Hilton Garden Inn Gilroy

Great location that is convenient and easy to access from the freeway. Beautiful lobby area with cozy places to sit and hang out. The rooms were fresh, well kept, cozy, and clean.

The pool is out of service and there was no advance notice given. I felt bad for my son who packed his pool gear. If it was noted on the website, I could have prepared him ahead of time so it wasn’t a big letdown. The front desk staff was not very friendly but we always made sure to greet them anyway because we know a smile and “hello” can go a long way!

courteous and friendly staff and the free breakfast was great. Felt safe inside and out.

the bathtub faucet was leaking hot water and not just a drip the whole 2 days we were there. I reported it to the front desk immediately. I understand it probably wasn’t a quick fix but they should have moved us to a different room and repaired it right away in light of the water situation. also there’s no way the cleaning staff could have missed it as it was running lightly. carpet could have been cleaner.

Location was good, and I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. No breakfast on Saturday morning. If I need to type more. let me say I was disappointed that I could not obtain a receipt for my stay from the front desk.

Hotel desk was unable to provide a receipt copy, saying I had to get that through Booking.com. I have not yet been able to obtain a receipt. Couldn't get coffee machine to work first night. What else do you want?

The hotel was a decent price for a decent place. If you need just a basic room to sleep, this is a great hotel. It had your basic necessities and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was also nice, clean, and updated.

There was a sticky part on the carpet. But the rule is to always wear your shoes/ slippers ⚠️.

more than a month later and I’m still in dispute of a $32 that was double charged on my card for breakfast. My reservation had breakfast included already. Will appreciate if someone look into this. I’ve called the property but had to cancel the transaction through my credit card company since I didn’t have the refund from Hilton.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. A good and nutritious breakfast. Comfortable bed and very clean room. Easy to find and close to freeway on ramps and off ramps.

The pool and jacuzzi were closed. The windows didn’t open at all. Made me feel a little claustrophobic.

It is right off the highway which was convenient; room was clean and comfortable. We were there for a short overnight so didn't experience all the amentities but for a good night's sleep, it was great.

Although the cost was comparative, it was a little high for a standard room.

the family across the hall with screaming kids and slamming the door over and over again. it’s not the hotel it was the parents that didn’t take control of the kids

Very nice hotel, large room with twin queen beds. TV, fridge, microwave, coffee making facilities. Decent shower and neutrogena products supplied. Beds were vere comfortable with large pillows. Nice pool area. Great Diner for breakfast next door.

Spa was closed off for repairs but other than that one of the best hotels on our two week road trip.

Lovely facility with pleasant staff. Nice, comfortable room. A light supper in the hotel restaurant was convenient.

Guest room doors tend to slam (automatically) which is disconcerting at early and late hours. Guest laundry had issues: too few machines, one of which wasn’t working properly. Breakfast was boxed...with a number of items we didn’t eat and would not have taken from a buffet.
