On arrival we were told that our room had been upgraded. The room that we were given was absolutely beautiful and certainly helped to make our stay very memorable. The reception staff were excellent, very friendly and showed us where all the facilities were. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but the breakfast and lunch were lovely. All the staff that we met were warm and welcoming especially in the restaurant and the spa. The wreath on the day was very blustery, but I can imagine that if you were staying with children there would still be more than enough to keep them entertained.

There was nothing that we didn’t like and plan to stay again.

Beautiful property, amazing position overlooking the sea. The property was well furnished, complimenting the style of the building. All the staff were professional, friendly and welcoming. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant and throughly enjoyed the experience. Good food, sat next to a roaring open fire with brilliant service. couldn’t fault the breakfast in the morning, good choice, well cooked and tasty. It was also lovely to see that the hotel was clearly family orientated with children well catered for and also dog friendly. Loved seeing owners with their dogs walking around the hotel. would definitely come again and bring our grown up daughter and make use of the spar.

The property was having a lot of restoration. not a problem but it would have been nice if it had been mentioned at the time of arrival so that we could understand the noise in the morning. Only other very slight point is that it would have been nice to have a few more tea bags in the room. One each just wasn’t enough for a whole stay when there was more of an abundance of coffee and herbal teas. However, we asked the waiter if we could have more during dinner service and he straight away came back with more supplies that we could take to our room after our meal.

Loved the room, which was a good size as was the bed and very comfortable. Ensuite bathroom was spacious and loved the Bromley toiletries we were supplied with. Food was of a high standard, lots to choose from at breakfast and a good evening menu, we also had a Pizza from the Pizza Teepee which was delicious. Lovely staff served us in the evenings for dinner, menu was also very good.

The property is located away from the main beach area but idyllic relaxing location. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient. They have thought of just about everything you may need or wish to do during your stay and children have indoor and outside activities in abundance. We found this hotel through a booking site and will definitely be going back for another, hopefully longer, stay.

we didn’t like a noise until 12 o’clock in the evening which was in front of our room so was hard to sleep until switched off, we guess there was a ventilation from kitchen….

Hotel, Room, Games Room all fantastic. Didn't have time to explore but the location looked stunning. Spa treatment was apparently excellent as was the advice and assistance from all the ladies on reception. Suspect that by employing ladies of a certain age local to the area they really max on customer service. Great beach recommendation from the waitress at breakfast for a winter swim.

Pool and sauna area are very tired. While breakfast was excellent, the food at dinner was a little disappointing.

Breakfast was very nice, a good choice of food whether it was hot or cold. Staff were very friendly. Had one evening meal while staying there which again the food was very nice and service good. The bedroom was a good size with large bed and balcony with great views over the fleet and chessil beach.

If I had to say that there was anything I didn’t like would be we could hear quite a lot of noise from the quests in the next room door. We felt the evening meal even though it was very good was a little expensive .

So many things for kids to do, grounds and hotel itself were really nice and the view was awesome :) rooms were great and it was evident that they had really thought about families and what they need. Food in the hotel was nice too!

Not much to be honest....pool could have been a bit warmer but that's about it!

Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings. Late night staff were exceptionally accommodating.

We especially booked the hotel because it offered EV charging. However the power to the chargers were turned off and nobody could address that late at night. Fortunately the late night porter allowed us to do a trickle charge off a normal socket - which is better than nothing but not ideal. Please amend your description on booking.com if you are not going to have the chargers working.

The chilled and welcoming atmosphere and although I was a solo visitor it was nice to see how well children were cared for. The spa was fabulous and the food utterly delicious.

The only thing thing that I would have liked more information about is where you get your mattress ,pillows and duvet from. I have truly never had such a beautiful night's sleep. I will definitely keep coming back if there are spaces available. Many thanks for my special break.
