Hotel La More at The Bisbee Inn

Bursting with character and beautiful details suitable for an elegant 19th century hotel. The common areas were as advertised, but were filled with construction supplies, so we didn’t have a chance to enjoy them. I’m sure this will be resolved soon.

Loved staying here! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. There was a full pot of nice coffee in the morning. Definitely a place with a vibe! (I was disappointed not to be visited by a ghost, although some rooms are haunted) Bed was very comfortable and the location was great. Room was toasty warm (no controls in the room, so we just had to roll with the heat coming through the vents) and had an old transom window that opened with the old metal bar! Very cool. Parking was convenient, although be aware you have to walk up a ramp to get to hotel. Apparently the hotel is being renovated, but I hope they don't take away the charm!

Although we didn't experience anything paranormal while staying in the hotel, (we did not see the lady in white on the stairs or anywhere else,) we did appreciate the friendliness of our bartenders and the amazing food and spirits we consumed at The Quarry and The Old Bisbee Brewing Company! Our gracious host Lucy made checking in a breeze and our room was cute and cozy. Sometimes, older hotels are full of musty or moldy older hotel smells, but we were pleasantly surprised that our room and the rest of Hotel La More at The Bisbee Inn was super clean and smelled nice and fresh! We appreciated the creaky floorboards, beautiful antique furnishings and unique art pieces which made exploring this wonderful hotel so much fun! Our bed was super comfortable and the A/C worked very well. The conveniently located Hotel La More at The Bisbee Inn was perfect for exploring everything the area is famous for. The underground Queen Mine Tour was absolutely worth it and we had a great time learning all about Bisbee's haunted history during our Old Bisbee Ghost Tour. I even captured a few paranormal images! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!

Entering the hotel is made easy by using a code on a keypad of the front door but the doorknob was missing which made it difficult to hold onto the door to lock it properly when exiting the hotel. One handrail on the steps up to the entrance was missing and the other handrail wasn't secured properly. We understand there are always going to be maintenance issues while maintaining a period hotel, (especially after a big weekend,) so we're hoping these issues are resolved by the time we return.

very quaint 19th century hotel with some extraordinary decor! The rooms are small as hotel rooms tend to be but there is a shower, bathroom and sink of older but quite serviceable features. The bed was very comfortable, fine bedclothes. The staff was very attentive. The hotel offers a small kitchen with stove, oven refrigerator. Endless coffee or tea you can make yourself. I overall decor in the shared living areas was replete with features from different eras and countries, a quirkiness I and my friend found very enjoyable.

I would’ve enjoyed a larger room with a closet, an iron and a hair dryer! But this is not a reason to avoid this very peaceful, social place!

I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was super communicative making sure I had access to my room at the end of the check-in time. The shared bathroom was no biggie as it’s only shared with one other room. Best of all, the bed was SUPER COMFY and everything was very clean. Other people I knew in town that stayed elsewhere were freezing in their rooms but the heater supplied here was great! They even provide robes and Werthers 😍. The interior seemed to be under construction, can’t wait to see it when complete! The location was perfect, just up the stairs from everything. So glad I chose LaMore!

A super charming and really gorgeous old hotel. There were very few guests so we didn't get to enjoy the social aspects of the giant and lovely salon/sitting room/kitchen on the ground floor. Squeaky floors and an old stairway up are the only negatives. My own mistake, booking a full bed rather than a queen, so the metal head- and footboards meant I had to sleep with my feet over the rails, or my head jammed between two spindles.. my fault. But the bed was very soft and comfortable. We were allowed to use the kitchen and fridge/freezer, Milo was very kind and helpful, and everything was super charming. We didn't use the shared bathrooms but they were flawless.

There were areas of the downstairs level that were torn up a bit, and parts/supplies all around due to remodeling (though we never saw anyone doing any of that work). A little inconvenience is that there's NO way to park and access the hotel without climbing up about 50' or more of hilly driveway or very long, long stairway. Plenty of public parking down below though.

This former early 1900s rooming house was a delight from check-in to check-out. It felt more like a B&B than a hotel and that was a pleasant surprise. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Our room was comfortable and just off the parlor and kitchen, which guests were free to use to have coffee in the morning or refrigerate their wine or reheat leftovers from the restaurants which were all within walking distance. The hotel was very convenient to all that Bisbee has to offer.

The hotel sits on a hill so the incline might be a problem for anyone who is not ambulatory, however, vehicles can pull up to drop off guests and their bags. Assigned parking is down on the street below. The room could have used better lighting and additional shelving for toiletries. Other than that, it was a great room.

It was the most comfortable bed with the softest pillows and bed linen I didn't want to get up.

Location was within walking distance of downtown and the Mine Tour. It was a very unique place to stay and the room though historic had modern heating and cooling, good shower. comfortable bed and a ghost story. First time I stayed in a room with a working transom. The décor matches the period and the sitting room downstairs contain decorations and furniture which provides common area for guests to congregate.

No fault of the hotel but it is located on a rather steep narrow street which can be avoided by parking in the lot below and walking up. Could be a problem for those with mobility issues.

I loved the hot shower and the comfortable bed, and the friendliness of the staff! They have a kitchen that feels like home. They only served to-go items like muffins and fruit for breakfast, but they have a fully stocked kitchen and a fridge, so you can bring some items to cook there!

The medicine cabinet was hanging off the wall and close to breaking, I was scared to touch it. They were still renovating the shared spaces when I went, so I didn’t explore the place much. Everything else was awesome!
