Magnuson Hotel Blythe

Very good basic facilities at a reasonable price. Pet fee of $30 not hideous but I have a problem with pet fees that are not associated with performance. I am happy to pay a basic fee for my 13 lb well behaved terrier mix but would think a minimal fee with inspection and additional charge for any issues would be more fair. Busy with a RV sales group staying multiple nights but they were friendly and quiet after 9-10 pm.

Pet fee and an unusual breakfast program involving a vendor coming through at 7-8 pm with a complementary selection for the next days breakfast. Unfortunately we were at Garcias-the local restaurant recommendation (which was fine) but it was so busy we missed the breakfast selsction opportunity.

Arrived late. Received a warm welcome from David at the desk. Received a complimentary upgrade for making reservation through booking.com. Room had fridge, microwave and kuerig machine. David offered complimentary 2 items for my use like: yogurt, oatmeal, water etc. Room was clean and comfortable with amenities and a great hairdryer. Easy parking outside the door. Close to highway but far enough away not to hear it. Grill and patio available also. Excellent place to stop when traveling.

That I had to leave.

I made my reservation at the last minute and could not have been happier. The owner greeted me at about 9:30pm and invited me to take a bottle of water and several breakfast items to my room for morning. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker were also in the room. Large flat screen TV, but I was too tired to check out what channels were available. Just a couple of short blocks off the freeway, it was easy to find.

Great value compared to other hotels in the area and away from the noise of the I-10 freeway. Nice little breakfast set-up where you take the items back to your room's fridge the night before.

When traveling by car and staying in hotels, we only stay in places with hot tubs. After a long day of travel, it is always a real treat. So, we picked this place because they advertised they had one. But, upon arrival, we find out both are drained.

Easy access off the freeway and parking is right in front of the room! The staff is friendly and helpful; be a good guest as they are working hard to renovate and rejuvenate the hotel.

The pool area was closed. which was disappointing after a long, hot drive. The bed was comfy while the room was overly perfumed (cleaners/laundry products?) and activated our allergies -- this made it hard to sleep. Windows opened but it was not enough. Idea: a scent-free room?

Our stay was excellent! The room was very clean. It smelled good. The sheets were nice, towels were very nice and big. The bed was very comfy. We were allowed to check in early, and they gave us a later check out time. When I arrived I was greeted warmly and given a bag of snacks and drinks. And it was very quiet. So our stay was very nice. We will be back! Thanks

The only thing I didn't like was the carpet. It's old and tired.

Everything was nice there and the staff was very friendly. I had a little hard time seeing the sign at night because it's dark in that area and I came in at night time late. But the room was nice and clean and the staff very friendly. So I would recommend the Magnuson Hotel for sure

Nice spacious rooms

The staff to start. Letti and Dave are awesome. My Wife and I stayed in a newly renovated room. We’ve always stayed in a older room and we thought it was comfortable. The new rooms are awesome. Keurig in the room with coffee to tea. This is our go to when we travel through this way. Thank you for the comfort.

Nothing really

This hotel is a few miles away from the main area of town, but it’s worth the drive. I was impressed with David at the front desk. He was very friendly and upgraded me to one of the newly updated rooms for no extra charge, which was appreciated. I would have gladly paid the extra cost as the larger TV, desk area and new bathroom fixtures are well worth it. The in-room coffee maker was appreciated and the complimentary juice and water they offered was great. I also appreciate that they don’t use heavily perfumed cleaning products (that many chain hotels use) as I’m allergic to them.

My only suggestion is to better clean the carpet and parking lot area.

It delivered everything it said it would and was very clean and comfortable. Dave in the checkin was super friendly and the bag of food goodies was a nice addition. Residents were quiet and the room was super clean and comfortable. Recently refurbished was a bonus. The room for my Dad and his dog was also perfect for their needs.
