This holiday flat was a fabulous choice. Particularly noteworthy is the elevated position a little above the church with lovely views of Hugh Town and the harbour. The flat looks like new, is bright, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean (and without carpeting...). Nothing is missing. At night you can't hear anything except the seagulls. We really appreciated the good mattress for the many nights we spent here. Carmen is a friendly hostess and gave us lots of interesting tips. Our room was a superb base to explore the archipelago from, when we landed it was a short walk from the airport past fields full of the joys and flowers of spring, and was an easy walk into Hugh Town for food and boats to the other islands. Having full cooking facilities made life easier (and cheaper!), and we spent a lot of time happily sat by the front window enjoying the view. One of the most relaxing holidays I have been lucky enough to go on.

Hard to find a negative, about all I can say is that if the occupant of the other room has the TV on fairly loud the sound carries through the walls a little. Otherwise I cannot fault Appletree, it was lovely.

It was advertised as providing breakfast, but the owner did inform us soon after we booked that breakfast was not included. Clean, well equipped accommodation. Good location for the town and harbour.

My partner and I liked everything about our week long stay at the Appletree. The location was perfect - a very easy stroll to the town centre and quayside. Appletree gave us terrific sunny views of the harbour and the islands beyond. Facilities, cleanliness and welcome were all first class too. We really enjoyed our stay at the Appletree - it provided the perfect accommodation and location for us to explore the beauty of St Mary’s and the Isles of Scilly. Highly recommended.

The apartment was bright and airy and had lovely views from the window. The shower and the bed were both excellent. The location is a fairly short walk from the town centre, which should be fine for most people.

Lovely quiet spot with views over the sea. Handy for walking to everything needed. Very clean and comfortable.

Would be good to have an extractor in kitchen as we couldn't open the window by the hob.

Location excellent with a splendid view of the sunset. Carmen was very helpful. It was only ten minutes walk to the quay to take trips to the other islands.

The accommodation was comfortable, clean and in a great location, close to the centre of town and the beaches.

Very modern, comfortable and with all the extras which made it ideal for our stay eg USB sockets beside bed to charge phones etc and bathroom socket to charge electric toothbrush. A very well equipped kitchen and comfortable chairs to relax in after a long day hiking. Fantastic view over harbour and town.
