Rooms were clean, great price

A lovely clean, comfortable room, 2 big comfortable beds, good air con. Great restaurant, lovely evening meal and breakfast, very friendly staff. Especially the chap at tea time who did the washing up.

The pool was closed!! After a long hot drive we were looking forward to a cool swim, if we'd been notified that it was closed, we could have cancelled and booked somewhere else. Couldn't open/close the toilet door as it wouldn't go past the toilet, it was stuck out too far.

The hotel is an older hotel located on the historic route 66. The art work throughout the property was outstanding. Being a senior, I recognized all of the famous people in the pictures, some dating to the 1950's. More important is the room. It was a basic room with everything one needs for a one night stay. The bed was very comfortable and everything else worked. Some minor issues with the sink, but nothing that would prevent me from staying again.

The location was great for our purposes, with a good Denny's restaurant very close that we used twice. The paintings of famous actors on the walls throughout the motel added an interesting touch. We were granted a request for late checkout, 2 hours later than usual that was much needed, and paid the small fee for that with the good online reservation system.

Not much, really. We had to work on our amateur astronomy project during most of the night, so we were too tired and slept through the motel's generous breakfast hours.

Pros... Restaurant and bar on site!! Super cute theme(route 44), pool looks like it would be fun and nice weather, little park area for the kids to run, dog park in the back of the property for the dogs! By far the best amenities we have found on this road trip

Cons..... If you are sensitive to noise this is not the place for you. There is a train that runs nearby all night. Our dogs were terrified. The room could use a little extra cleaning. Dust and hair in corners. The best only have a sheet and duvet. No blankets only two pillows on each bed. No extra blankets or pillows in the room either.

A past time that we enjoy while traveling is a game of cards. However, in our room, there wasn’t one provided. A request was made to Kelly in the reception area. Even though her shift was over, she set out to find one. Not sure where it came from, it was definitely used, dirty and not a card table sized, but Kelly got the job done. Thanks Kelly, we appreciated your efforts. We played many games and enjoyed our visit to Ramada.

There is a metal support under the bed. Very noisy!

Place was quiet, clean and comfortable. I like that there is a restaurant onsite where you can also grab a beer. Even though the parking lot was full, I was still able to find a safe, lighted place to park my sports car in the back. Other reviews complain about the train, but it is very quiet! Never train horns at all and never woke me up. Haha so unnoticeable, it could even be a soothing “train” hum in one of those sleeping apps.

The breakfast was good and I love that the shower actually got hot.😁 The pool was a little chilly but I swam anyway, I loved it.

The food in the bar could have been better.

Newly renovated, clean, no smell. Overall comfortable. Loved the Route 66 graffiti art work all over the walls on the outside buildings. Wish I would have taken some pictures. Walked around all the property just to see the art work.

The mattress was comfortable but it was sitting in top of a metal box spring. When getting into bed it would squeak. However once in bed it didn’t squeak even when moving around to reposition. The other thing I didn’t like was on Priceline’s website it advertised the room included breakfast which is the main motivation in booking to stay. It was not included and we were told Ramada had taken that off their web site 6-8 months ago.

It was close to my Sons house. Extra coffee was supplied. Staff was kind and courteous.

No breakfast offered. Restaurant only. The bed could use a pillowtop or 3in memory foam. The firm mattress left me sore and stiff. Was good to get home.
