Unik motel was fabulous it's a small little motel but it has a very modern feel with excellent amenities and was very clean. The beds were like sleeping on clouds and the staff was super nice and extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that I had an excellent stay. This is my new favorite motel in the Los Angeles area and will definitely stay again.

The only thing I didn't like was the location. The motel is located right off the PCH-1, so there is a lot of traffic, but the motel is so nice that the traffic isn't an issue. Other than that, I have no complaints

Every room is beautiful renovated, with a silent and efficient AC. You'll get a big comfortable bed with charging docks beside for usb and regular. A new and big refrigerator includes freezer. You'll have a small kitchen with all you need for cooking. New furniture, new bathroom with new windows even fly screens. Really grat detail thinking. For cooking you'll get a box with different cooking utensils and silverware. Every morning from 07AM - 11AM you'll find fresh coffee or tee at the reception. It didn't feel unsafe as some or another reviewer mentioned. It's a main street with a lot of industry like workshops and so on. We've came back every evening, sometimes midnight and everything was good. Friendly stuff, everything helpful. Open for special requests. Housekeeping on requests, perfect solutions for my opinion. You decide if you want or not. So this motel was a little treasure and I will definitely book my next SoCal trip here.

Regarding my different experiences in motels within California i had one of the best experiences here. Of course it's a little bit loud, especially at night, but is it a real surprise? I mean, you should imagine if you're located on a main street, right? So I think it's definitely not a negative point. For real, I don't remember any disturbing facts I could list here. Only the WiFi isn't stable and at the evening, when everyone is in his or hers room it stuck. But is it a big deal? Everyone have it's own phone... so common.

Near Full-Size refrigerator. Two-Burner electric stove. Full-Size microwave. Disposable bathroom slippers. Lighted bathroom mirror. Dimmer switch. Remote thermostat control. Spacious and clean, clean, clean.

Parking spaces are a bit small. Large trucks park too close to next space. Entry/Exit is one lane, allowing only one car to enter or exit on high traffic volume street.

This is a very clean place and very quiet as far as the people and part. You do hear the city traffic but it's not as crazy as being near the beach. It's so clean and everything is newer and nice. Even the outside looks better than the photos all updated, painted, flowers out side. Looks more like what you'd expect from a nice hotel rather than a motel. Locatin is good. Great walking distance food spots (5 minutes at a slow pace). The only reason I give it a 9 rather than a 10 is because the kitchen/dinette does nto have any type of pots and/or pans to do any type of cooking. However, I did not ask the front desk if they were available but overall it's an amazing spot away from the heavier trafficked areas.

Perfect stay, very clean and comfortable and lovely kitchen in the room which was unexpected, just wish there were more outlets in the room to plug up simple things like your laptop and phone charger but other than 10/10

I didn’t like how the front desk didn’t communicate that there’s an extra fee for checking in early. I called multiple times over the phone asking if they do early check ins and they just said yes they do but when i arrived i had to pay a fee and it had to be in cash just wish they would’ve said something before but no biggie

This motel is definitely one of the nicest I've ever stayed in: the room was quite attractive, spotlessly clean, roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and went out of the way to be especially accommodating and helpful.

The only downside about this property is, if you are noise sensitive, be aware that it's situated on a loud street with heavy traffic. However, the motel staff made an effort to give us rooms as far back from the street as possible.

The room was recently remodeled, was clean, and was comfortable.

There was a refrigerator, microwave, and small stove. However there were no cutlery, plates, glasses, or pans. We later found out you could borrow them from the office, but there should have been a sign in the room informing the guest that these things were available. The other thing was that the room/bathroom had been nicely remodeled, but they neglected to redo the tub which had a big ugly stain, and a smaller ugly stain in it.

It was incredibly clean! It truly felt like we were staying at a hotel instead of a motel. Completely worth every penny.

We truly didn't mind it since we are from an area just like this, but there was a lot of noise from the outside. You could hear the trucks and cars passing by. Again, we didn't mind it but it might bother other people who aren't used to hearing noises like that when trying to sleep.

Great hotel , staff are friendly and helpful. When we arrived because my husband was on crutches the gentleman on the desk straight away asked if we would like to change to a disabled room on the lower ground. Hotel is one of the cleanness I've ever stayed at , it was spotless. Great location for public transport. Lots of places to eat but isn't near to anything else, good thing is the bus stop is straight outside and easy to use to get to Long beach ect.

Nice modern remodel. Good lighting including dimmers on the over-bed lights. Mini-split HVAC instead of a noisy PTAC. Kitchen including induction stovetop (but no cookware – perhaps available for rent?). Chinese-style amenities: slippers, toothbrushes

The biggest problem was the traffic noise from the very busy street where this motel is located (Pacific Coast Highway). It's _very_ loud, and seems to be seeping in from around the door, which is also new. I hope they can add some soundproofing, as it's very annoying, especially considering how nice everything else is about the room. No shelf in the shower to place your shampoo, soap, etc. Wires going up the wall to the TV look bad. Should run these inside the wall.
