Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tuscumbia/Muscle Shoals

My friend and I really liked Kennedy, at the front desk. She met us when we came in and helped us with our bags and offered suggestions on where to eat and what to see. Very personable. Breakfast was ok--food was good but no variety when you stay for more than one day--same exact food each day.

I know it wasn't their fault that the elevator wasn't working but we didn't know about it until the day we were suppose to check in. They did move us from the 4th floor to the 2nd, but my friend had had surgery and didn't think she could handle the stairs, and the response was "We'll cancel your reservation." That was unacceptable because we were already on our way--a 4 hour trip--and we needed a place to stay. No first floor room was available--but Kennedy did help my friend carry her luggage up to our second floor room. Oh, and there wasn't any fruit for breakfast until Monday, the day we left. That would have been nice to have every day (we were there Friday-Monday).

Staff was friendly and the room was clean. They were kind enough to accommodate us by putting us on the first floor after having assigned us to the third floor since the elevator doesn’t work.

Elevator doesn’t work and it should be stated that it doesn’t especially for people that can’t walk stairs due to health issues (husband just recently had open heart surgery). I also requested a first floor room but was assigned a third floor room even after they said they could accommodate my request.

The staff was wonderful! They were always friendly and helpful. The daytime manager was great, he gave us some great places to go see and do and was always willing to help out. The room was clean and tidy. Thanks to the great housekeeping staff. Breakfast was warm and well stocked. So happy to see this return for those of us that are budget conscious when traveling.

The rooms are smaller than I was anticipating. I wouldn't say it is a don't like just something I will be aware of when traveling in the future.

We live 50 miles away and had a softball tournament in Florence. Price was affordable compared to other hotels closer to the Sportsplex. Check in was easy and front desk staff was nice. Room was small but big enough for our family of three. Breakfast was good enough where we didn’t have to stop and eat before heading to the fields.

The noise from the road was a little much. I should have read deeper into the reviews and requested a room away from the road.

It was very, very clean and enjoyed the breakfast. The staff is extremely friendly and will go out of their way to get you anything you need. The first time, I stayed had a regular room, it was a little small. So I decided to upgrade to a queen suite, glad I did. It was larger and just the room I needed. I will be back.

The pool looked as if it hadn't been used so they didn't clean it the bottom had lots of algea and felt greasy.... The room we had was right by hwy and actually quite loud from the traffic...all night long heard vehicles passing by...

Location was excellent!! Friendly staff. Reported a problem and it was corrected immediately!!! Excellent customer service. Breakfast was good would have been nice to change up some. Rooms were cleaned. Bed was very comfortable!!

Had problem with ants but was immediately corrected and moved to another room.

They were doing some upgrades but it was super clean you couldn’t tell they were doing anything unless you looked in the room they were working in. They had a great breakfast sausage scrambled eggs pancakes juice cereal and muffins

The desk clerk was very helpful. Our room was on the 2nd floor and the elevator was out of order. My wife is on a walker and couldn't climb the stairs, so she got us a room on the first floor! We appreciated that so much! Super job!

The WHOLE STAY was THE MOST AMAZING stay. We have stayed at numerous motels in Alabama since February looking for a forever home to buy. By far this stay was THE VERY BEST. And we found our home. Less than one mile away from this location. Thanks so much for all ya'll did to help us. Will refer people here from now on.
