Walking into Linda’s Inn at Liberty Farms was like walking into a storybook - everything was perfect and beautiful it didn’t seem real! The morning of our stay I got a message from Linda wondering if we would like to order food for dinner that evening at her property. The family we were traveling with is vegetarian and one of the child also has nut allergies. Linda went above and beyond to coordinate with us and accommodate us. We ended up with the best meals (dinner and breakfast the next morning) on our Alaska trip as Linda waited up for us (we didn’t arrive till 9 pm) to serve us delicious home cooked meals after a 6.5 hour hike at Hatcher Pass and told us so many stories about her life in Alaska. Inn at Liberty Farms is by far the best place we’ve ever stayed at in Alaska, hands-down! The cabins were cute, cozy, comfortable and clean, we only wished we could stay longer!!! It was dreamy! The kids didn’t want to leave and even after we’ve come home from the trip we still often talk about what a wonderful stay we had with Linda! Don’t hesitate to book your stay here you will not regret it! We cannot wait to come back to this piece of Alaska heaven and visit with Linda again!

Nothing. Everything was honestly as perfect as it can be.

Linda is a great host! She was so accommodating with our toddlers and also arranged for milk on our request. The whole idea of a family like experience with the open concept kitchen was just amazing. We woke up to a freshly made breakfast by David who was a delight to speak with. He made additional breakfast for the kids per their taste and demands :). I would recommend this place without a second thought. Kudos to Linda for the lovely concept she has introduced. We met people from Russia and India, and few moments into the breakfast everyone was talking to everyone! AMAZING!!!

There are absolutely no complains we have about this place. We felt we could have stayed there a bit longer rather than just spending a night. Kids were having a blast at this property and we did feel like we needed more time and should have planned for a longer stay. At least 2 nights!

The cabin was really nice and the beds were SO comfortable - felt like sleeping on my own bed at home. Linda was an exceptional host - we checked in rather late, but she was not fazed by it. She brought us fans and mosquito repellents upon request, and even relocated us to a differnt cabin when we thought the hot water wasn't working (user error on my part). She accommodated our vegetarian diet by making us eggless pancakes for breakfast that were delicious, and provided fresh fruit to go along with them. Overall, it was an exceptional stay

The only small negative is the location - it is about 15-20 minutes away from downtown Talkeetna, which is where all the activities we booked were located. Its not such a bad drive, and we knew this in advance, so it did not really bother us, but just wanted to make people aware.

The Inn a Liberty Farm exceeded my expectations on every level. As a new property on Booking,com, with limited reviews to date and a very reasonable price point, we booked with our expectations firmly in check. As it turned out, the Inn, its setting, its host, Linda, the lively conversation and breakfast she offered, and the window into year-round life in Alaska, we all exceptional. The main house is beautiful, with an expansive new deck spanning the back, and our king room, with ensuite bath, was spacious and tastefully decorated. We didn't get a chance to see the farming operation, but what Linda shared about their current and future endeavors was also impressive. Definitely worth a visit! Finally, the proximity to Talkeetna (and distance from it during the peak tourist hours) was perfect.

We stayed in a king suite upstairs in the house... clean and comfortable. Our luggage was immediately hauled upstairs for us at check-in. Breakfast at 8:30 was plentiful and delicious with omelets, bacon and fruit. We enjoyed visiting with Linda and her guests over breakfast about her farm, her farm-to-table plans, and the local climate. With a cell phone tower near the farm, we were pleased to have Verizon service as it was not available in many places.

We liked it all, however the stairs were rather steep and could be a problem for some people.

We stayed at Liberty Farms with a huge group therefore we rented the entire property. Linda was very helpful from the beginning and even set up an extra pair of beds as we needed them. All the cabins and the main house are newly renovated, spacious and tastefully furnished. We enjoyed a prebooked dinner at a wonderfully set table which was just fantastic! Also all the staff was attentive, friendly and took really good care of us and our dietary requirements. Breakfast was also more than we could have expected.

Please don‘t change a thing.

The owner/host was gracious and open. We had great conversations about our common interest, family, and her plans to expand the farm portion of the property. It was the most pleasant stay of our Alaskan excursion. The house is easy access from the highway, the neighborhood grocery store/gas station, and was most convenient access to Talkeetna, without the crowds. All without losing the Alaskan expanse experience. Next time we're up there, we hope to spend a couple of more days. The breakfast was a full and wonderful meal.

Liberty Farms was so magical and magnificent and entirely unexpected! I'm not sure what I was expecting but I adore Liberty Farms and can't wait to go back with more family. Gorgeous rooms with extras galore. Marvelously comfortable bed; great extra gathering space....and all of it delivered with love and grace galore.

It would have been great if we could have stayed a whole lot longer! The town was awesome and the chance to settle into cozy surroundings and relax was much needed.

Honestly, I never write these. Linda was incredibly friendly and helpful, the King room had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on, breakfast was awesome and my girlfriend and I had the best weekend getaway we've had in a long time. 10/10 everything.

Nothing that I didn't like, they're working to improve the property and I can't wait to see what it looks like the next time we come back.

The breakfast(s) were delicious. Plenty of food, you didn't leave the table hungry. Something different each morning, along with fresh fruit assortment. Linda was accommodating to my food sensitivities (but you must let her know if you have any). She welcomed us in and treated us like family, very friendly! We stayed here while visiting Talkeetna and Denali Park.
