This is a super cute and clean hotel! The staff went above and beyond! The cafe on the corner is lovely and the employees there were so sweet!

The location is great if you are planning on visiting Griffith Park. However, as a solo traveler I did not feel 100% comfortable walking in the area. (I felt super safe at the hotel, the area was just a little sketchy for my taste.)

What a beautiful little Jewel loved this hotel. Absolutely adored the concierge. They were fantastic. Hosts got very personable with them. The restaurant was fabulous. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.!

Didn’t love the location. It was sort of on its own with very few places to walk to but the few places that were accessible were great!

Nice, historic hotel in Hollywood. Very close to Paramount and about 3 miles from the TCL Chinese theater and walk of fame. Easy Uber ride although we walked to the theater from the hotel. Room comfy, staff great. Wonderful pictures of the old Hollywood legends adorn the walls on every floor! Free parking in the rear of the hotel. And we got a fantastic price for the area.

Nothing.

Friendly front desk mgr Michael, attentive parking attendant so we didn't have to figure out how it worked,, ease of access.

Small but important and super easy problem to fix:Like many hotels, there were no outlets to plug things in. Come on, people... ! It is 2022, and everyone needs to plug in their phone and maybe one or two other things in addition. They need to have some plugs readily available and not buried in the room.

The front desk staff were accommodating and very friendly. The lobby is beautiful and they have a really nice bar with outdoor seating. The bed was nice, we stayed on the 2nd floor and we can see the hollywood sign from the window. Good hotel, value for money.

Not a fault to the hotel but the area is not well connected to the public transport. If you plan to go straight to the LAX you will need an Uber/Lyft.

Property is very well located, walking distance from Paramount Studios and many bus stops in the surroundings. The room is big, bed was comfortable, big TV screen. Bathroom could've been bigger but it was fairly sized.

Would've loved a coffee machine but there was a great coffee shop few steps away.

Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.

No exhaust fans in shower area. Location was convenient for the purpose I chose the motel, but in reality not a great deal on offer in the immediate facility.

It was a cool old hotel that provided my wife and me a clean, quiet and comfortable room for a reasonable price. We chose to park our car in the hotel lot for $18 because parking on the streets was tight. A short walk down the street was the Italian restaurant Osteria del Buca, which we recommend for a casual and fun dinner. We had coffee at the Sweet Corner adjacent to the hotel, not bad but not something we would repeat should we stay at the hotel again.

The area around the hotel was quite uninspiring. My wife and I did an after dinner walk around Paramount Studios to walk off our pizza and check out Paramount. It was a surprisingly long walk because of the size of the studios. Nothing unpleasant occurred, but the appearance of many of the buildings across the street from the studios left me feeling nervous at times. i wouldn’t recommend that walk.

The comfiest bed I’ve slept in. All staff were friendly and helpful whenever needed. The location is really handy for anyone with a car or using public transport; multiple bus stops within a few minutes walk and roughly 15min drive to major hot spots. Coffee shop and bar/restaurant in the same building. Both give multiple options for food and drinks in a great atmosphere.

The car parking is quite expensive, we didn’t use this and instead used public transport and Uber/Lyft which saved money overall. I would not walk around the area at night, make sure you get dropped off directly at the hotel.

Great historic hotel with good sized comfortable rooms. Excellent location and parking available at additional cost. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and made up on each day of our stay. Views of the Hollywood sign and a great bar, Italian restaurant and cake and coffee shop nearby.

No breakfast facilities or coffee machine. Parking is good although it would be better if included in the price. Parking entrance was locked after 6pm however we were not made aware of this by the staff or valet, only found out when we couldn’t get in after a long day.
