. So quiet in the evening and just a short stroll to the local pub for evening meals. (Manor House Inn) The B&B was located to make day trips to most popular places of interest within 30 mins drive to the south coast.

We didn't like the seating for Breakfast. Meaning we had to share the same table as other guests and facing them during breakfast. This is something we personally didn't like due to Covid issues but may be OK for other people.

Breakfast options can be adjusted daily and there is plenty on the table to set you up for the day. We found the food very saisfying and well preented

We had hoped to be able to spend sometime chilling in the beatiful garden. However no access was available due to the Covid measures in place.This was totally acceptable as it protects the health and well-being of both staff and guests.

The warmth of the hosts with nothing too much trouble. The room was lovely and comfortable with every item you could need. Breakfasts were excellent.

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect.

From the warm and welcoming hospitality, lovely and cosy room with great attention to detail, cleanliness, easy parking, beautiful location (and great base for exploring Cornwall) and tranquil setting (fabulous brook outside our room!) to the amazing breakfast! We loved everything!

So friendly, kind and welcoming. Beautiful home, so comfortable with the most delicious breakfast. Cereals, fruit, yoghurt then a big English breakfast cooked to perfection. Beautiful location, perfect for us for the wedding venue "The Green". 5* hospitality, could of stayed there forever.

Nothing, everything was perfect and more.

The room faced a lovely brook surrounded with woodland. Very peaceful and tranquil. Roger was a very attentive host and made us feel very welcome.

Attention to detail when cleaning room - thick dust behind bathroom door and cobwebs in corners.

The host, Mr Roger and his wife did everything for us to feel comfortable, and breakfast was delicious.

1- Our room was small, with two separated single beds, bathroom even smaller.
