The location was convenient and quiet. We were in the area to visit family in Mt. Shasta which is about a 35 minute drive on I5. A beautiful drive back and forth while we were visiting that we enjoyed. The room was comfortable and the grounds were quiet and well kept. A quiet mountain cottage feel. The management was very accommodating to our needs as well.

The parking is a little tight for larger vehicles but it is manageable. Also I’m a big guy and the shower is small, understandable for the size of the unit but we got use to it.

Location was important. Gentleman who checked me in was very nice. Room was very quaint. Assistant manager helped with getting me out of the parking lots, as my mini-trailer was not backing up very easy.

I thought price was a tad expensive for mid week, and not the prime season, but I needed something.

The staff went above and beyond to help us with a non working tv. They were very kind and wanted us to enjoy our stay. We had a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, stove and it was very clean. It is an older place so you need to know that but it was very nice with a nice porch.

The curtains in the room needed replaced. There wasn't really anything I didnt like.

came for a conference in Mt Shasta, was 26 miles to Mt Shasta. Not close to Lake Shasta. My bad, should have checked location, can't drive at night so had to miss evening events.Alone

The property is well maintained with nice picnic area and lawn. Rooms have basic kitchen facilities which is nice.

The shower of our room was really too slow for any practical purpose. Not a remark but no restaurant near by at walkable distance.

Amazing location. Friendly and professional staff. Beds were very comfortable! Rec room was a pleasant surprise.

The wifi was completely unusable. Extremely unstable and super slow on the off-chance it was connected.

Excellent location for hiking or being with nature. Friendly staff was able accommodate our late check-in request. Room has everything you'd need for traveling on a budget, even a kitchenette.

Parking spots were small and awkwardly positioned but can't complain given how great everything else is.

price was more thatn any big chain hampton inn Holyday INN Marriott courtyard. but none of those near by. this is a problem in teh area as the next night near Crater lake was even more expensive.

The cabin-y looking rooms are super cozy and they have a kitchenette and shower. The doors locked SUPER well and all of the windows locked as well so it felt very safe. The kitchenette had dishes and dish soap so people can use them, which is very sweet. The owner seemed very sweet and even though I arrived very late, he was very accommodating and kind.

There was a slight smell in the room and our door was slightly open when we got there, which was a bit scary (but it was just the door not closing all the way initially).

Staff that checked us in was very friendly. Had a problem adjusting my TV channels and the maintenance guy was right there to handle it. That was impressive. Room and bathroom was extremely clean which is a must for me. The lodge is well maintained..extremely quiet..cabin like feeling. Our family rented a Airb&b but we chose Lake Shasta lodge for our weekend stay and I would definitely recommend this place.

I thought the location was a bit confusing to find compared to what is listed on the site but we managed so not a real problem 😊
