Best Western Plus Tuscumbia/Muscle Shoals Hotel & Suites

The hotel looked nice on the inside (lobby and room). They have a nice sitting area out back. The bed was comfy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Some reviews mentioned the noise levels due to the truck stop next door, but we were not bothered at all by any noise.

Well, everything was going great until the hotel experienced a massive water leak that flooded the whole place! They had to shut off the water to the entire hotel, so we had to find alternative lodging for the last night of our stay. Of course, this was something outside of the staff's control. While aggravating, it was not the end of the world. It was just one of those things that happen sometimes. The staff were calm and handled everything with grace and humor. The only issue is that getting a refund was inconvenient because we booked through a third-party site. Once again, not the staff's or hotel's fault.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice these facilities were for the low cost of the stay. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It had all the perks of the high dollar hotels minus the cost. The staff was both friendly and professional which is a rare combination in our day. The next time I’m in town to stay, I won’t even bother looking anywhere else.

I stayed in the roomy and accommodating King suite. While the bed was very comfortable, the couch was not good for long term sitting. Because the couch cushions provided very little comfort, most of my downtime in my room was spent sitting on the bed instead of on the couch. The hideaway couch may provide extra bedding for those who need it, but it doesn’t provide much comfort in terms of seating.

The handicap amenities were great! Erica, the front desk clerk was super friendly and very helpful. The way she talked to me on the phone is the very reason we stayed. I called other hotels in the area and the employees were short with their answers, offered no other room options and seemed in a hurry. When I called BW and she answered it like she was happy I called and offered several options to work with my request, she truly wanted to help me and wanted me to stay at BW. In the afternoon when we left if she wasn’t busy she spoke and when we came back by in she did the same. She helped us decide places to eat based on her experience in the area. When we come back this will be the only place I call. I booked online but only to get my booking points. Thank you Erica for making us feel special.

Everything was great. The pool was a little chilly but very nice and clean.

Friendly and professional staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. The nice bed, plenty of pillows, and quiet setting, other than a couple of loud trucks on the highway, made for a restful night. The room had a great TV with a good channel selection and nice sitting area. An excellent place to stay for a very reasonable price.

Having become somewhat of a coffee connoisseur, the coffee at the breakfast bar along with that available near the lobby, could use a bit of an upgrade.

We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The indoor pool was a plus as temperatures were over 100 degrees and outside would not of been an option. In the evening we did make use of the wonderful outside amenities. The corn hole and gazebo. The breakfast was exceptional.

Lack of towels at pool. Understanding that there were multiple little league baseball teams staying at the time and it’s hard to keep up with them.

Everything was wonderful! The staff was very friendly. The room was clean... I'm very particular about a clean bathroom/shower and it was!! The breakfast was good and had a nice variety. I will definitely come back to this hotel!

The only problem we had was the bed. It was very hard which made it difficult to get comfortable.

Good, just need to get there earlier than 8 or they run short of hot food. Coffee weak

I probably won't stay at another pet friendly hotel. I have pets myself but the people next to us would leave there dog unattended for a couple of hours at night while we were trying to get some sleep and the poor dog was just whining and barking until the owner's got back

We were pleased with the facility, staff, our room and breakfast. Very reasonably priced without sacrificing safety or cleanliness. Staff make an obvious effort for the guests.

The bathroom needed some minor maintenance. The cleaning staff were very loud (talking/laughing to each other) in the hallway, both days. If we had been trying to sleep in, that would have been impossible.

Truck driver who had to lay over for the weekend and wanted something other than staying in the truck. Was great location and comfortable. Just what was needed. Very clean.

When I went to check out there was only a bowl to put the key in so I felt a little uncomfortable just leaving it but I did since I had to get on the road. Other than that no complaints.

nice and clean! good beds! great location if you’re traveling thru that area…easy to stop and get back on the highway.

if you have a camper or RV, get there early for parking…there is parking but there’s also a love’s truck stop so parking was a challenge for me with my truck and camper.
