Breakfast was lovely. The room was quaint and quirky, as was the whole building. The bed was comfortable. The host was nice and chatty and knowledgeable about the building.
The rooms, due to their age were quite cold and the heating wasn't really very efficient. The room was not made up between nights. Fresh towels needed to be requested. Being an older property, it was in need of some repair.

It was remote, quiet and architecturally stunning. It is as it says - converted stables - charming character and not crowded. There are no extra facilities but there is a small lounge and honesty bar . This place feels like your own mansion with the added perk of a delicious Breakfast of your choice being served at the time you request. There are only a few guest rooms so the breakfast room was always spacious and peaceful. Staff were professional but equally very friendly and polite. Southwold is 10 min drive away which was enough for a stroll and fish and chips.

The position is very quite and the ro0m was clean with great charm. The scrambled eggs are particularly good at breakfast. The selection of biscuits in the room very good. The concept of a "Honesty Bar" was novel and showed the trust the people had in their guests. We did not use the bar but appreciated it was available.
The bath was great but with no shower curtain or screen and therefore no position to put shower spray at head height having a shower is difficult. My other comment is that the beds are not made each day by housekeeping, this did not effect out stay but others may not like that.

It is a glorious location in the middle of the park and conveniently close to Southwold and other places of special interest. The room we stayed in (Southwold) was spacious and full of character with its over-arching beams. It was also well equipped with generous storage space and excellent plumbing. Full marks for the informative folder!
Some left-over nuts were discovered in one of the bedside drawers and we were surprised the bed was not made after our first evening at the accommodation (although the waste-rubbish had been collected). We appreciated the tasty breakfast, but one might also welcome the options of cheese and yoghourt.

Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and cooked beautifully. The room was perfect for myself and my 7 year old grandson. The small dining table and chairs in the room meant we could eat in our room. The staff were helpful in supplying a plate and use of a microwave. There was also a fridge available for our use. There was a grassy garden area at the front of the hotel that we played ball on. Also picnic benches and chairs for guests to use. We were both made to feel very welcome.
There is nothing that I can think of.

It was my first time staying here with my family. We had a lovely stay here and really enjoyed our time here. It was comfortable and it was quite clean. Ultimately, it helped that they served breakfast as well which was prepared in good time and we enjoying the meal there as well. Service was prompt and the staff were friendly and approachable. There was sufficient parking there and it was quite peaceful to stay there as well. I couldn't really fault any major issues. It was quite nice that there was a self serving bar downstairs and a living room like area with board games and such like. The rooms were spacious, clean, tidy and towels were provided. I was overall quite happy with staying at this cottage despite some of the minor issues I have mentioned. Would recommend it to anyone. 8/10,
The pillow felt a bit too low and two pillows were too much, at least for me. The shower facilities was good but there was no curtain; but the main issue was that, once two people had used the shower, there wasn't sufficient hot water for the third person.

Alan, the owner, was really friendly and helpful. He allowed us to keep our bikes in the entrance hall. The room was lovely and comfortable, there was tea and coffee making facilities as well as a small fridge and water. The breakfast was really good and it felt very tranquil and relaxing.
The only negative thing for me was that there was no shower screen as I prefer a shower to a bath, but it was not a big deal.

The Stables is in an ideal location for those seeking peace and quiet, and is, in fact, over half a mile from the main road. The room had very high ceilings, was spacious, and had more than adequate drawer and wardrobe space. The bed was extremely comfortable and was equipped with numerous pillows and cushions. This really was a spacious and comfortable room. Also, the breakfast was excellent, with a good range of tasty choices, all delivered with copious amounts of tea or coffee.
Although the bathroom was also spacious and adequately equipped, I had a problem with the shower, which was small, and the entry point was raised, making entry difficult for any person of a big build or having arthritic joints.

Location especially trees and peaceful atmosphere Breakfasts were excellent Beds very comfortable Room spacious and characterful Plentiful hot water We enjoyed the history of the house
Towel rack in bathroom would be useful Stand for suitcase to save bending Safety handles beside bath would help with getting in and out Lighting poor over table, too dim for writing breakfast requirements Stairs looked beautiful but were very hard work for me, careful navigation was required with a suitcase to carry

Beautiful room, lovely breakfast
We accidentally ventured on to the land of Lord Henham, no signage. He was arrogant, stuck up and extremely rude in front of my two young granddaughters. Will not return, he will not get any more of my hard earned money, unlike his inheritance. Obviously he is happy to have the money generated by having Latitude on HIS land every year, unlike us non paying peasants. 🙄 ps he was on the phone to the manager of The Stables in seconds who then ushered us off the area like naughty school children.
