Little Inn By The Bay Newport Beach Hotel

Location is steps away from the beach. My husband and I grabbed a cup of coffee and pastry from the donut shop across the street the morning of our check out (one night stay only)!and enjoyed them on the beach. A quick walk and relaxing retreat. The property is older so it is small, but there were no amenities we were without.

I’ve read reviews where guest complained of noise. The location is located on a busy street frequented by cruisers and beach revelers. They were not bothersome as I anticipated we’d experience the same. The evening was quiet, the activity on the streets do significantly slow down, and we were visiting during the heart of spring break. Guest reviews also complain the rooms were too small. This is not a resort. This is an Inn. A little Inn as the name of the property implies. We checked in fully aware after researching the property and its location. The Inn met our needs perfectly and was a great price for a weekend getaway with the beach so easy to access.

Great location. Only 18 rooms and 18 parking spots but we parked right in front of our room. Laid back. Chill. Staff available whenever needed. Cute little rooms! Walk to restaurants, beach, pier, etc. free bikes on the property to use! Also free use of beach chairs and umbrellas.

They didn’t have little bars of soap, but instead had liquid soap dispensers in the shower - however ours was completely empty. But the staff took care of it right away! No pool Or continental breakfast but rooms had microwave and coffee maker and mini fridge

Location is great! Walking distance to Newport pier, restaurants and bars. Room was small but very clean and comfortable. Perfect for a couple. Could hear traffic from street as it is right next to window but just left the tv on and it was not a problem. Slept great! Didn't get a chance to borrow the bikes or beach gear but nice to know it was available.

Charge for parking kind of sucked...I get that it's the beach but when you are a guest at the hotel and they have their own parking it would be nice to not have to pay. But not a deal breaker, would definitely stay here again!

I loved the amenities of the room since it had a very comfortable bed, a refrigerator and a microwave (which is rare). The location was awesome to get a break from work. You can walk to the beach, the pier, tons of restaurants, just really nice.

I really have no complaints except that if you check in early, there is no secure place to store your luggage.

Modern rooms in a small boutique hotel made for a lovely 1 night stay. The receptionist was very helpful and the location was a short walk from Newport Beach (5 mins to the closest part).

No elevator meant lugging our suitcases up and down the stairs. Beware that this hotel is opposite a fire station so you may be woken up by the trucks!

I travel a lot and for a modestly priced hotel/inn they are in my top 3. Thank you to Everyone on staff and ownership for an incredible 2 night stay. The owner needed to take care of 2 issues and she resolved these Immediately. Location couldn't be any better. Mere steps to Beach and our favorite restaurants and shopping. Thank you again for a fantastic stay during the Christmas parade 😎

$15. Parking per night But nothing else

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Nice room, big enough and very comfortable for me. I think they upgraded me at no additional cost, very nice. One note: I slept with the ac wall unit on in "fan" mode to drown out the street noise, it worked like a charm. Excellent location walking to grocery store, restaurants, the beach and Newport Beach Pier. Bikes and beach equipment to use at no cost. Bonus: My cousin was in Anaheim for a visit, she and her husband and my Uncle drove down for some beach time and were able to part at the hotel at no cost. I'll definitely be back.

Great location, plus we could see the beach waves right out our window, room was very cozy and convenience all around. We walked to the beach, and rode Ebikes around town.

There was some ants in the room and the AC/Heater vent was dusty and dirty. And we had to pay for parking upon arrival, if you don't pay for parking then you park on the street.

location was great, 5 minutes to the sand or harbor. 10 minutes to Newport Beach pier. restaurant’s and bar’s all around you. only little thing no direct view of water. but other than that it was great. also free Beach cruiser use from the hotel

Location...we were able to walk to the beach, as well as restaurants...this hotel used to have complimentary bicycles to use, unfortunately, they no longer have them. We do miss that perk. Wish they would bring the bikes back!

Bring back the bicycles!
