The room was very comfortable and spacious, We had two evening meals in the restaurant, both of which were excellent quality, tasty & reasonably priced. The breakfasts were great - locally sourced sausage, black pudding and beautiful eggs, cooked to perfection. Our waitress was more than happy to top up tea and toast and get us extra supplies of butter, marmalade etc as required. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Everything was perfect. My Mother has mobility issues so we requested a downstairs bedroom which we were allocated. I was afraid it might be noisy but it wasnt at all. The hotel also provided my mother with a mobility stool for the shower which was great.

Late arrival after a hectic day, greeted by very helpful staff and even though had not booked an evening meal I was offered a table in hotel restaurant. My room was fine,very clean and bright and after a quick hot shower it was down to enjoy an excellent meal. Food was well presented, served by cheerful staff , reasonably priced and thoroughly enjoyed. After a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed I enjoyed an excellent breakfast which was piping hot with a good choice and again staff were excellent.

I'ts easy to find fault but for the cost of my stay it was well above my expectations and staff were a credit.

there was a loud party on in the evening but these things happen downstairs room so picked up all the noise and folks moving around in the hall area etc again we requested downstairs and it's inevitable

Fantastic large room overlooking the loch. You could lie in the comfortable bed and watch the ferries. Good breakfasts. Had 3 evening meals in the hotel. Make sure you book as was busy every night. Food was excellent good value and loads of choice. They also had plenty of staff waiting on. Would like to return.

The shower pressure wasn't great don't know if that is normal in the area. The showerhead did not match the holder so the water went behind onto the wall rather than you which was quite annoying but could be remided easily.

Very minor criticism needs a small shelf putting up in the en-suite to put personal toiletries on room 5

Free upgrade to a bigger to room. Room was lovely, very large and spacious. Bed was large, mattress was super super comfy. Glorious view over the Loch. Breakfast in the morning was tasty, nice Scottish breakfast. Staff were all nice and friendly.

Only real comment is the water pressure in the showers was none existent but there's not much they can do about it.

Good location, friendly staff, fresh modern rooms. The room was also quiet and there was no noise from other rooms or from outside. The Breakfast was delicious - it was served piping hot and was very tasty. Very friendly staff - everyone I met said hello and were genuine in their interactions.

The only issue (if you call it that) I found was the location of the plug socket for the kettle didn't reach, so the kettle had to be put on the floor to use - just an inconvenience really.

The ensuite was small which meant the door couldn't open properly - if I had been of a large size it would not have been possible to squeeze by and sit on the toilet!

The clean comfortable big bedroom and the excellent food, plus the guid Scots greeting. This is what other wee Scottish hotels should aspire to.

The bar needs more types of beer, especially Scottish beer. The parking was restricted and we needed safe parking.

Was upgraded to windyridge room, sea view the lot.Meals are always to a high standard,reason for us returning, staff very attentative to all your needs.

Sorry could not fault any thing, you cannot legislate where/when the seagulls deposit there mess.All to a very high standard.
