Fullerton Marriott at California State University

Gaby was so friendly the evening of my check in, she was so helpful and she gladly answered my questions regarding the area since I was there for work.. Josh was very friendly and fast helping me during check out.

Nothing was complimentary in my room, not coffee, tea nor even a bottle of water was offered.. for Almost $200. For one nights stay, a bottled water and a coffee pod would have been nice…

I liked the location of the hotel next to the college, the facility to the freeway, and proximity to my places of interests in; Orange, La Habra, and Fullerton. I was also relieved to find a good quality clean hotel with amenities for my family, pet, and myself. Often places that allow pets are not quality facilities like this one. The pool, room, and lobby were very clean, and our pet, Miss Fiona, had a dog walk area with "Mutt Mitts."

I did not like the unclear Covid-19 instructions especially with Orange County having different guidelines than Los Angeles County. The lobby personnel didn't clearly instructed us to leave dirty towels outside the room to be picked up. The bathroom was small and without hooks making the drying out of a towel difficult for our week long stay.

The front desk was helpful with directions and clear about parking (ie let us walk the campus leaving our car in the garage for few hours, after we checked out). So many hotels just feel like they’re taking your money with no hospitality or service mind set. Wish I knew her name. She was gracious and helpful! (She was working Thursday midday 2/9/23)

THX to Kevin for checkin service. He is a examplary employee for the Marriott group and should teach the checkout lady (Jennifer ?) in the morning crew; Short way to CSUF; Quick reaction und solution because of none working A/C;

The staff was wonderful! we asked for an early check in so we could change before attending a funeral of a dear friend and they helped us out! They also gave us a free buffet and free parking. We appreciate so much their kindness at a very sad time for us! They definitely went the extra mile!

Nice big rooms. Friendly staff and good restaurant / bar in the lobby. Lots of restaurants and places to eat just across the road.

My first room faced the highway and pretty noisy with all the traffic. I asked to move rooms and they kindly obliged and put me on the poolside where it was much quieter.

I was able to bring my Aussie with me. it was super clean and quiet. staff was great.

I paid booking but the front dest also was wanted to hold another $500 for payment on my cc. This have been over $1000 hold for two days. We ended up working the logistics out but it required a manager. they were very friendly.

This hotel is excellent!! The staff, the location, the beds, how clean it was. I strongly recommend this location!!

Breakfast should have been included for the price we paid.

When I had the TV on at night, I noticed many stains in the bed cover that were only visible with light. One of the fresh new towels we ordered had very noticeable stains.
