Rio Del Sol Inn Needles

I rented the family room for the long weekend to celebrate my parents birthday and celebrate with friends and family in the river, we stayed in the family room and it was awesome. The space was plenty spacious and there were toiletries. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The main reason I rented the room was because it had a fridge, large living room sofa and actual kitchen stove with 3 pots, utensils, 2 knifes plates and even a blender. Our friends and family would of liked renting the room as well.

the problem that needs to get fixed were all doors would not close properly and would get stuck trying to either open or close. We were not able to access NETFLIX. I would recommend having more pots we were traveling with other families and friend that stayed in the same hotel. Aside from all those minor problems everything was great.

The front desk evening clerk, Martin, was very helpful and friendly....even told us about the discount at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant across the street (great food, all homemade). The morning clerk, not so much. Our room was clean and updated, with comfy bed, pillows, and furniture and microwave and mini-fridge. Also had various soap, shampoo, etc., dispensers. The pool area was nice, but too hot outside to use....thank the Good Lord the room AC worked great. We will stay, again, when coming through (get your gas in Arizona, just 2.5 miles away....$3.29 v. $6.69/gal).

Noisy bathroom fan.

Nice motel for a quick one night stay. The room was mostly clean, and served our needs well. The pool looked nice but it was way too hot outside to actually use. The front desk staff were very friendly. It is close to a few fast food options.

The room was clean, but there were ants in the bathtub coming out from around the faucet. We didn't want to leave any toiletries in there for the ants to get into which was a little inconvenient. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Beautifully decorated, clean spacious room, comfortable bed, fresh coffee in lobby with small gift selection. A nice table with two chairs, as well as a comfortable side chair made it almost like home. We have been on a 4,000 mile car trip and this room was a nice surprise and probably my favorite of all the hotels we've stayed in so far. The front desk staff were very friendly as well. Gas stations and restaurants nearby and easy access to interstate.

The only negative I can think of is the ice machine was broken.

Hotel has changed a lot of the outdated furnishings and decore, but has much to do yet. Upholstered chairs need cleaning or replacing, dressers, etc have many dings and scratches- tho it possibly could be repaired. Again, they have accomished a great deal, and the room was super clean! Adding a hot breakfast would be a great improvement!

Evening clerk was a pleasure to talk to.

The location right next to the freeway was great. Thought it might be noisy with freeway traffic but it was actually quite quiet. Very good desk clerk, I think his name is Martin. He was helpful with restaurant suggestions and just a kind person. There was a picnic table on the grounds where we ate our take-out dinner.

The bed was a little worn and lumpy - not uncomfortable for one night. There weren't lamps by the bed. There was a counter instead of a table right over the AC unit so was uncomfortable for playing board games.

Martin at the reception was super helpful. He gave us great advice and made us feel really welcome! The room was comfortable and clean, WiFi coverage excellent. I would definitely stay for more nights.

There was some noise from outside during our stay because we were on the ground floor opposite the pool. We didn't lose our sleep or anything but someone else might be more sensitive to external noises. The AC fan was a bit loud even though it was set at the lowest scale.

It was clean, and you could tell they put in an extra effort to keep it presentable! The family suite was exactly how the pictures on the website looked, it was a very lovely suite. It was completely brand new, and very clean!! We enjoyed our time there very much!

It could use a little sprucing up on the outside, but that is a minor issue.

I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff, in light of my disappointment in an outside seating area as discussed later. Excellent lighting and shelving in the bathroom, which is very rare -- even in much pricier hotels.

I had relied upon there being a pool, or at the least a pleasant outside area to relax after many hours of driving. There was not. Although advertised with a pool, it was closed. Neither would they allow the guests to sit near the pool (actually chain locking the gates). The only alternative to sitting outside was basically next to the parking lot, with only a dirty table and chairs, and ashtrays. I can understand the need for temporarily stopping swimming, but to lock guests out of the only garden and sitting area made the entire hotel unacceptable to me. Unfortunately, the room was non-refundable.

Hotel located right off the freeway exit. the room and location were amazingly quiet. Parking lot very clean and large, extremely well lit. Pool area looked extremely clean and inviting with furniture in good condition. I heard the water was too cold to get into. Room was large, clean, but old furniture. Bathtub was in need of being replaced. Bathroom was very well lit. Coffee machine in room and fridge and a/c all worked as expected.

For $150 they took another $50 at check in for damage deposit. What????? I'm not sure that was explained anywhere upfront on Booking.com.
