The area and setting was very convenient, check in to room perfect.

The walls are very thin and some guests clearly don't respect other guests after midnight, very bad nights sleep in my huge comfortable bed 😴 😡

Rooms were great. Lots of space, very large comfortable beds, great tea and coffee selection and a fridge. Very ‘green’ using collected rain water for flushing toilets and air pump heating. Situated next to The George & Dragon pub, which served great food in the evening, but they don’t do breakfast. Due to the remoteness the pub sometimes closes early during December, when we stayed. A great base to explore Norfolk, but you would need a car.

As we had three rooms booked under one name, the phone code to enter rooms wasn’t an option. We opted for key cards to be picked up from the pub. We were told the pub would be open until 3pm, so planned our journey accordingly. I was disappointed that when my daughters, who arrived first at 2:20, were pressurised by a young barmaid, to pay for the rooms, as they had decided to close at 2:30 instead of 3:00. We arrived at 2:25 and so had to transferred the money to daughters!

The billing as a motel was good, made clear it was really a place to have the car, and the car park was integral to the site. The rooms were adequately equipped and everything was well thought through to make best use of the space. The room size was good so never felt cramped.

Although the check in was seamless it wasn't very clear if we had to pay on arrival or prior. Also I downloaded the phone app to have a key, but was then given a card on arrival. I think the information was all there, but it didn't jump out at me from the emails and communications I got.

No catering supplied by the Pig Shed so used pub next door which was adequate and local facilities for breakfast which was good but expensive. The accommodation although simplistic was excellently thought out to make for efficient cleaning (excellent). Under floor heating providing even heat and clean lines of design. Sound proofing excellent considering the noise from the local air base cannot be avoided (we used to live nearby in CA!!!). Excellent showers. Maybe need to consider walk in or low level bath in future development for us old cronies!!!!

Hard to criticise as what we got was what was clear on the web site. FOR CONSIDERATION in future development. Brilliant shower but access over a high sided bath is a risk of fall. OK for the young not so good for older people. Poses the question how often is the bath used as a bath?? Many I know don't like the thought of a bath because sitting in previous users !! Must be more difficult for your staff to ensure a clean bath for all, over a walk in shower. Can an alternative be a viable solution???

A lovely little short stay for a holiday visiting the Norfolk Coast. Room and bathroom was very modern and clean. Parking was free directly opposite the room and we didn't hear any other guests during our stay so it was very peaceful. Smart key card using our phones was an innovative idea however I could see how this might be a problem for people who don't use mobile phones and/or are elderly.

Not much to do in the area but this is a very decent location to stay if visiting surrounding areas, 30 mins drive in any direction and you're at the coast.

We’ve stayed here before, the location is ideal for us. The rooms are great, there is no outside noise to interfere with your peace and quiet. The rooms are clean, there is a pod coffee machine, kettle & fridge in each room, this is great for a morning coffee. The bathroom has a full size bath and a powerful shower. The king size bed is soft and a great nights sleep was had.

Everything is spot on, there was nothing to dislike.

I've stayed on several occasions and is still a lovely clean comfortable place to stay. Cannot fault the cleanliness everything you need for overnight stays. Well stocked coffee & tea. Plenty of towels.

This is not a dislike just for other travellers to note. This is a motel so no breakfast available. If you need an early start the cafe in Castle Acre doesn't open until 10am nearest would be to drive to swaffham if you are travelling in that direction. Could also bring certain items as a fridge is provided.

A large, bright and airy room with all the facilities needed for a short break. Bed was very comfortable. People in the pub were LOVELY and couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful - the food was delicious too! Great location in Norfolk with easy access to lots of beautiful places to visit.

Only shampoo and no conditioner in the bathroom unfortunately. There are no breakfast options on-site (it was made very clear upon booking) but there is a fridge and kettle in the room to make a basic breakfast to have in the room.

The room was lovely, clean and really well presented. Lovely big, comfortable bed and nice furniture.

It was too warm at night and not possible to change the temperature independently. You had to contact someone. I felt it was too late as we had a late night celebrating a friend's wedding. It would have been much better to be able to adjust the heating ourselves in the room. Otherwise this was a great place to stay and we were very happy.

property was ideally located, communication from company was perfect. the room was clean, all information provided on desk, allocated parking, bath and shower was powerful and extremely efficient. Beds were super comfortable and had a very good sleep! highly recommended if I ever come to Norfolk again would definitely go there!!!

provided keycard although was expecting code via the app… EV charging wasn’t working - but that’s me being picky! the website explained prior that these were not working.
