Breakfast was amazing. I ate so much each morning as everything was delicious. The kitchen staff was very friendly and made sure everything was available each day. There was a variety of food and beverage items available.

Our tub was slow draining and we should have called maintenance to fix it. We made it work. I was sure to tell the front desk when we were checking out to make sure that it is fixed before the next guests arrived. Also, the gym was sufficient but I was surprised that it didn't have sanitizing wipes to wipe down the equipment. They did have towels which I ended up using.

I chose this hotel as an alternative to staying in downtown San Diego for a conference, being about 1/2 the price of downtown hotels. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with hot breakfast included. I used the MTS tram to get to and from the convention center - the station is 5 min walk from the hotel and the train runs every 15 min and gets there in 20 min.

The immediate vicinity of the hotel is not very attractive, with no coffee shops or grocery stores nearby and mostly surrounded by fast-food restaurants, although the close-by Zorba is an excellent Greek restaurant.

This was the first hotel in years I didn't have to ask housekeeping to come back and clean the shower or toilet or floor, etc. Great job to the housekeeping staff. I was pleasantly surprised to find they have Dove amenities (shampoo, Conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hand soap). Breakfast was good, and hot with grab and go as well. All of the staff were professional, even under pressure.

The Audit clerk literally said he couldn't help us when we asked about local attractions.

Very nice, new hotel a few blocks off I-5 in Chula Vista (don't enter San Diego into your gps, or it will direct you to a place in downtown SD with the exact same address). Comfortable, clean, quiet, safe, and well appointed. Seemed very well run and relatively new. Friendly and helpful staff. Would certainly stay again. Seemed a little pricey but this is California. Some excellent food takeout opportunities nearby.

Room 421 is definitely clean. Comfortable, pretty quiet. If nothing breaks, this is a great stay.

Toilet stopped working right in the middle of my stay. I called the front desk and nobody responded so I had to fix it myself otherwise I would have number two sitting in there. I get it stuff does break but no response from the front desk is unacceptable. Location is far in relation to San Diego you have to drive if you want to see anything.

Our trip to San Diego was so comfortable with the stay in Holiday inn in Chula Vista! We had so good breakfast with big variety of food! The workers were helpful and nice!

But one big minus was the door key! I was always changing for new ones because they didn’t work. Elevator didn’t work but not a big problem

We had a couple of minor issues (for example the fridge in our room wasn’t working) but the staff always solve the problems immediately and we’re super warm and professional. It was clean, modern and the breakfast had a lot of good options. There were a lot of great restaurants nearby as well.

I’m not sure I would feel comfortable walking along the street outside of the hotel alone at night but otherwise I felt safe.

Location — There were a lot of places to eat near by. It was near the freeway. The staff were very nice. The room was comfortable and roomy. I like that they had Dove soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided.

There was only 1 very slow elevator. Hot Breakfast was salty, but other options were ok. Wall shower shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers we’re all mixed up — there was shampoo in the conditioner and conditioner in the shampoo so both were soapy/bubbly.

The hotel was beautiful. Very clean and comfortable. Close to many restaurants. Bathroom was large and provided awsome body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and lotion. Kitchen area has refrigerator, microwave sink and so much storage. The breakfast had so many options and you could take a bag for grab n go if you chose to do so.

That i couldn't stay longer.
