staff very friendly and helpful. valet worked with us on parking our bigger truck. beautiful hotel

I loved the property, however I will never use booking.com. I booked in November of 2022 in order to get a great room with balcony overlooking the city. our reservation was apparently not booked correctly with the hotel. we had no balcony and our view was a parking deck. when we told the hotel it was not the room we booked, they said they had no control over booking with a 3rd party. apparently they didn’t have one available due to several events going on in the city. if we go again I will book directly with the hotel. very disappointed. the reason I chose to stay there was because of the balcony. normally I don’t write reviews but other people need to know not to use booking. com unless it doesn’t matter which room you get.

The lobby was gorgeous. The sunrise view from our room was memorable.

We would have preferred a room in the historic part of the hotel, but we weren't given the choice. I think the desk clerk thought she was doing well by us - we got a 7th-floor room in the tower, with that lovely sunrise view. We can't complain about that! But we booked Battle House for its historic attributes, and the tower was not at all historic. Worse, the hike from the beautiful lobby to the tower elevators was grim and dispiriting - it was a commercial/business lobby. Ugh.

The view from the window was awesome! We didn’t ask for a room with view, but we enjoyed looking at ships on Mobile River. The bathtub was big and deep enough to relax. Welcome cocktail when we walked in was nice on a very hot day.

The long walk from the front desk to the elevator. A few spots in the room was a little dusty. The body soap bottle was almost empty.

room size is huge, we had 2 queen bed standard, Room is very spacious, beautiful furniture, first time to have bath tub and separate. shower. Pool is very kid and family friendly, and overlooking the sky scrapper tall building. Timeless elegant place, very relaxing, everything is easy access, walking distance to nearby restaurant. Very friendly staff at front desk and the pool. Definitely we will come back and recommend to family and friends.

It's beautiful. The bed was comfy. The staff was excellent.

It was so loud. We were woken up by multiple rounds of drunk people throughout the night and a toddler on a tablet in the next room at 6 a.m. usually nicer hotels have better sound barriers

perfect location to downtown, staff friendly, cleanliness of facility

room 5137 has a lot of noise from staff (I’m assuming). From checking in at 4:30pm to checking out at 9:30 am it was going on.

The hotel itself was beautiful. The location was a really good spot. We were able to find parking, and the drink of the day was definitely a plus.

The room that we have gotten was not exactly the value we paid. I was expecting a bigger of a room for the price.

Breakfast was my only disappointment. It wasn't hot enough when served, but the waitress was excellent. About the room -- a little small, but overall very pleasant. The lobby: Absolutely a joy to relax there--large and magnificent in its beauty and comfort. I've traveled the world in my 86 years, but while at the Battle House Hotel, I experienced far more enjoyment than I had expected, the employees added to that enjoyment by being casual and heads-up to be of service, making us feel welcomed at all times.

Not hot enough breakfast, that's all.

Room service was good for a hungover, lazy morning. It was nice to valet our vehicle and not have to worry about it for the weekend due to central location of everything.

Room was outstanding, clean and modern.all staff from the valet to check out that we came across couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming. The spa is amazing, was surprised it was separate for men and women feel this needs to be stated more as would have been nice to have known beforehand.
