Best Western Plus Corning Inn

The front desk check in was great. The hallways and room were nice and clean. The bathroom was small but clean. Disappointed in the breakfast offering. In our past travel Best Western Plus was always one of the best hot breakfast offerings we have experienced.

The breakfast coffee was really bad. There was only one machine that made instant coffee. The breakfast room was small and the eggs and sausage was watery and blah. The potatoes were cold and stale. There was not enough seating. People were walking in and walking out without eating or drinking the bad coffee or watered down juice. Really bad and won't be back to Best Western Plus again.

Nice pool, good breakfast, comfortable bed, quiet air conditioner.

The WiFi kept going out for two or three minutes at a time. This happened to me about five or six times while I was there. I went to the front desk several times to report it, but no one was there (from 5 am to 9 am)

Location was good, close to food since none is available at the hotel, did not serve breakfast early enough, we are early risers and we were on the road by 6AM

I did not like having to pay a fee for my service dog, he is a certified service dog that lets me know if my blood sugar drops and I had to pay a fee for him. The room was also much higher priced than what was advertised. 122 and 189 are pretty different.

I think there was a misunderstanding with the maid on check out day. They started cleaning our room at 8:30 am while we were loading our car and getting complimentary breakfast. We came back to our room to eat and the beds were stripped with sheets, spreads and towels in a pile on the floor. We had to go back down to breakfast room and eat. We had no bathroom access. This was a bit uncool but that night there were a number of fire crews there and they all left very early and I really think the maids were confused and thought we were done with our room. Honest mistake.

The front desk employee was very helpful when we asked about parking our vehicle full of camping gear. Everything was safe and secure for the night. If you are looking for a good place for lunch or dinner, visit the restaurant, Hometown Hub, located across the street from the Best Western. GREAT food, atmosphere, and service.

We were given a room 9n the first floor next to an entrance so it was easy hauling all our stuff in from the car. Quiet room, didn't hear highway traffic. Nice breakfast to get us on the road. Conveniently located next to Starbucks and a gas station. Wished we had time for the indoor pool and spa!

the cups are paper and plastic. please use glass. the little plastic bottles of shampoo, conditioner and lotion could also be in a dispenser. a big chain like Best Western can make a huge difference by being eco-friendly. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

Located right off of Interstate 5 in picturesque Corning, CA this Inn is placed almost perfectly for ones needs. Gas station. Check. Tesla Charging Station. Check. Starbucks. Check. Safeway and Denny’s. Double Check. Subway, Little Caesars, Taco Bell. Triple Check. Also the property boasts a indoor heated pool and spa. Very nice.

Floor in my room squeaked in one spot but other than that it was A-OK!

Breakfast was acceptable. Was enough for us. 😃 Like bacon better than sausage.

Don’t see where there is more that can done to make it much better.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and our room. Housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and amenities were nice.

We had three reservations, two with the same last name, and the front staff gave the wrong room to the wrong person, despite checking ID, and tried to then put the blame on the guest. One of the staff wore his mask on his chin while guests were checking in, which I found extremely disturbing.
