Super cute inn. Parking was available. The room was a lovely size - clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, lovely bathroom and shower. There was a beautiful outdoor seating area. Complimentary wine and biscuits were provided, and we took the opportunity to play some of the boardgames that were available to us. Within walking distance of some lovely restaurants in the area.

You chose a slot for breakfast (which was fine) but there was only a small dining table to sit at for this breakfast, and other guests overran on their slots, meaning that some guests had to instead sit outside in the cold to have their breakfast. We also didn't know what we were going to get for breakfast until it was put in front of us - would've been nicer to have been told beforehand so we could say yes or no thanks.

The property was at the end of Main Street so you could easily walk the town or hop back on Highway 1 to get to all the surrounding beaches and other small towns. The breakfast was great and the staff was so friendly. The outside courtyard was a perfect place to sit with a glass of wine or cup of coffee!

The footboard on the bed in Lightship had awful corners that are right at thigh/knee level. The room isn't huge and if you are trying to get from one side to the next it's very easy to do damage to yourself! If they could remove the footboard or cover the corners, that would be the safest.

When I booked the room I missed the description that the bathroom was outside our room. When I called they graciously changed our booking. The staff was very responsive. Check-in was easy. During our stay it was quiet. All the rooms were not booked. Everyone I did meet was respectful. The first night spent some time in the living room conversing with another guest. Our conversation continued in the morning. Breakfast was served in a timely way. Interesting photographs and books relating to the area were available.

It took some getting used to the small room. There was little space to place our two suitcases, and we needed to keep them packed because of space limitations. But we make it work. Breakfast was ok. The scrambled eggs were overcooked. The berries were great. The coffee was fine.

We stayed in the Miacomet room and from the pictures and description it was not clear that the bathroom, even though private, was outside the room and you would enter it from the common hallway. This made it quite unpleasant for us as it felt a bit exposed

The staff was very friendly and accommodating to dietary needs. Plenty of coffee and tea, water and snacks 24/7 - so lovely and generous! Nice patio and easy walk to many shops and restaurants. Comfortable rooms and nice common areas.

My room had almost no place to unpack (small rack with four hangers, no dresser or drawers, etc), and since I was staying for four nights I was a little disappointed. It did include an iron, but no ironing board. It's a small issue, but it would have been nice to hang out the wrinkles and unpack.

Outdoor patio very nice, with fire at the table. great to have wine and snacks available. Breakfast very good. Shared area of living and dining room very nice. Very accessible to downtown area of Half Moon Bay

We had booked two consecutive reservations. We sent confirmation of both to host. The owner called us after 1st booking ended, and asked why we had not checked out. She would not acknowledge an error on their part, but we persisted and sent her our 2nd booking confirmation again. Not the best customer service from her.

It was nice to have such a friendly greeter when we arrived. I also appreciated the staggered breakfast times between guests. The nice quiet atmosphere during breakfast, the prompt delivery of our pancake breakfast, and the staff's respectfulness to us made our stay that much nicer. The location was fantastic because we were super close to downtown and close enough to walk to the beach. Our room was quaint, had a nice large shower, and beautiful butterfly stained glass window.

We found the shower drained very slowly and I was worried the water would overflow onto the floor. If there was a contact number for guests to reach the manager, I was not aware of this. If the contact number was in a conspicuous location, it would have helped.

Staff were lovely, easy check in. Very homely and modern. Complimentary tea, coffee and wine! Breakfast in the morning was lovely. Bed was very comfortable

We didn't realise our bathroom was separate to the bedroom before booking. Not all rooms were like this from what we could see. The bathroom itself was well stocked but a little cramped and dated compared to the rest of the place.

it was walking distance to town. it was quiet. Breakfast was fantastic there was water in our room and available downstairs. Lots of outdoor space to relax. The wine that they offered for free was a great touch

Make sure you have no problems walking up stairs to your room. There are rooms on lower levels.

Friendly staff, accommodating, a true bed and breakfast experience. Wine served in the evenings, fruit, tea and coffee always available, and an excellent breakfast. Lovely outside patio. Updated rooms with fresh linens and towels, well stocked with essential toiletries as well.
