Great location

Gorgeous location & the house had lots of character. Very comfortable bed & lovely breakfast.

We booked a sea view room & didn't realise we were in the attic with a small window not at eye level. We would have liked to have eaten in the restaurant in the evening but found the prices a little high for residents.

The whole experience was better than I thought.Great price great food cozy and comfortable. If you just want to chill out.And enjoy.Full round view of the sea.Wish I could live there.

Breakfast was excellent with a good varied menu and was well cooked. It was well served by friendly hard working staff. The whole breakfast experience set us up for the day. 8.30 for breakfast is a very civilised time for people on holiday.

The decor is tired, but this did not diminish the enjoyment of our stay. A good hotel can make a holiday and The Manor House certainly made ours. Also when we arrived we were not shown where the breakfast room or lounge was. As the hotel building is quite old, It would also be nice if there was a written potted history of the premises. A minor point. Since there was 2 of us, 2 chairs in the bedroom would have been nice.

The Manor House is situated in a very quiet but extremely beautiful hamlet on the coast and we really enjoyed our overnight stay there. Our room was large and nicely furnished with views of the coast line. All the staff were friendly and we enjoyed our meal in the evening in the hotel. Food was good and service efficient and friendly. Breakfast was good with an extensive breakfast menu. The location is beautiful and the hotel grounds are relaxing, gardens well maintained and with stunning views all around.

Plenty of parking. Staff were very attentive at meals and the food was of a good quality (we eat in the evening as well as breakfast). Particularly nice bedding. Reasonably close to some lovely bits of coast. Fresh milk available for our tea. Nice to have a decent pint available

The local beach is entirely shingle and fairly steep, so not really the sort for a relaxed evening stroll. I couldn't get a particularly good phone signal (that was understandable in an older stone building, but it remained true even when I was outside in the village)

Professional, courteous and attentive. We dined in every night, as the food was delicious. Probably the best Moules I have ever had (and I've had a few!) and the Pork Tomahawk steak was delicious.
